400,000 men may seem like a lot, but consider the empire. All conquered territory on the mainland is occupied, and the people don't want them there. Those 400,000 are spread all over the empire, and many have to be garrisoned in cities and forts miles behind the borders just so people don't revolt. To withdraw men from an area is to either give that area up completely or put it at severe risk of being overrun. Additionally, many of those men are also conscripts.

Also consider that many of the Allied races are superior combat wise to the humans. The dwarves are stronger, better trained, and better equipped. The giants are stronger, larger, more intimidating, and harder to injure. The same could be said for the **ivoths and Goeraks. And the **ivoth's use of guerilla warfare will be useful against a larger foe.

To summarize: Humans suck and the Empire's soldiers are spread thin across territory that's just waiting to be free of them.

As a heads-up, regarding the Goerak forests, although some Gray Minotaur clans, warbands and tribes raid that territory, it is likely that they are not sharing information, or simply do not care about organising anything, so it is possible that that information of the Goeraks is limited; thus most inhabitants of Karrus may still not know about the Goeraks. Those who do may have been killed by Goeraks or other Grays, or succumbed to the environment, too.

Thank-you Venom for the detailed list of armies; it seems the allies are at a huge disadvantage! Especially in naval warfare, seeing as the Grays do not have any knowledge of seafaring at all. Nevertheless, it’d be very difficult to invade the fictional equivalent of the Himalayas and its rugged landscape.

The Grays would have to rely on patience, waiting for the Sorus Empire’s legions spreading apart during marching, and then only attacking once the army separates enough for swarms of clans and tribes to “spam” individual regiments, and then dart off amidst the hilly, uneven terrain that horses would find difficult to maneuver. The Grays would have to be wary of crossbows, though, as most Gray guerillas do not wear heavy armour, relying on speed, agility, and brute force to avoid death.

The Grays can eat grass for sustenance, whereas humans cannot, so the Grays are partly independent from supply lines, and can raid them as well. A furious clan could also consider leaving their mountainous homelands and simply raid villages and towns supporting supply lines, too.

I do not think that Grays would be superior in terms of martial arts to humans, especially when faced with soldiers, but Gr(c)ivoths’ bovine blood makes them quick and powerful in the charge; their reinforced skulls also acts as a king of natural helmet and weapon. An unarmoured human could be head-butted to death by a Gray Minotaur within a minute; the Gray would tackle the human down, hold the man against the ground, and repeatedly head-butt the face and forehead, crushing the eye sockets and inflicting fractures.

Charging Grays would be vulnerable to a phalanx, getting in range of crossbows or heavy javelins, and probably would not be useful charging into heavy cavalry or amassed missiles.

Alright, just want to address some more things.

Espionage: You can have spies within the Sorusian Empire. The spies will have to be human. But you won't know their entire infrastructure and I control what knowledge your spies discover.

Second Nations: This is allowed. Just don't try to make some powerful country that sees eye to eye with your first one on pretty much everything, essentially making an expansion of your first nation. In fact I would encourage your second nation to be very different.

You know that 106° will melt your brain and last night I reached 104 almost 105 i was in the hospital for a good time before they said it was good for me to leave and so I'm stuck in bed on here so I should finish my characters inferi.

And capt can I change the them to say that they are representING the goerak tribes, and they can be known throughout the land but it isn't really a big deal, very few find it suitable to travel through the forest and if word was to spread only those who.travel there would know what they look like, because of their reclusive nature and taless of them very because sometimes a group's of betas will be escorts and others alphas and they both have a completely different look (mostly height)

So if one knows about them it would be very mixed, and I was having the humans represent them but I a different way.

And no one has actually seen the tribe so it could be that they are just beasts of the forests that know how to talk
