All this anti-transgender bigotry and prejudice that's been churning about lately is quite annoying. Throughout social media, it's quite easy to find comments/opinions/uploads/whatever that spew out stupidity and hatred against transgenders/gender identity, even going as far as silliness regarding which toilet is used, or as extreme as one case in Germany where some Muslim men tried to kill German transgender women (men who became women) after mistaking them for female-born.
Can you believe it? There are people who hate other people just for what they do to their own bodies or how they look or dress. Other peoples' bodies are not your property in the first place, so there is no reason to get furious or triggered-up because of what other people do, want to look like, or how to behave. Anyone who hates what they cannot control is probably a crazy person.
Although I understand that suicide rates seem to be higher for transgender people, due to the possibility of mental problems, and that's the main reason why I would never suggest becoming transgender due to that risk, I cannot control other people, and so allow them to do what they feel is best for them. I do not support extra privilege because of one's gender identity, though I am against prejudice nonetheless.
Though, then again, the atheist users here are the smarter ones more tolerant than I, so if any of you feel I am completely wrong, you are welcome to tell me why. I guess I just had to get something off a' my chest to the very few electronic friends I have.
