“I’m still hung-over, try lecturing me later, yes? Until then, what we need to do, to get started?” he placed his face in his palm and sighed. With a student like this, he was in for a hell of a time teaching her.
“To start, I’d say we need about three ribcages that belong to wolves. The mountain to the north of here is a great place to search for wolves. I see you’re already armed, so go ahead.”
“And you will not be assisting me?”
“I have pressing matters to attend to here.” He said sarcastically while reclining in his chair and sipping his tea. Anastasia embarked to accomplish what he had ordered her. She wasn’t fond of his attitude, how he looked, or even how he decorated his house. Maybe after some drinks he would become a more likable person.
Though many would probably consider a job that consisted of little more than running around and slaughtering assorted creatures, and then taking them back to be turned into magical assistants capable of massive strength, mind, boggling agility, or any number of assorted abilities, amazing... Anastasia was mostly bored the entire time. She finally ended her shift and realized it was only in lessons after all the running that she would learn anything, since after she returned with the things he would open a book, and read to her the ingredients of another summoning pouch. She did**t intend to continue for very long, just until she was taught to use one that was capable of a lot. A creature that was powerful in combat, enjoyable to talk with, and with the ability to carry spare things for her if need be.
Cleaning the blood from her sword as the sun was just beginning to fall from the sky, Pikkupstix approached her slowly and calmly, again sipping on tea. “You preformed above my expectations. You were quick and very capable, and you never complained once about my tasks. Keep this up and you’ll be quite skilled in very little time. You’re dismissed for today.”
