Though I couldn't find the quote id, I'm sorry to hear that you're leaving, Duncan.
Concerning more recent things:
I love your new thread idea, Fish! I actually immediately thought that my (potential) character would go Werewolf, George, though I hope to stay human for a while.
Blue, on P:R, is the room you entered the cafeteria, or some other place?
Oh, elves, eh? There's at least High, Wood, and Dark Elves. High Elf can be broken into Sun and Moon Elves, and there might be a branch off to Eladrin Elves if you want double-fey (magic) power. Then, if you have a High Elf, you must obviously have a Low or Common Elf, and one of those could alternatively be called a Grey/Gray Elf if you so choose, or they could be a different subrace entirely. Wood Elves can be broken further into different habitats, like Snow, Sea/Mer, Desert, and maybe Sky Elves (if you want a flying race and have a thing for elves). You can argue for a Jungle Elf, but that's usually just a different, more tribal cultured version of the Wood Elf (which is usually already pretty tribal to begin with). Finally, Dark Elves, commonly known as Drow, I feel can be broken into Night and Blood Elves, if you really feel there's a difference. Then I looked it up, and found the different ways I subcategorized them differs depending on which universe you're talking about (I've combined several into this list) and there are more, like Wild, Star, Crystal, and Lythari (which are like werewolves but for elves). Additionally, if you want, you can include related races as being full elf subrace in disguise; depending on your universe, dwarves and orcs might actually be elves. And we can't forget House-Elves, Santa's Elves, and Keebler Elves from this mix, can we?
Finally, real life stuff: got a haircut a few days ago. Went from 22+ inch long hair to maybe 2 inch long hair. It's quite a change, and I kinda like it.
