Oh, I won't be quitting As Demons Weeping, only if everyone else does first. I have no problem RPing with just a single user.

I am sorry to hear that Angel. My own grandparents from my mother's side died last year or more, though considering they were both child abusers, and my grandma threw my head into a window frame when I was very young, I never mourned their loss. My granddad also whipped his daughters, so for that, I never respected or cared about them. I don't know how it feels like to be saddened from loss of real family, but at least my prayers will go with you.

Well yes, that's quite a bit from my situation, LOL.

I've always been quite enamoured with the concept of legacy. I've never really been as close to my family as I would have liked, and because of that I've always yearned for greater familial bonds. It's interesting to reflect on what is passed down from one generation to the next, how every being is simply a continuation of the greater narrative of evolution. I find it all rather poetic, even if (such as in your case,) there are blemishes in the tale.
