Ellyssa Sawrawian
Growling at her lowly, the werewolf knelt down beside her, begrudgingly. Werewolves are infamous for their sense of pride. Elyssa may not have listened to the many elven stories around a campfire tell of their incomprehensible decisions if it went against their pride. One such maddening decision was what happened to Ellyssa: First threatening to sell her to Lord Tingus Gern, even knowing she had the power to heal his paw. The werewolf held his hand out expecting Elyssa to honor her word,
"Pain is nothing, elf. Do it quickly.}
As Elyssa examined the wound in his mind, the werewolf struck up a conversation, where he told her a bit of interesting news. What he told her grasped her attention:
"Before I was hunting in this forest, I was hunting up in the northern regions, where I met a group a vampires. These were not your normal vampires, they did not have Clan Gern characteristics. Their faces were not bat-like, many Clan Gern Vampires, they were Purebloods, all of them. human faces, golden eyes. Haughty, bigoted, arrogant. I watched as they raped Clan Gern women, and then swiftly decapitated them with their sabres of gold. they did not fly Clan Gern crests on their sails. The entire Northern region is filled with them with them. "
For Ellyssa, this raised some questions. Who were these vampires? why did they execute their own kind? Were they allies of the resistance? What did this mean for the resistance? Would the elders ally themselves with them? Would the human leaders look past their pride to ally themselves with the very things they despise? If this Were-beast was telling the truth, then everything has changed; it was unknown if these vampires were friends, or foes. Could Sudovia be freed with vampiric intervention? Or would these vampires simply replace Clan Gern as the enemies of mortals?
