I have recently been told that. I am easing into my own writing style still, I just can't seem to give my chapters that extra stretch, they are basically any time there is a cliff hanger and, more recently, a scene change.
Thanks for the advice though, it is, as always, much appreciated.

also, anotehr side note, i try not to give my not-super-powerful characters rune weaponry, as there is very little more powerful than that and dragon. For example, in my stories, a dragon weapon is EXTREMELY rare and powerful, and rune weapons can only be bought by the very wealthy, and most powerful of organized guards.
In fact, i give the Valdoorian army, which is very powerful, steel weaponry. but thats just my opinion =).
