The two did not represent a nation like the other esteemed guest, but the guards would not have know. If asked, their only response would be "We sail from the south" in a way that made them seem foreign.

The guards would know, though. It's of their job. The amount of nations attending can probably be counted on two hands. If you don't even say what nation you come from, you aren't getting in. And it has to be a real nation that isn't already present at the meeting as well. You also need to consider that the Sorus Empire, their greatest enemy, is made up almost entirely of humans, and the guards will be fearing assassins.

Here's the thing though. Your civilization is at the very least confirmed to exist. You're surrounded by four different neighbors, all of which will have attempted to set foot in that forest at least once. You even mentioned that the Goeraks offer their services as guides through the forest. Once somebody utilizes these services, nothing stops them from going to the nearest town and telling everyone of the forest creatures who helped them out*****garath himself even stated that his people raid your territory every now and then.

Maybe they never visited the city, but their neighbors know they are intelligent enough to communicate with and guide others through their territory.

The dwarves are looking for allies, and even if little is known about your civilization they would have still sent a messenger because they know it's there and that it shares a border with Sorus.

Current army standings:

"Allied" Nations*

Dormoor:
Total strength: 50,000 men
- Assuming the composition of Humans and Dwarves among the Dormoor army is in the same proportion as their general population, this gives us:
- 45,000 Dwarves, most of which will be heavy infantry
- 5,000 Humans as archers, scouts, and other support roles (light cavalry?)
- Navy: Unknown. They most likely have ships as Dormoor is a major trade power.

Tanik:
Total strength: No organized military.
- 2,500 Goerak Alphas with "plate armor and crude weapons"
- 9,000 Goerak Regulars
- It does not appear that Betas can be fielded.
- Navy: Likely nonexistent.

Londor:
Total strength: 20,000
- 5,000 active soldiers
- 15,000 reserves
- Unknown proportions of Humans to Half-Giants.
- Navy: Possesses merchant ships. Uncertain if there are war vessels.

"Mountains of Home":
Total strength: No organized military.
- Largely disunited. Relies largely on improvised guerilla warfare by any able-bodied adult. Thus total strength would be less than 33,000, the nation's total population.
- King Eodis has an armed militia of 1,000 infantry. Plate armor, iron/bronze weapons.
- No cavalry or ranged weapons such as bows.
- Navy: Likely nonexistent.

Balan Republic:
Total strength: 100,000 men.
- Men from the heartlands near the capital are highly disciplined.
- Navy: Small fleet in Asindia and other port towns.

Total Allied Strength: ~182,500
- For the Mountains of Home, only King Eodis's personal army is included in this figure. Tribal forces are unaccounted for.
- Naval strength: Balan Fleet as well as potentially ships from Dormoor and Londor.

Axis Sorus Empire

Total strength: 400,000 men
- Available for offensive: 80,000
-Navy: Sea power confirmed, exact figures unknown, most likely very strong

Conclusion: If the "Allies" fielded all available soldiers, they will still be outnumbered more than 2 to 1. Sorus most likely has naval superiority. Only Dormoor would have troops experienced in fighting large scale battles, and battles againt the Sorus Empire.

Allied advantages:
- Non-Human races to diversify tactics.
- On the Defensive
- Potentially shorter supply lines.

Allied disadvantages:
- Lack of sea power
- Many undisciplined troops
- Decentralization

Sorus advantages:
- Naval superiority?
- Most likely skilled in sieges.
- If an offensive is made against them, they have a vast number of troops for defense.

Sorus disadvantages:
- If they try to push past existing borders, their lines of supply will be stretched.
- Limited number of men available for offense
- Limited to Human combatants

tl;dr This is all irrelevant because Lasky will have Dormoor defeat Sorus and every other nation and conquer the world.
Ramsay Bolton is the king we deserve.
