((I finally have two days off of work, so now I can finally sit down! xD))

As the silence settled in the elevator car, Anais studied her reflection in the metal doors. She stood only a few inches taller than Christian, her pale skin a stark contrast to his sunny tan. Anais couldn't help but think to herself that if Christian was only a bit shorter, they would be practically polar opposites.

As the elevator ride came to an end, Christian spoke up from beside her. He asked her what she would get to eat, naming off a few things he might eat himself. Anais mentally listened to her stomach, reading the gentle vibes it was giving off to her. Spaghetti sounded good, or even just a grilled cheese with tomato soup... "Honestly, not sure. Depends on what they have out," she mused as the doors opened, her legs stepping out almost of their own accord. "It almost seems like you can find anything these days on the buffet line."

Anais led them through the lobby and to the front doors, pushing them open with her left hand. Holding it open, she passed through, keeping her grip on the push-bar to hold it for Christian to follow.

((Bio on the previous page is accepted! I know how both of you feel, I used to RP aaaall the time, and now I work everyday and when I get home I just pass out :/))

"Hey thanks!" Christian said, walking through the doors into the dining hall. It was a huge expansive two story area in the bottom portion of the University Center. Foods from all over the world were made, and while they weren't five star quality; they were pretty good, and most college students would say it's some of the best cafeteria food.

Christian hit up the salad bar first, making a light spinach salad before heading off and grabbing a couple of slices of pizza, as well as making a quick stop at the Chinese area to grab some chicken lo mein. ~That should probably do for now...~ He thought, turning to look for Anais.

At the far end of the cafeteria Lucy sat. She was still relatively new, so she hasn't really met many friends yet. And admittedly, she was too timid to approach people herself. But she didn't always mind the alone time either.

Even though her meal had been finished long ago, Lucy remained at her table with her sketchbook out. People watching was always one of her favorite activities. And it was always good practice for drawing the human figure. She watched the people interact and sketched the ones she found interesting. She couldn't help but wonder what their own lives were like and often made up stories for the people she drew. "A few more minutes of this", she thought,"And then I should probably get to studying."

Anais followed slightly behind Christian as they entered the dining hall, veering off to the side as she scanned the lines for anything that looked appetizing. Towards the back of the hall, she could see more American choices - pizza, burgers, hot dogs - and various other ethnic options that most college-age students loved to binge on. A salad bar nearby held various types of lettuce and salad toppings including fruits, cottage cheese, cheeses, eggs, and others, wrapping around to include a stretch that had puddings, jellos, and applesauce.

Wandering slightly as she grabbed a plate from a nearby rack, Anais browsed for a bit and selected various options until she felt she had enough. Looking around for Christian, she didn't immediately see him in the area and decided to find a seat. Moving from the food area, she headed for the seating off to the sides.

As she wove between tables, the tall fourth-year found herself engulfed in students beginning their year and deciding to start it off by flooding the dining hall the first chance they got. Barely any tables were open, and most that were open were along the wall towards the back and were half-booth/half-table. Anais selected one such table toward the far end of the dining hall situated near a young girl bent over a sketchbook. Taking a seat, she put down her plate, filled with a grilled cheese sandwich, a small cup of tomato soup, and a chicken patty with a small dollop of mustard on the side.

As Anais looked for her companion, her eyes fell on the girl nearby. She was very small in comparison to herself, with dark hair and a sweeping layer of bangs across her forehead. She looked quite young, Anais noted, but she couldn't shake the feeling that the girl was familiar. Frowning slightly, Anais turned her head back to the food area, finally spotting Christian and raising her hand to signal him over.
