Story Reader Exchange is now having a re-submission policy. If you don’t re-subscribe between the 20th and the 30th of the month, every month, your story will be removed from the list. You may re-apply afterwards if you wish, but you must have a good reason why you did*’t re-apply when you were supposed to; otherwise, you can’t come back in. This month also includes a month where you must re-apply.
Thank you!

Bambooman! Your're back! *Hugtacklepounce*

Well some moron just spammed the original In Bad Company and made it hit the 2k post and locked it :(
I don't have the story saved on Microsoft Word since there is something wrong with it, so I sadly must confess none of my stories I've written on here are backed up. For now I'm just going to try and copy the original on to this thread and worry about rewriting laterif I do end up rewriting this story, which I might now do and go straight to writing the sequel.

Chapter 9: Meeting
Kargill entered the White Knight’s meeting room and took a seat beside Roven at the long mahogany table. He was still a little bit shaken up from the run-in with the Zamarokains. The room was filled with over two dozen White Knights, with Sir Amik Varze and Commander Lorad sitting at the end of the table.
“Well it looks like everyone is here,” said Lorad, addressing the table.
“First of all, I would like to name Kargill and Roven for their work on catching and apprehending the assassin, Garth. The two of you are hereby promoted to the rank of Major.” The room erupted into applause as Kargill and Roven rose to salute Sir Amik Varze.
“Thank you sir," they both replied simultaneously.
“Now to move onto business,” said Lorad, cutting into the applause. He waited until the room was silent before continuing. “We have recently learned some very disturbing information from when we invaded the assassin’s mind. The assassin, who’s name is Garth, has connections to some of the biggest crime lords in all of Runescape.”
“Excuse me sir, but are you talking about the Black Arm and the Phoenix gangs when you say crime lords?” Griff asked.
“He does have connections with the Black Arm and the Phoenix gangs, which is a good thing for us. Garth knows the locations of the two gangs’ headquarters, but I will get to that in a few minutes. When I said crime lords I was talking much bigger then the Black Arm and the Phoenix gangs. Garth was part of a crime ring known as the Underground.” He paused and took a long drink of water. “Are you okay Kargill?” Lorad asked.
“Yeah, I am fine,” replied Kargill. The truth was he was not fine. Kargill had just murdered a man. He sat back in his chair and tried to relax himself.

“Well if you are sure that you are fine,” replied Commander Lorad. “The Underground is not just your everyday thugs. These guys are assassins, murderers, slavers, smugglers; the worst type of people in Runescape. They are led by a man simply known as the Kingpin. We have found from Garth’s mind that they their main base of operations is in Burthrope, but they also have a smaller base in Varrok. We are going to be sending White Knights over their in a dual attempt with the Varrokian Guard to wipe out these crime rings."
"Excuse me Commander, but how is this Falador’s or the White Knight’s problem?” Roven asked. “I agree with you that the Underground must be stopped, but aren’t the Black Arm and the Phoenix gangs Varrok’s problem, not ours? We could be using our man power for much more productive reasons, like eliminating the Black Knights.”
“Roven, we all know your position on the Black Knights,” replied Commander Lorad. “You are letting the fact that because your parents were killed that your judgment is getting impaired. The Black Knights will be eliminated, but not without good reason and not without the support of our fellow kingdoms.”
