Ancient, I like how you posted three full posts, it really shows you are taking everything into consideration, however, the beast-Naga you controlled are abnormally inept. They are mentioned by me to having wicker or reed shields, and never seem to use them. They also never seem to defend or protect themselves. Basically, they are useless idiots, which destroys the lethal feel this environment was meant to have. Shalid and the princess alone were able to kill about forty of them without any problem. I also recall Shalid cutting across a chest, causing the beast-Naga to die instantly. I have read historic accounts of men sliding up the blades of swords or shafts of spears upon being impaled by them, only to cut down the opponent who did that!
Although you do not have to change anything, please take into consideration that all characters should be portrayed semi-realistically. Like humans, beast-Naga think and react, so it'd be a good idea to showcase that in the future. Try to portray enemies as you would your own characters: as living, thinking, reacting beings who want to live. Regardless, I like how you have your RPing features and factions organized so well.
note:
Rev. Caesar Caine & Pvt. Thomas Malcolm, Barracks and Battlefields in India, 1891,
“The enemy (Sikh swordsmen) received us (the 10th foot) sword in hand (at Mooltan, 1848), and fought like wild men, actually fighting with their swords when our men’s bayonets were in their bodies.”
General Orfeur Cavenagh, 1879,
“A British officer, armed with a long regulation spit (a sabre), ran his sword through a Goorkha (Ghurka). Notwithstanding his agony, the wounded man literally forced his way up to the weapon’s hilt, until he could close with his adversary, cutting him down with his kookri (a kukri) and falling dead beside him.”
