After the mob had cleared Corugi took Diango back inside and decided to ask about his gold. “The gold of the Corugi!” Diango shouted with surprise and shock. “Where have I left the Gold of the Corugi!?”
“You mean you don't remember?” Corugi asked, he was starting to get a little upset.
“I am sorry, oh Holy one,“ Diango continued sadly. “I put your gold away safely, but I can't remember where it is! Do you want me to punish myself?”
Corugi contemplated this for a while, but decided against it. Diango seemed a bit unhealthy at the moment, and he needed him alive to spread the good word throughout the kingdom.
“No, your punishment shall be put off until later. Now leave me alone, I need to think.”
With a bow, Diango quietly left Corugi to his thoughts.
“The gold is not on him, and it's not buried in the marketplace... Maybe one of his relatives has it? Impossible. They would have offered it to me as soon as Diango told them to give me all their gold and silver.”
For hours he thought, schemed and plotted. He came up with some interesting ideas to take over the world, and a really nice recipe for apple pie, but he was no closer to finding his money than he was yesterday.
Reluctantly, our holy Saviour came to the conclusion that his gold might be lost.
Lost like some ancient treasure, Forever hidden in some dungeon filled with traps and poisonous bugs. Maybe an expedition of archaeologists would dig it up five thousand years later...
“Or right now!" Corugi shouted and jumped up from his chair. The chair quickly scurried away, but Corugi paid no attention to it. He called out for Diango, and the shaky man quickly entered the room. “Yes, oh Holy master? How can I serve you today?”
“Diango, we are going for a walk!”
“A walk, master? To where?”
“To the Museum of Varrock!” Corugi shouted while already opening the big doors of Draynor Manor.
If Diango was surprised he showed no signs of it.”Yes, master. To the museum.”

Varrock was busy as usual. Beggars and scammers tried to get their hands on people's gold. Pickpockets and thieves then stole it from the scammers only to get beaten up by policing knights and guardsmen who then spend the gold they took in the local pub.
Varrock was a place that smelled like dogs and deep fried food, a place where people would get into fights over almost anything.
A real city.
Corugi and Diango entered at the west gate, and were instantly greeted by a pack of angry and vicious looking guardsmen.
“Oi, newbie,” one of them, a big bulky man that smelled like sweat and beer poked his rusty weapon at our holy Emperor. “You look like you're lost.”
His companions laughed at this, and joined in.
“Yeah, look at this one,” another said while pointing at Diango. “Looks like he hasn't eaten in weeks."
"That's because I haven't,” Diango replied dryly while grabbing the guard's sword. His hand started to bleed but Diango didn't seem to notice or care. “Do you want to know why?” He asked and slowly walked towards the guards, still holding the rusty sword in his bleeding hand.
“Because the Corugi hasn't given me his Holy Permission to eat!”
The guards started to look scared, and tried to back away from the crazy man.
“The word of Corugi is Law! And when He tells me to do something I Obey!”
“O-okay man, whatever you want,” the big guard said shakily. “Just drop the sword, okay?”
Diango didn't seem to listen, and continued to walk towards the guards who were now backed up against the wall of the West Bank. Terrified, the big guard now focussed his pleading on Corugi.
“P-please man, make him stop!”
“Diango,” Corugi said using his most commanding and impressive voice. “Let them go.”
“Yes, master,” Diango instantly replied and dropped the bloody sword at the guard's feet.
“Now then,” Corugi started while giving the guards a meaningful look. “Can any of you lads tell me where I can find the museum?“

With the help of a hastily drawn map, some instructions and eventually a guard escort, the museum was quickly located. It was a beautiful building with hidden treasures waiting to be discovered and knowledge waiting to be shared.
Confidently, Corugi walked towards one of the working archaeologists sitting at a table covered in rocks and dust.
“You there, you look like you know your way around treasure.”
“Treasure?” The man's eyes lit up at the sound of the word, and he quickly turned around to face Corugi. “Yes, I know treasure. Treasure is good!”
“Right,” Corugi decided the man was an idiot, exactly what he needed. “I have recently failed to locate a treasure, and need your help.”
“Fresh treasure! Good treasure!” The archaeologist jumped over the little rope separating the guests from the workers, and shook Corugi's hand excitedly. “Shiny treasure! Where is it? Where? Where?”
“Somewhere around Draynor,” our Emperor explained while giving Diango an angry look.
“Good! Good! Draynor treasure has been lost for centuries! We will find it, yes yes!”
“Yeah, centuries. An ancient lost treasure. Lets go then, shall we?” Corugi led the excited archaeologist and his faithful Diango out of the building and back towards Draynor.
An ancient lost treasure, Corugi thought while walking to long road back to his home. I just wanted him to find my gold, but I guess some extra treasure never hurt anyone. Of course I don't trust this madman, and he will have to be removed when the treasure is found....
Corugi plotted and schemed until they reached the town of Draynor. It was evening now, and the darkness made any work impossible. “Work by light! Yes, yes, light is good,“ was the archaeologists professional opinion, so any work was put of until the next day.

Corugi woke up to the sounds of a building being destroyed. The whole mansion shook and small bits of wall landed all around him.
“What,” he asked confusedly, and had to jump out of bed to evade a big chunk of the ceiling.
“Diango!” He shouted. “What the Guthix is going on?”
“Master!” Diangos voice shouted from somewhere outside.”We have started digging for the treasure master!” Corugi swiftly dressed himself and ran out the door to find out the specifics of the operation.
The front of the mansion was missing. So was half of the western side of it. The entire front garden had been cleared of all the dead trees, and got turned into a massive pit.
“What is this?” he shouted over the noise of rock being broken. “Diango!”
“Master! The ancient treasure of Draynor is located under the manor.”
“Yes yes, dig, dig! Treasure is hidden here, I can smell it!” The archaeologist was instructing some of the local farmers to dig a tunnel right under the building It seemed to lead somewhere under the basement.
After digging for hours and hours the small tunnel slowly turned into another massive pit. The front of the building had collapsed, but luckily no one got hurt and the rubble was quickly cleared.
“Yes! We are nearly there! Dig! Dig!”
The crazy archaeologists enthusiasm seemed to infect everyone around him, and the farmers put some more effort into their work.

Finally, just after the sun had gone down something happened. “Oi, get off me spade!” One of the farmers shouted frustratedly, and someone quickly brought a torch to find out what was going on.
“I'm trying to dig here but this thing is in the way!”
The flickering flame revealed a small wooden box. “This is it! The treasure! Treasure! Yay treasure! Quickly give it to me! Give! Give!”
The farmer passed the small box on to the excited archaeologist who carefully put it down on the floor.
“I need a knife, something to open it with! Now, quick! Treasure!” He commanded and Diango produced a bronze dagger from somewhere inside his clothes.
*Hey! This is my house and my treasure,“ Corugi started but the crazy man had already proceeded to open the box.
“Haha! Treasure,” he exclaimed when the box finally opened. An old copper coin lay pathetically alone inside the box.
“That's it?” Corugi said disappointedly, and stretched out his hand towards the piece of metal. “Really? One coin?”
“My treasure!” The archaeologist shouted, slapped the box shut and jumped up. “All mine!”
He started to run away but Diango was prepared.
“Let the Faithful stand up against Thievery! Let them walk the path of the Righteous and stop this Evil!”
The digging farmers picked up their spades and torches and chased after the escaping madman. “Mine,” he shouted again and again, and kept running. He nearly got away when he reached the marketplace.
In the darkness he never saw the Pit of Doom. “Mine! Treasure is mine!” Were his last words before he fell to his death.
