Hello Annie, welcome to another day in the RP forum. *blink* *blink* And I better create a new class: child soldier, just for Annie.

I also just updated the classes and used some First World War slang to make it sound more, uh, WW1ish. I suppose I should also make some bios to serve as an example.

I was thinking that the one who gets to be the captain is turn-based, but no-one is forced to be one. But as for Capt, I guess he's got shotgun for captainship for wherever his character will be at! Since characters may be at different barracks/headquarters, it is assumed that everyone happens to be at the same barracks unless otherwise specified. For example, the Commonwealth HQ has a barracks for everyone to be at, and then everyone gets to be sent out/transported to various areas throughout the world for missions. Presumably, the Commonwealth HQ is in Albion, main HQs are also at Gaul, the New World, Australia, Indus, and Imperial Ministry.

I just updated the major factions post to include nation names and how they are called, for convenience. I tried to use fictional or semi-historic equivalents to refer to the nations, but whenever a real-life term is used, it is used in a fictional sense. This applies in context of the RP through and through.

Oh, and the thread is called Broken World, it's on the front page, easy to spot. It is open.

So, just what responsibilities does a captain have? You mention they plan out the mission and create scenarios, but does that mean they also get to decide what is being attacked, how many enemy soldiers are there, etc.? Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

The captain makes sure his unit survives/is successful. Each mission is different and will be explained in briefing. Yes, the captain is basically a user who serves as a commander of the unit, as well as giving the user the according user freedom to unfold the scenario however one wishes but creating approach enemy forces, or creating a scenario of enemies to attack, or what have you. Of course, this power can be withheld, or limited to just commanding a squad, or limited to creating an opposing force. All scenarios can be different and have different rules, or so I planned, to prevent repetition.
