I read it... and I don't see skrae as a protagonist or identifiable in any way. Why? He ate a child. No no, read that again. He ate a child because the child tasted good....!?!?!?!?!?! WHAT?!?!?! AND YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY WITH THIS GUY?!?!?!
On another note you were doing good up until you tried to make skrae identifiable. In my opinion - bad mistake
good writing otherwise

First off, I want to thank everyone that commented and helped keep this story alive while I was gone.
I'm back, at least for the time being, and thinking about resuming where I left off. I was rushed to finish the story before summer ended back when I initially started writing this two years ago, and would definitely like to go back and rewrite certain parts and get some more character development in before getting into the action.
I'll worry about that later, though. For now I'm planning on resuming work on this story and once I'm done going back and fixing it up a bit, as well as finally writing the long awaited rewrite/sequel/spinoff(it's complicated) to In Bad Company, the first prose story I ever wrote way back in 2007. So yeah, stayed tuned.
