It has come to my attention (thanks Rigg) that the companion thread to "The Word!" is not showing up in a forum search since its recent move to the new "Clan Home" location. That move has also changed its quick-find code of course, which results in the thread disappearing from peoples' profiles.
However, you can re-establish contact with the chatting writing community at 90-91-160-55671383 (or better yet, join the in-game discussions under my name). There are usually a number of writers on at all times.
Thanks very much!

Thankee Dreameh.
*spots a typo*
"...in peoples' profiles."
Since "people" is the plural form, the apostrophe is place before the "s".
"...in people's profiles."
Grammar lessons ftw!!
Sorry for the correction, I couldn't help myself. :D

Okay! Finally got around to reading your pieces. I know taking my time wasn't an issue. Phht, it's not like this is going to max out any time soon, eh?
First off, I really liked the cat one. You have this ability to just take a topic and twist it in ways no one else can. Gawd, but it's awesome.
The first one, your look on the Apocalypse. Loved it. Especially the low table look of things. Just great.
Really, though, I just couldn't get into the reverent one. Mind you, once it goes into poem form, I can't read a lot. Eyes just can't read it... it's weird.
Still, I think you deserved a higher score than the one you got. I told Draken that I'm going in with higher scores than you. He pretty much started crying and asking what's wrong with the world. Now he refuses to read anything I write, in fear that I actually have improved XD

Leb, thanks for your apostrophe-spotting. You can proof-read for me any time.
DS, you *have* improved: quite considerably. But if young Master Draken sheds a tear for my comparable downfall, then I'd better up my game. Thanks for your kind words on the cat one. I had fun with that, and I agree (as did Craddock) that the Revenant one was the weakest. Fair enough.
Unfortunately, I've used verse for my final entry too. But seeing as you asked so nicely to see it, here it comes...

Some years ago in fair Varrock I visited the square.
I went to get my fortune told by the gypsy there.
I crossed her palm with a golden coin and settled on the stool
And said to Aris, "Tell me straight. Don't make of me a fool."
She gazed into her crystal ball with showmanship-like flair
But suddenly her colour drained and a chill was in the air.
"I see," she whispered, cold as ice, "an apocalyptic sight."
"Wizards clustered, chanting loud, intoning in the night."
"Delrith!" she screamed, leaping up, shivering to the core.
"Risen again among the stones. Summoned here once more!"
I sprang up from my seat in fear. "How are we to fight?"
"Wally's sword," the hag replied. "The mighty Silverlight."
"Sir Prysin has it locked away but this battle can be won."
"Retrieve the sword for you must be Varrock's new champion."
"Beware, this demon cannot be slain. Banish him, you must."
"Learn this verse to chant when he is kneeling in the dust."
So armed with knowledge and the sword, I made my nervous way
To the accursed circle where the scarlett demon lay.
Springing from behind a stone, I held the great sword high
And with the strength of heroes past, gave a valiant cry.
The wizards all recoiled as one, while Delrith took my blows
Then staggering unto the earth, I chanted 'ere he rose.
Fading fast from mortal plane, he fixed me with his gaze.
Piercing me with mind so foul, he uttered but one phrase:
"You dare thwart me and my Lord's plans amid this evil henge."
"You shall be our champion when we come for sweet revenge!"

Ach! Verse! NOOOO!!!
Kidding, kidding. I read it and I like it. Nice to see a rhyming scheme in a poem, for once XD I think Roshie had one, but that's it.
A solid entry and good luck, mate!
Also, I may be making the 29th. Things have changed.

Thanks English and DS!
YOu might be making the 29th instead, DS? Then I have two questions...
1) Would you like to adopt Lebraun as your guest because he was assigned to you before me?
2) I don't think I have any other questions after all.
So yeah, err, let me know about that a.s.a.p. AWESOME to kniw we might be competing together though. I'll definitely keep my fingers crossed for this!
