Guthix requests an emergency meeting with some other characters in the league headquarters.

Guthix: I feel like something is seriously wrong.

Commissioner: You feel like it?

Guthix: It is a feeling.

Commissioner: You know, I can't just delay the games just because someone feels bad.

Superman: Rick and Morty are dead. We have no idea what happened.

Commissioner: They're missing, not dead. You don't know-

Guthix: Superman told me everything. About universes being deleted.

Commissioner: And?

Superman: He created the RuneScape universe. He knows more than you do!

Guthix: We need to investigate.

Superman: We already tried. We still have that device that watches the universes.

Guthix: I'm going out there. Delay the Multiverse Cup Final until I return.

Commissioner: You know I can't do that-

Superman: I think you can. I think this issue is a lot more important than the games.

Commissioner: But-

Darkseid: Just vote on it. Jeez.

Everyone except for the Commissioner votes in favour of delaying the games.

Commissioner: How will I explain this?

Superman: Just tell people it's training or whatever.

Commissioner: Not a good cover story but fine.

Guthix: Darkseid, are you willing to help?

Darkseid: Yeah, sure.

Guthix: No hard feelings for trouncing you in the Western Conference Final, man. Nothing personal. Just doing-

Darkseid: Yeah, I know. No need to apologize.

Superman: Obviously, whoever killed Rick and Morty must be pretty powerful and really, really smart. We need to bring out the big guns this time.

Commissioner: You don't even know tha-*sigh*

A team of Superman, Darkseid, Deadpool, Goku, Guthix, Thanos, and others was formed with an army of robots. The Commissioner announces the delay of the games, which makes sports fans and many players extremely upset.

Reporter: Universe #8,900 is in decay.

Superman: How many universes left?

Reporter: Approximately 11,400.

Superman: It's getting worse, and soon it will affect us. We have to go now.

Reporter: Once you step through this portal, you are committed. You can't blame anyone if you die. You took the risk.

Darkseid: Yeah, we get it.

Deadpool: This is one small step for us, one big step for fictional characters.

The team enters the portal through a spaceship.

Darkseid: I have put up a reality barrier around us. The logic of any universe we visit should not affect us. We can interact with it, but it can't interact with us. This should stop the decay from reaching us.

Deadpool: But we can still talk to people, right?

Darkseid: If we find them, yeah.

Guthix: Permission to scan for life.

Superman: Yeah.

Guthix: Sending out drones. Full universe scan.

Superman: Whoever is doing this is intelligent. The universes are being deleted faster now that Rick and Morty are dead. They obviously killed Rick and Morty to cover their tracks.

Thanos: We can't underestimate them. Killing Rick and Morty is no easy task, despite how silly they look.

Deadpool: And they did it just like that. Wow.

Thanos: But why delete everything? What kind of villain wants that?

Darkseid: A new order of existence. It's not entirely crazy. I suspect the villains are on my level. That's why I'm here. Maybe they're after me. I have a lot of enemies. Maybe this is just a revenge plot.

Superman: I can say the same thing. Lots of enemies, some I've never met face to face.

Guthix: Lucky me. My only enemies live in RuneScape, and they can't do this.

Superman: You never know. Maybe they teamed up or something like that.

Thanos: But I've never heard of someone wanting to delete everything. Usually it's just conquest.

Deadpool: One way to find out.

*BEEP**BEEP*

Guthix: Life detected. In that galaxy over there.

The spaceship teleports over there.

Batman: Drones have been deployed onto that red planet.

Thanos: I'll go-

Superman: Not yet. Just for safety. Let them scout it out first.

The planet was entirely covered in red sand, with a few ruins of a dead civilization. The drones return after a few minutes.

Guthix: Negative. No life. The drones will now search the green planet.

The green planet was covered by green gases and green rocks.

Guthix: Negative. Time for the blue planet.

Thanos lets out a loud yawn.

Thanos: Cowards. We're here. Why not just come out and fight us?

Superman: We don't even know what we're supposed to fight. We need to find life and get some information.

Darkseid: It is also possible that we're not fighting a physical entity. Our enemy may be a concept. Some kind of spirit.

Deadpool: Like a psychological thriller. Yeah, that's totally not cliché.

Superman: What the heck?!?!

Deadpool: What? Did you see a ghost?

Superman: Kind of. That blue planet...looks like Earth!

Darkseid: Is this some kind of troll?

Guthix: Either way, we've found life. Let's go....

Robot: The sun takes the shape of a red crescent, indicating significant decay. The planet's average temperature is 22.6°C. Humidity at 75%.

Superman: How long has it been like this?

Robot: About 3 months. Humanoid organisms detected. About 1,000 of them.

Darkseid: Everyone, put on this reality bracelet. It'll protect you from the decay.

Deadpool: That's stupid, they'll just-

Darkseid: Once you put it on, the barrier sticks. Even if it's destroyed, the barrier stays.

Deadpool: Alright, that's more like it. Let's go!

Superman: Thanks, I really owe you one.

Darkseid: No need to thank me. I'm not doing this for you. Make no mistake, we will become enemies again after this farce.

Guthix: But we still really appreciate it.

The group lands on a clone of planet Earth. They arrive in the White House.

30 robots carried laser guns around the group to protect them.

Robot: In here. Clear.

They find an injured old man lying on the side of a desk.

Superman: We're here to help. Can you speak?

Man: Uh...yeah...

Superman: Can you tell us what happened here? What destroyed your world?

The robots heal the man.

Man: Who are...?

Superman: We are the Justice League. Well, and others. We're here to gather information on a new threat and possibly save your world, if possible. But we need your help. You need to tell us what happened here.

The man put on his glasses.

Man: It happened suddenly. Everything was normal, then suddenly people turned into zombies. Everything started falling apart. Earthquakes, buildings...

Superman: Anything else?

Man: Well, I can point you to some news reports.

He hands out some rusty newspapers.

Robot: DNA was altered. Water became poison. Physics fell apart.

Superman: So the universe fell apart, like how a computer program gets bugged and crashes. Did you come into contact with any aliens before this happened?

Man: No, at least not that I'm aware of.

Robot: No mention of aliens in the reports.

The group watched some videos on a computer.

Darkseid: So, it just happened. Out of nowhere. Nowhere to run, no way to fight back.

Man: Yes.

Thanos: Ughh...this is so stupid.

Deadpool: I have to agree. Doesn't look like we'll get a fight.

Superman: We'll take your blood sample and some other samples of everything. Maybe we'll figure it out from there.

The robot took a sample of the man's blood.

Superman: We might not be able to save you, but when this is over, we will come back and rebuild this universe. You have my promise.

Man: OK. I trust you.

The group went back to the spaceship to analyze the samples.

Guthix: Well, that went by smoothly.

Superman: But we have to be careful. Remember, Rick and Morty died somewhere out here.

Darkseid: So they might be watching us now.

Deadpool: But where...?

Robot: I have not detected any signs of spying.

Guthix: We may have gotten lucky here. They didn't know we're here.

Goky: I don't think it'll be that easy...

Robot: I have analyzed the air, blood, soil, and water samples. All show signs of decay. Molecular structure corrupted.

Superman: So it's random, and it's everywhere. It spreads from universe to universe.

Deadpool: And we still don't know where it comes from.

Superman: But now we kind of know how to detect it. But how is it spreading across universes...? Darkseid, can you put up reality barriers around every universe? Seal up those black holes?

Darkseid: I can. It will take some time.

Guthix: How long?

Darkseid: I don't know.

Deadpool: Need help?

Darkseid: No.

Superman: We'll return back home once he finishes that. Good job, everyone.

Deadpool: Well, that was quite the field trip.

Darkseid: It's done. Took a lot of tinkering, but I got it.

Superman: Put up reality barriers around all remaining healthy universes. Make sure you seal up every little worm hole. We can't afford even a single leak.

Darkseid: I already know that, and it's easier said than done, but that's why I'm here...

Robot: The remaining 11,233 universes have been successfully sealed.

The spaceship returns home.

Guthix: Superman, can I speak to you in private?

The two go into a private room.

Guthix: What if Darkseid is the one behind this? Don't you think this is all a little too easy?

Superman: I thought the same thing, but we have no evidence. I've watched him. He looks like he genuinely doesn't know what's going on.

Guthix: Well, keep an eye. He's the only villain who could be capable of this.

Superman: Yeah.

The two leave and join the rest of the group.

Commissioner: So...did you enjoy your little trip?

Guthix: No need to be condescending.

Commissioner: I was just asking a honest question for a honest person.

Guthix: We saw another universe fall. What's there to enjoy?

Superman: Darkseid has put up reality barriers on the remaining universes, so we should be safe. I will keep monitoring the situation here.

Deadpool: I think I'll stay here, too. Looks fun.

Commissioner: So...are we good to go, then? The final?

Guthix: Yeah, whatever.

Commissioner: I shall schedule Game 1 for June 20. Get some rest, you'll need it!

Guthix: Games are the only things that matter to you?

Commissioner: And to you, too? You do want the Cup, right?

Guthix: Yeah, but not at the expense of our safety.

Commissioner: You had your vote and you had your little trip. It has been taken care of and now we are safe. Now you can get back to your life, isn't that what you want?

Guthix: Yeah, I just don't like your attitude.

BIG STOP BY GUTHIX ON HARUHI! REBOUND, SAITAMA HIT THE POST! THEN NASU HIT THE CROSSBAR! DIVING STOP!

SARADOMIN ON A BREAKAWAY, STOPPED BY LUFFY! REBOUND! ZAMORAK CAN'T FINISH! BIG PENALTY TO HARUHI FOR HOLDING! RUNESCAPE'S FIRST POWERPLAY!

The dangerous 5-on-3 powerplay for the SOS Brigade. Two perfect shots, Saitama and Haruhi Suzumiya. Haruhi gets the face-off. Back to Saitama. He looks, fakes a shot. Back to Haruhi. Saradomin dives, recovers. Back to Saitama. Saradomin lunges, tries to steal the puck.

Back to Haruhi! Alice swings and loses her stick! Back to Saitama! Then behind the net for Haruhi! PASS OUT FRONT, STOPPED BY GUTHIX! ROBS SAITAMA WITH HIS FINGER!
SARADOMIN BACKHANDS, CLEARS!

Yuki Nagato picks it up! PICKPOCKETED! ALICE SHORT-HANDED SHOOTS AND LUFFY MAKES THE SAVE! PENALTY EXPIRES!

Akame, the game winner in the 10th overtime last game for the SOS Brigade, has the puck behind the net. Alice tries to flush her out and she does. Long pass to Madoka. To Homura. She shoots, blocker save by Guthix.

On the power play, 4-on-3, Saradomin is out for cross-checking. Haruhi and Yuki are out for fighting. Zamorak centres, Sliske shoots. Save by Luffy! CHARGING OUT OF THE PENALTY BOX, HARUHI SHOOTS! HIT THE POST! REBOUND, YUKI HIT THE CROSSBAR! BIG FIGHT! ANOTHER FIGHT BETWEEN SARADOMIN AND HARUHI! WOW! WOW! WOW!

HARUHI STEALS IT FROM SARADOMIN! BREAKAWAY! SCORES!

Guthix has no idea what just happened. He complains to the referees. It's no use.
