The Saradominists made them that way. They've been banished from Falador for years now, and have no allies. They have probably been forced to resort to banditry to get by, as the alternative would be to starve, and because the Black Knights are deemed criminals and accused of being evil, only criminals and evil people will join them.

Daquarius has noble intentions. He cares about his men, and during the Invasion of Falador he ordered them to avoid unnecessary civilian casualties. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Terrorists are terrorists, regardless of how they came to be. If they can't be corrected, the only path is to kill em all and let Icthlarin sort out the innocent - or ask the elder gods to create a new land so all zamorokians can live in some state of awkward political strife (aka. Zamorokian bliss)

My character agrees with me, and apparently so does yours - this is why you can attack and kill most black knights on sight. Though, that's true for most things - the world guardian really is a sociopathic hero, huh?

Corrupt and unjust bureaucrats are corrupt and unjust bureaucrats, regardless of how they came to be. I'm talking about the White Knights here.

Also, "Kill 'em all if they can't be corrected" is not a good philosophy to apply here, considering you have taken no attempts to correct them. But Dishonored Among Thieves actually has you set the Black Knights straight, so there's that.

As for the torture implements in Taverly Dungeon... it's Taverly Dungeon. Those were probably already there when the Black Knights moved in. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

I'm reminded of a story by Berus from years back, where Generals Wartface and Bentnoze of the Goblin Village both get killed in a hilarious cooking accident, and the Garagorshuun and Thorobshuun tribes are united by the main protagonist and the new General, a badass goblin named Thunderstruck. He first attacks Taverley, killing off the Druids and learning Summoning, then he makes an alliance with the Trolls and conquers Burthorpe. He gathers more strength and then proceeds to conquer Falador.

Their noble sacrifice enabled me to access the white knight store for easy invention components. May they rest in pieces.
