I've also had a few issues when I started RP last month when I attempted to participate in Into the Fire. Like Emo, I kinda went overboard and put my ideas into other peoples' ideas, something I didn't know was against the rules.

I will try to include some secondary content relating to my race, maybe some raiders nearby the Goerack forest, coincidentally nearby the legionary explorers who just arrived.

*After some back and forth negotiation, Captain Darius and the Goerak leader eventually realize they aren't so different after all. They agree to mutually beneficial terms, and hope this newfound friendship will lead to a bright new future. The first Goerak-Human handshake was exchanged that day. They then turned and walked back to their respective forces, about to tell them to stand down so they could share this great news.*

^ lol!

Well then Capt, I think you made me get carried away, and I ended up with a nine-post fight scene. I hope it's not too long or breaks any rules, I tend to take my action scenes seriously. Feedback would be appreciated; is it too long? Too detailed? Lacking something? Something done wrong? As a reminder, I am from the storytelling department, so there is an emphasis on depth of content.

Az*Gareth usually when attackING you want to first describe how you arrived and your force and what not, then allow me to respond on how my people act.

However it was nice to read so we are gonna let it slide. We will say it was a northern tribe that ha's yet to join.

Tips when fighting Goeraks

1:a Goerak female would never leave the safety of the tribe unless with an alpha

2:They grapple more than punch. So when you mention the head seen with oneach of them the goerAK would either slam the thing on the ground or snap it's neck which is easy enough

3: in the bio I said regulars arms were about a foot in diameter which is huge, and if you swung you'd probably get stopped before making it all the way through (their just big boned lol)

4: betas won't fight, they usually scatter if not they take death like a champ... by standing there :(

5: when spotting you they would first surround you from the trees so you either can't see them or can't reach them. From there they pounce onto the intruder and even if you put you sword up you'd have a massive body covering you

6: if your human sized/strength one on one would be extremel difficult even with a weapon and they wouldn't tire as quickly as you portrayed

Alright Az*garath, your post.

It does break the godmod rule, unfortunately. This is entire situation is important enough that or may not define the relationship between the Goeraks, **ivoths, and the Sorusians. Ideally you should have made a post about that the **ivoths were present in the forest. Either you let Corbonyo spot you, or have a post about you making the first encounter and then seeing where it goes from there.

And for the actual fight, you would have your people charge the Goeraks/execute whatever tactics they were going to use. But you don't control the Goeraks' response and how they counter the charge.

Anyways, he said he was okay with it, so I'll let it slide. Just keep this is mind for the future.

Mark, your bio is accepted but I just want to discuss a few things.

You said your military was small, at 90,000, and your nation itself rarely goes to war. But with 550,000 people, that is a significant portion of their population. To put this into perspective, Dormoor is a nation with a population of 500,000. They place an emphasis on military, but only have 50,000 soldiers.

Anyways, it's fine, you're accepted. But your military is far from small compared to other nations and doesn't fit in with that peaceful-farming-nation-that-doesn't-like-war vibe you seem to be going for. If that really is what you're going for you may want to look into the whole military thing again. Just a suggestion, and nothing you have to change.
