Goku ignores him and drives through the gate. He finds a huge traffic jam just outside of the city.
Goku: We're walking.
Superman: Where?
Goku: Just go!
The group runs out into the forest. Flying insects attack them.
Thanos: Bad idea!
They try to shoot the insects.
Homura: Just do this!
She sprays the cure gas all over them. The insects back off.
The people get out of their cars like zombies and run towards the group. They transform into strange beasts.
Superman: You've got to be kidding me!
*GUNFIRE*
Officer: Run! Hurry!
The group soon find themselves at the edge of a cliff. The strange beasts have them cornered.
Misaka: This was a mistake. Honestly, we're about to die for nothing!
The spaceship suddenly appears behind them and open its doors.
Rick: GET IN HERE! NOW!
The group rushes in while the ship provides cover fire. A giant spider manages to jump onto Madoka.
Madoka: HELP!
Homura shoots the spider, and then carries her onboard. Another spider manages to squeeze in before the door closes.
Computer: Eliminating intruder.
An electric barrier surrounds and kills the spider. The computer then places it into a glass container and burns it. The ship then jumps into space.
Homura: So what is going on here?
Morty: Well, first off, you should thank us. Secondly, we don't know. It looks like the virus has finally shown its true powers.
Alien: This may have been a trap to lure you out into the real world.
Misaka: How could they know who we are?
Alien: I think that Corona-Chan is using the eyes and ears of every infected lifeform to watch the Earth. You have a traitor in your midst. She knows who you are because one of you has been infected.
Superman: That's impossible. We're all protected.
Alien: Well, you have a traitor who has not been infected.
Batman: Come on, Thanos and Darkseid. Just confess.
Thanos: Lol?
Darkseid: Ridiculous.
