Next bit is coming soon.
Just a little announcment about the sequel. So far it is going to be titled 'Debt of Honor' unless I can come up with a better title. It will be coming out as soon as I get this epic fight scene up, and can copy and paste the next chapter or two following it.

Chapter 6: Undisputed
Garth stood up and threw off his black robes, revealing the armor he wore underneath. Garth had abandoned his dragonhide for something more suitable. He wore a tight fitting legs and body made from interlaced layers of hardened cloth, linens, and thin sheets of metal. It had the strength of Kevlar and allowed for great flexibility and movement. He then removed his hood, revealing a face that had been deeply scarred both physically and emotionally. His face showed absolutely no emotion. It had been shaped from well over twenty years of brutal training as well as having grown up and lived around death. Garth’s eyes were colder than even the highest peaks of White Wolf Mountain. His hair was dark red and jagged. Kargill and Roven were almost scared to look at him.
Garth reached down and drew two long, curved swords with a thick blade, the likes of which neither Kargill nor Roven had ever seen. The scimitar-like swords were both clear, but as Garth moved them they began to give off different colors depending on which direction the sun was reflecting off of them.
“Is that crystal?” Roven asked.
“These scimitars are made of a particularly rare type of metal. I like to call them lucent given their translucent color that changes in the sunlight.”
“This might be a little bit tougher than I thought,” said Kargill as he drew his weapons. Aside from his crystal sword, he had a metallic battle staff. The staff was relatively short and broad with jagged ends, making it a suitable one handed weapon. His father's black crystal lay imbedded in the center of the staff, which conducted and amplified his magical energy.
Roven began to circle around so that he and Kargill were on both sides of Garth. Roven was ducked behind his circular shield in a defensive stance; his long, broad sword glinting in the sun. Roven tilted his head back and let out his battle cry.
"This is for Falador!"

Roven dashed forward swung at Garth with a powerful overhead swing. Garth quickly rolled to the side and avoided the broad sword, leaving a deep scar in the earth. Roven turned to swing again, but Garth easily blocked the blow with his one scimitar while lashing out at with the other. Roven put up his shield at the last second and just barely managed to stop attack.
Garth moved to Roven’s side and let out a powerful kick to his ribs, making Roven cripple back in pain. Roven parried Garth’s scimitar as let out a failed stab, and then countered by punching Garth with his small, round shield. Garth slowly backed away from his opponent, wanting Roven to charge into his defenses; that was when the entire ground started to shake. It was like an earthquake was forming right under his feet.
“Barrage!” Kargill screamed as a great pillar of ice emerged from the ground and launched Garth into the air. Garth braced himself and rolled up into a ball as he fell. He managed to reduce the blow, but he still hit the earth hard. Roven was now right beside Garth. Garth locked up with Roven, his two scimitars against Roven’s broad sword and shield.
As Roven tried to push him back, Garth moved to the side and used Roven’s momentum to send Roven running right past him. Garth’s slashed out at Roven, cutting him across his shoulder blades. He yelled out in pain as he fell to one knee. Luckily, his thick armor managed to prevent the wound from being too severe. Garth did not have time to follow up on his attack. He jumped backwards as Kargill heaved his staff around in a horizontal arc.

Kargill raised his staff into the air and the ground once again began to shake and vibrate. A clump of earth rose up; contorting and conforming into a shape resembling a tidal wave. The earthen wave was sent hurling right at Garth, who used his scimitars to cut through the dirt and gravel. Before he could react, Roven came hurling at Garth like a wrecking ball. He tackled Garth and threw him to the ground like an All-Pro linebacker.
Roven swung his sword at Garth, who was still lying on his back. Garth rolled to the right and then to the left, narrowly dodging Roven’s attacks. The assassin did a backwards somersaulted into a handstand, gracefully landing back onto his feet. Garth stood there and began muttering something that neither Kargill nor Roven could hear.
“He is fast,” Roven said to Kargill as he moved closer to him.
“Not as fast as my magic.” Kargill lowered his staff and sent a large sphere of pure energy at Garth. Garth did not even flinch as the sphere got closer. The magical attack stopped a few feet away from Garth’s face, dissipating on an unseen force.
