Amidst the screeches of beasts and men, the situation had a decided protocol of escape. Now was the time to commit.
Prisoners went their ways through the hole in the kitchen or tower. Meanwhile, he heroes would escape by other means: pretending to be wounded vampires, with the aid of some sort of magical liquid and vampiric equipment.
Upon hearing of the plan, Sakura let her axe drop perpendicularly, shaft upright. She slouched over, placed a foot atop one horn of the axe, and shook her head with a raspy, distorted exhale. She had already sustained multiple flesh wounds fighting the zombies and gargoyles, so chances are, she looked wounded and bloodied enough.
Erik sort of shrugged. “Well, if that’s how you fool a vampire...” He clipped his forehead open with his blade. Scalp wounds bleed like hell though weren’t dangerous.
With injuries and bleeding clearly visible, presumably, this would allow the heroes to utilize vampiric equipment as they made their escape.
