Oh yeah, I am like 100% aware that all artists go through that. I wasn't necessarily referring solely to artistic ability in that second edit, more just life in general. Back then I didn't really have friends except for people online. Now I'm lying in bed finishing the last of the homework I planned to do tonight while my boyfriend sleeps away beside me. It's just weird to see how much I've grown up since then I guess.

OOHHH, growth and life, OK. Yeah, when you're a teenager, then an adult, quite a lot changes. I don't have friends either, I prefer to be alone, though I also drove from British Columbia to Texas just to visit one friend, a few months ago, and it was great. Life slows down when you reach twenty, or so that's what happened to me. Ha, I find it really cute you're doing your homework while your boyfriend is asleep, cutely funny image to think about.

Yeah. I'm 19 now, so we'll see what happens when I hit 20 next year. Just weird. Like, 4 years ago there was a running joke because I spent summers in Hawaii, causing what is already a weird timezone situation between RPers to be even more extreme. They started to joke about me being the only one around in the graveyard hours. Now I live with a couple roommates (one of which needs to burn in hell for all eternity, he's an ass :@ ) and I spend most of my time at my boyfriend's apartment.

Tonight we're making tacos. :)

Ha, that's quite the lifestyle, Maddy. My dad went to Hawaii once, some years ago. I refused to go, as I prefer snowy weather and cold climate. If one of your roommates is a prick, talk about it with the others, and kick him out. At least there's solace at your boyfriend's house.

Personally, I tend to live in trailers, and in the kind of trailer parks where wolves and bears sometimes pay you a visit! I'll have the same problems in the next trailer park I'm moving to, the one up in Prince George, where people said they also get bears and wolves sometimes. I miss hearing howling of wolves, I have not heard them in quite a few months or some reason; the wildfires in BC must have pushed them farther north.

Anyway, since I will be moving soon, probably start unpacking today or tonight, I will be unavailable for up to two days or possibly more.

My dad was stationed out there, but my parents didn't want me having to switch schools since he'd be retiring from the military while I was in high school, so I stayed during the school year with my aunt and during the summer with my parents in Hawaii. It was nice, and sometimes in the wintertime there's snow on the Big Island (only at the very top of the mountain there, though). As far as my roommate situation goes, myself and my other roommate are plotting to make him leave as neither of us can stand him. The only problem is officially there's not much we can do if he refuses to leave - he signed a 12 month lease just the same as she and I did, so unless we can prove that there's illegal activity going on or something, I doubt we can get him kicked out.

Ah yes, bears and wolves. I live in the mountains of Virginia, in a teeny little dying coal town, so I am familiar. My dad, after retiring, worked nights as maintenance at an ATV resort during which he frequently had to chase off bears who wanted to get into trash.

Have fun packing. Having moved several times myself I must say I find it to be strangely relaxing to pack up everything.

I find the packing/unpacking process to be awful, myself. While I admit the only experience I have with it is moving to and from college for 5 years, it was still a fair amount of stuff that I had. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Ah, my dad is also former military, he was a lieutenant in the Polish communist army, then joined the KGB afterwards but got kicked out a week later, became a red agent and joined the communist party (my grandfather was also a member of the communist party even though he hated it), was a teacher for a while, then managed to flee Poland. He had a pretty crazy life. Your life also seems pretty adventurous!
Hm, if this lousy roommate cannot legally leave, make sure he feels he knows he's unwanted.

Ha, yeah, bears like their garbage. Which is why I'll be keeping my trash inside the little workshop at my next place, and hope for the best. I was thinking of storing charcoal or something, the scent of coals might keep the bears and raccoons away.

It'll be nice to leave Quesnel and go live in Price George. Quesnel is a dying place, and it's like a cult; if you get fired, no one wants to hire you. I can't even get hired at Walmart. So, it's time to leave. I have a feeling that the wildfires next time, will take out Quesnel, and if it does, I hope all the mills burn down.
