About As Demons Weeping,
Good to hear I am doing fine in my thread, and you're right Angel, me being a writer for so long has helped in creating and then unfolding the RP. Not bad for a first-time RPer, I will learn and get better.
Maybe it is a restrictive RP, or having a scenario-based formula of storytelling, but as I said earlier, I thought this was the way to go as my previous project, Mechanical Necropolis, was a sandbox RP with an emphasis on user-submitted content, and it didn't work out, at all. I also felt that it was important to direct the quests/plots towards a specific goal, to prevent grinding or getting nowhere.
However, I thought I made it clear that characters could go with or against everything I type, hence why I allowed Wasted to ignore my past several posts to try and RP with him regarding his character Zaphiran and allowed him to venture on independently. Sometimes, I list various details and notes at the end, but these are not meant to necessarily be obeyed, but are signals or hints of what the user can do.
I attempted to make Inferi and Annie like minor thread masters, but both declined the offer, so I wasn't sure how to proceed. I am trying to empower the users and then join them together, which was why I controlled Annie to get her straight into the action so that Inferi and Annie could RP together, and then just get back into the earthly world. I noticed that all user characters involved spread apart on their own accord as well, so that also limits the extent of RPing quite a bit.
Of course, if everything just doesn't work, we can move on from the project.
