Wise Old Man: Santa Claus really needed to win the last primary. He was 1 delegate behind before that, and he won by 1 delegate to tie it up. This means that we can't call the nominee. This election is going to overtime! A brokered convention is coming up for Homer and Santa!

Reimu wins the primary vote by a lot. Based on these numbers, she could win the general election.

Lex drops out of the race with 14,000,000 donors, $0 in campaign money left, and endorses no one. Laura drops out with 0 donors, $0, and endorses no one.

Guthix finishes with 12,000,000 donors, $0 in campaign money left, and he has not made an endorsement. Junko Enoshima finishes with 10,400,000 donors, $0 left, and she endorses no one. Shuang Guo and Empress Long Cheng both finish with 10,200,000 donors, $0 left, and they endorse no one.

King Roald: Keep in mind that Guthix has gone missing for a month. This may have affected his campaign. Saradomin campaigned in his place but people are very worried.

Obviously, you don't want to vote for someone who might be dead. So maybe that brought down his voter support.

As expected, strong support for Empress Long Cheng and Shuang Guo in Chinese and anime universes, but it wasn't enough to catch up to Homer and Santa.

Chairman: I did what you told me to do. But why did you set the magic number down to 9,043?

Lex: A good villain knows when to give up. It's over. There's no point in continuing. The people have clearly spoken.

Chairman: Why not just have a brokered convention?

Lex: There's no way the people would accept that. We can't rig the election so badly that everyone walks away and votes Democrat. I don't want to destroy conservatives forever.

I may be a villain, but even I have my limits.

Chairman: Then why didn't you just drop out?

Lex: I had to pretend to keep fighting. Otherwise, I would look weak.
So, it's over. Reimu is the nominee. We will accept that. Besides, we have much a bigger problem to deal with.

This coronavirus could be the world ender. And without humans to imagine us, we all die as well. Any news from the meetings?

Chairman: Guthix and his buddies are hiding in the woods somewhere in China. They have sent some evidence that this coronavirus is not just a virus. Some mice infected with it were eating each other, like zombies.

Lex: That happens all the time. That's not evidence.

Chairman: That's our only lead. That, and the power surge in the Space Station and the guy who passed out.

Lex: That's literally nothing. The coronavirus does not have to be something special to end the human race. A regular virus born on Earth is enough. Humans are that weak.

Although, the timing is suspicious. The coronavirus broke out around the same time that we are holding our elections.

If someone wanted to stop us from forming a government, now is the time.

Chairman: Also, all 9 planets are aligned in 2020.

Lex: The coronavirus has to infect fictional universes.

Normally, viruses can only infect the real world. They cannot travel across dimensions.

We need to bring a coronavirus sample over to our world. If we can do that, this is the proof that the coronavirus is not an ordinary virus. It came from our world.

If we can't bring it over, then it's just a normal virus. This is the experiment. Tell them to do that.

Chairman: But how do we bring it over? Guthix's mind was uploaded onto the Internet and then it was downloaded by an empty brain. Obviously, we can't do that with viruses.

Lex: Open a small portal or something.

Chairman: We don't know how to do that.

Lex: Does Guthix have the virus? Maybe it'll be attached onto his mind. Ask them about it, and if he does have the virus, bring him back here and test him again.

Chairman: I'll do that. *hangs up phone*

*phone rings*

Chairman: Yeah?

Laura: So it happened. Now what?

Chairman: It's over. You can go home now. Your work is done.

Laura: I've done my part. Now how are you going to repay me?

Chairman: What do you want?

Laura: Simple. Kill Kamijou Touma. No one in my home universe can kill him, so maybe your people can.

Chairman: We are not supposed to interfere with other universes, but, we'll see what we can do.

Monokuma: So...how do you feel?

Wise Old Man: Welcome to the RuneScape News Network. We have breaking news. The vice president picks have been chosen. Before we watch, let's go over the rules for the brokered convention.

The Democratic-Liberal Committee has announced the use of "super delegates", who are registered party members. They will vote for either Homer or Santa. There will be a debate, and then several rounds of voting until the magic number of 9,043 delegates is reached.
The first one to get 9,043 wins the nomination.

All of this will be decided in the Democratic-Liberal Convention in a few months.
Now you will understand what Homer and Santa are doing right now.

Homer: Hello, my fellow citizens. It is with great honour that I present my vice president candidate. You may not know her, but she's very famous in the Chinese and anime universes.
We have a shared vision on how to govern, and shared ideas on capitalism, the free market, education, and health care. Staying true to my commitment to diversity, I have chosen a woman.

Please welcome Empress Long Cheng!

Wise Old Man: Santa will not be disqualified for having less delegates than Homer after the vice president picks. He needed to tie Homer at the end of the elections to force a brokered convention. He did not need to tie Homer after the picks were made.

That convention and the vice president picks are all part of the overtime period.

King Roald: Here's the updated delegate count. This will not change until June. Everyone else is irrelevant.

- Episode 10: Quarantine -

~ March 26, 2020 ~

After a while of wandering around the countryside, Guthix finally found the city of Yichang.
He knocks on someone's door.

Shopkeeper: What's the secret handshake?

Guthix does a fist bump and holds out three fingers. He then performs the Old School RuneScape dance emote.

Shopkeeper: Welcome in, Guthix.

The shopkeeper lets Rick and Morty know about the good news.

Rick: Good. Let's bring him back.

Zeus: Wait. Before we do that. It seems that Superman and the Justice League are not convinced by the evidence given to them.

Rick: Well, they were eating each other. What-

Zeus: Mice do that all the time. It means nothing. If you want real evidence, you need to do this experiment. Inject the coronavirus into Guthix's real life body. I'm not kidding.

If this virus is something beyond that of a normal virus, it could transfer over to our world.
As you know, normal viruses cannot travel between the real and fictional realms.

Rick: He may already be infected anyways, but we'll do it.

Shopkeeper: It's for the greater good. We need to infect you before you come back.

The shopkeeper injects a sample of the coronavirus into the bloodstream.

Morty: Now, the only way for the virus to travel with Guthix is through his consciousness.

Guthix: Yeah, I understand.

He is then placed in front of a computer. His mind is uploaded onto the Internet, and from there, it is downloaded into his original fictional body, which is in the Multiverse League Headquarters. This process takes about 6 hours.

Rick: Phew. I thought for sure the police would step in at the last minute.

Morty: So, how are you feeling?

Guthix: It's good to be home.

Rick: What about the others?

Guthix: Haven't heard from them. They either died or have been arrested.

Rick: OK. The coronavirus was in your real life body. Now, we need to test you here.

Guthix is placed in a quarantine room. He gives Morty a sample of his green blood. Morty places it in a test kit.

After a few minutes, the liquid in the test kit changed from blue to red.
Guthix has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Rick: Impossible.

Zeus: Like we said, normal viruses can't travel between dimensions. Yet this one can.

Morty: OK, don't panic. Guthix, I need you to stay in the quarantine room. I'm sorry.

Guthix: It's fine.

~ March 27, 2020 ~

12:00 PM

An emergency meeting is held.

Superman: Are you sure your test kit is accurate? You didn't just-

Rick: I'm sure. We used a coronavirus test kit.

Morty: Guthix has already been placed in quarantine.

Superman: How do you know the virus didn't spread over to you?

Morty: We trapped him in the quarantine room. We disposed of his blood right after testing it. We didn't touch it.

Zeus: You believe what you see. This is not an ordinary virus. This is a serious matter.
We could be looking at the end of mankind...and other gender kind.

Deadpool: But what can we do about it? It's your call, buddy.

Superman thinks for a moment.

Superman: Call up all the major characters. They have a right to know. Covering this up will only hurt us.

Deadpool: But Thanos and Darkseid-

Superman: They'll find out. There's no point in hiding it from them.
It would be a good idea to stop all the campaigns until we can fix this.

Rick: And in the worst case scenario, we would have to go to the real world...

Zeus: We really don't want to do that. It will mess everything up...

Wise Old Man: Welcome to RuneScape News! For our top stories, the entire election process is suspended!

King Roald: That's right! The league is cancelling everything until further notice. It is the coronavirus emergency.

Wise Old Man: In other news, Kamijou Touma has been found dead in his apartment. The police suspect that it's food poisoning, but this is just a guess.

King Roald: Junko Enoshima has also mysteriously died, and her Monokuma army has been shut down. We think that someone hacked into her robots and then killed her.

Wise Old Man: Two very suspicious deaths at the same time this coronavirus emergency came up. Coincidence? Probably not. Maybe they knew something that we shouldn't know.

King Roald: The most powerful characters are invited to attend a general meeting to discuss this situation. We will keep you updated! Be sure to like and subscribe!

The Multiverse League Headquarters.
Many characters, including Madoka Kaname, Homura Akemi, Misaka Mikoto, Reimu Hakurei, Thanos, and Darkseid are here for the meeting.

Thanos: So it's not a hoax after all. Assuming that you didn't just fake the test.

Superman: I know Rick and Morty. They don't lie about these kind of things. Look, I know that we've had our differences...

Darkseid: It's fine. We are willing to put them aside for our survival.

Thanos: This better be legit, though.

Rick: It is. We have placed Guthix in quarantine. The incubation period is 14 days.
Obviously, for safety reasons, I can't show you his test results.

Reimu: I'm on board. If I'm going to be the next president, I can get started now.

Zeus: That's great! Thank you all for coming! But is there a plan?

Superman: Well, first of all, we need to figure out how to kill this virus. And then see if that works in the real world.

Deadpool: We are hoping it'll be something that exists in the real world, so we can just drop a hint to the scientists over there, and they can help themselves.

Superman: No one wants to go into the real world. It would be chaos. It would destroy the natural real world balance.

Rick: It is possible that this virus is trying to bait us into coming over.

Morty: We haven't seen that yet, but we think it will happen soon.

Rick: Look, there's no way this is going to stop at the flu.
