Hey Logan does the story have to strictly be runescape, or a life experience, or can it be a fictional story we made up.Thanks for giving me adive, although I didn't use to write in present tense a lot, I used to write in past tense. Take a look at my very old stories on this thread and you'll see. But, it seems like writing in present tense make it seems like I am actually writing correctly, lol. Ah, so it can be related to Runescape, but that still doesn't answer my question. Can it be made up and totally different from runescape and a life experience. Also, I checked out Shafts Imaginations again. I found an error in one of your stories Logan if you want to check it out.The Student become the Teacher for that one honorable second, hopefully. :P Time4Rants RIP Never Forget! 2010-2013, In Memory of Old Timer: ""I'm a doctor, not a spiritual medium!" It can be about anything you like, so long as it doesn't involve characters or ideas which are taken from any kind of media (I.E., you can't rip off a show or book or game, etc).
Otherwise, do what you like.
Also, I will check out what you posted on Shafts of Imagination in a moment. If you found an error, thanks for taking the time to point it out. =]

Dead Man's March
by R Quote
It was as if time had slowed. He lied painfully on the coarse dirt in the courtyard, with laboured breath, in too much pain to even move a limb. Three long, bloody gashes crossed his chest, sizzling with demonic poison. Far above him, in the north-western tower, the smoke was still thick as the revenant demon rose from it, like a ghost ship out of the mist. Dust and stones were falling across the entire courtyard, bombarding the surprised combatants and himself. As his more useful senses returned, he quickly attempted to stand back up. He gasped in pain as a rock strafed his shoulder, clipping him back to the ground. The combatants, both expeditionary and dark warrior alike fled under the burning gaze of the demon. And then it saw Him. It flaps it's wings, clearing away the wisps of smoke remaining away, revealing the big, crumbling hole in the tower. It floats down to the courtyard and lands with a thunderous smash. The last few of the others remaining flee in panic, witht he exception of one woman, clad in fine, steel chainmail. She rushed over to Him, firing off a small bolt at the demon with her crossbow. It bounced harmlessly off the demon's sturdy, etheral skin. With a swipe of it's tail, it whipped her into the wall. Dust and plaster dropped like dandruff from the generations-old wall as she hit it with great force. Two more, a cyan-haired blue mage and a monk rushed over to her, flinging spells at the demon to distract it from Him as well as keep it at bay. It recoiled as the thunderous blasts of arcane energy hit it. They hooked an arm each under her arms and dragged her into safety. The demon, recovered from the magic attacks, produces a great, beastly roar from its ghastly maw. The light from the moon dampened and the ancient, black walls turned even darker. As the last echoes fade away, the demon focused its attention on Him. He was alone now. He climbed slowly into standing position and staggered over to a pile of crates.

He gritted his teeth and drew his sword slowly. In the sudden silence the scrape of the sword was very loud indeed.
And then, with a shout, he charged the demon for one last, desperate attempt. The demon raised it's terrible claws and with a mighty roar brought them down upon him. It missed, but only barely. The ground shook under the mighty blow and He staggered for a moment, but quickly recovered his footing. He dodged past the demon's second swipe and lowered his sword for a stab. With a desperate cry, he plunged it into the demon's chest, and through it's blackened heart. A bone-chilling howl was heard across the whole of the Wilderness before the demon collapsed, quite dead. He stood by it's corpse for a while before realizing that it's over. He staggered towards the double doors, and into the hallway. The Dark Warriors, fearsome fighters known by all on Gielinor, poked their heads out from doorways and from behind furniture, cautiously observing Him. He stumbled down the hallway, with little care or worry about the warriors. He stood at the gate for a while, gazing out over the Wilderness, hoping to catch a glance of the others.
There was nothing. Just the charred ground and the ashes, with the ocassional dead tree. As he crossed the bridge hanging across the deep, murky moat, he looked down on the dirt and saw a great many footprints. His gaze followed one particular group of footprints leading north. He shrugged, and trudged uneasily and with labored breath along the tracks. North, into the Wilderness.
'Is my mind playing tricks on me?', he wondered aloud, as the vision materialized around him. All around him marched the legions of the damned, adventurers, soldiers and inhabitants who had died violently in these damned lands. His mind feeble from the loss of blood, the demon's corrupting poison and thirst, he fell. As his body hit the ground, he stopped for a moment to stare gloomily at it, before he marched on with them.
Into the realm of the dead.

I see a few places that could have been better, but I'll hear Logans review of it first.
Edit: Damn, I think we need more words synonimous with "stagger" and "stumble".
Reply to the one below:
Hmm, I dont think they'll fit very well in.
