That's good to hear, Lask. I do enjoy your threads, even if I'm useless at joining in with them. I think the last I was on, outside of the cookie wars, was Daralt?

As in, Daralt, City of Sellswords?

You and Er Rill went on one goblin slaying rampage and then I abandoned the thread. Was it really that great?

I remember having this whole job/reputation system set up that I put very little thought into.

Duncan and shark hasn't been on for a long time.

Give them some time.

I know this will probably never happen considering you're really good about posting on time, but what if it was you?

That said, from what I can see Loaned Shark isn't immediately impacting anyone else, while Duncan is the only one who hasn't posted in a situation that is holding up several characters. But ultimately it is Angel's decision.

Loaned Shark should have his post up tonight, from what I understand. I feel bad for the likes of Sir Ducan, Quick5ilvr and Er Ril, whose disappearance is undoubtedly due to the fact that I'm not posting frequently enough, so they don't check back frequently enough. (I include Er Ril in the list because I'm aware he generally thrives in fast-paced roleplays.)

On the same note, it's quite sad that Venom isn't around anymore.

Ah yes, the Orcish Raid! I do believe I was a man on death row, was I not? I was really looking forward to that, I too do not recall what happened.

Haha, yeah, Ril and I messed up Daralt. He was John Black and I was Tivar the Exiled, if memory serves. I think we were the only people frequently posting on it, which I imagine is why you abandoned it, but we were certainly a dream team!

I remember being quite proud of the thought and effort I put into that goblin slaying mission.

I don't know how much you remember, but some goblins had slaughtered a farming family and occupied the land, which a noble asked you to clear out. And I'm not sure if you uncovered what really happened or not, but the noble had actually given the goblin leader weapons and coin so that they could kill and loot the family, and the noble could purchase the now-vacant land. You were just tying up a loose end.

I think Black actually killed the goblin leader before that information could be revealed.

Edit: Also Venom's absence does suck. He was one of the first people I ever roleplayed with who is still around today.

Black has a habit of killing plot-essential characters. In The Final Quest, he killed off the guy who was meant to lead us to the main plot point, which then turned to Laser's Ryle Emeraldian performing a resurrection ritual, only to take said plot-point-finder as a slave and hop on a boat, because apparently Laser decided the plot wasn't relevant to his character arc and instead he'd like to sail the seven seas. A small majority of the thread's characters also decided to join Ryle's voyage instead of sticking to the thread's plot itself.

The 'guy' in question is Cadmus Solar, for the record. And it was as they were going to board this boat that you joined Lasky. You were spying on them, and I think you were going to try and snipe them from afar, or at least the suspicion was there. Alas, you don't recall any of this.

Veliaf Ironfist was sleeping out in an abandoned house when those fools came along and disturbed his rest. He wasn't necessarily going to snipe them, he was just looking out the window to see what the hell they were doing.
