Drugal: Drugal (Also called “Birdmen”) are a group of flying humanoids They are talented brigands, thieves, and assassins. They have feathers covering most of their body, with the exception of their face. They have golden beaks in place of human lips, with their nose connected to their beaks. They usually wear light armors,and they never wear heavy armor.


The Drugal are a stateless people, and are born and live aboard the Skyherd Fleet, a fleet of 75,000 flying armored war-ships with advanced technology such as powerful energy cannons. Even with all this technology, they don’t even use the firearms they make, instead they still use their traditional daggers, swords, and war-scythes. A very curious decision that defies explanation.

Drugal tend to use daggers, swords, or war-scythes in battle. They are vicious, and notoriously frustrating opponents, even individually, able to dodge attacks quickly by flying away and doubling back to attack with weapon, beak, or talons. They are however vulnerable to magic and bows. They have extremely good hearing; it is thus very difficult to sneak up on them. They think fast, talk fast, and act fast. Drugal have few mages. Most of those mages are needed to keep the Skyherd Fleet in flying condition. For a drugal mage to be exiled from the fleet is extremely rare. They are capable as mages though they prioritize quick spells over powerful spells which drain their mana pool quicker. A good way to describe their magical combat strategy is to kill with 1000 mosquito bites, instead of one big bite. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Orcs: Elves captured by the vampires in the early onset of the war were tortured and experimented upon for decades. The result of the experiments were a green, or grey-skinned muscular race of elves with tusks protruding from the bottom halves of their mouths. Intended as shock troops to be used in conquering the mortal races, the orcs betrayed the vampires almost immediatedly and began hunting the vampires themselves.


Orcs have retained their bow skills from their days as wood elves, but they stereotypically use anything heavy and two-handed including axes, clubs, morningstars, an swords. They make even worse mages than dwarves, and lack their inventiveness. Orc mages thus focus their all their mana on a single powerful blast, which for many orc mage apprentices completely backfires and blows them to smithereens. Many are mercenaries, hunters, butchers, herbalists, and assassins. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Vampires: Vampires come from all races of people. Like the elves, they are immortal unless killed. The difference is that vampires are not counted among the living, whereas elves are. Vampires are creatures of deceit and subterfuge. Forging relations for them is easy and rewarding, since they can effectively charm their way into your bedroom and seduce you given time; putting you in a vulnerable state long enough to bite the nape of your neck and drink your blood. Thus vampires are uniquely feared among the undead.


Vampires are very skilled at magic, including necromancy. Even orcish vampires make better mages than non vampiric orcs. However, they are stronger and quicker than other races, able to wield heavy objects with relative ease. Even the weakest looking vampire can lift a human off the ground with one hand and with relative ease. They are weak to silver weapons and fire magic. Vampires prefer to avoid a fight, but they will use anything they can use as a weapon. They are seen as elegant and will usually prioritize elegant weapons like sabers or rapiers over brutsh weapons like hammers, maces, and morningstars. Rules

1.No trash-talking or flaming other rpers on the thread, and off he thread. I allow constructive criticism, however we must be aware that the person being criticized might not see your tips as constructive, but rather as an attack. If such a thing happens, you have a couple of choices. 1) explain your position and try to find things you agree on, or 2) drop the matter. I will not tolerate flaming or trash-talking on the rp, or on the story-roleplay forum.



2.No Tyme Warping (The correct terminology is godmodding. I use both terms ‘cause I’m super special. ) your character’s wounds away. Meaning if you give your character an injury, I’m not going to accept a follow-up post were his wounds are suddenly healed, unless that post makes sense. For example, a healer mends your wounds while you are in battle. I will highlight keywords green to give you an idea of what is acceptable for if you need to do a tyme warp. In all honesty though, if you plan your posts out well, you won’t need to tyme warp at all



3.No auto-hitting, skill-based godmodding (Suddely gaining a new skill or advancing a skill) or situational godmodding (ignoring certain facts of the story, typically done to advance the plot, or avoid damage), retconning, (pretending like the plot didn’t happen simply because you didn’t like the outcome) damage powerplaying (damaging a fellow rper’s character without their permission. There are a few other forms or being overly aggressive towards other people’s characters. This is a role-play, not the goddamn Olympics Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

4) If auto-hitting, godmodding, powerplaying, retconning occurs. (Again, there are different forms of cruddy rping) I, or another player will let you know. That is your cue to delete your post before I give you a strike. I will wait until the other rpers post until I give you one. I allot each rper three strikes before I arbitrarily kill off their character and kick them off the rp. If I am being super strict here, you should have seen the original version of this post. 6)Keep out of character posts to the story and role-play forum. This makes it easier for me to find who has posted and plan out future posts.



7)Have fun! If you are overwhelmed by fear that I may kill off your character due to too many rule violations due to your being new to role-playing, simply tell me you are new. I’m sure we’ll be accomodating. If not them, I will be. In any case, if you do wrong, correct your mistakes, and you will be fine.



8) I only allow two characters per rper. This is to reduce the workload that I, as threadmaster will have to deal with . --(( NO LONGER ENFORCED: CREATE AS MANY CHARACTERS AS YOU LIKE))

Name: Vyras (Pronounced VEER-Oss)

Race: Human

Age: 89

Gender: Male

Weapon Enchanted silver dagger, and magic staff

Magic: Necromancy and fire magic.

Appearance: Vyras is a white-skinned old- man with wrinkly face, grey, curly hair flecked with areas of remaining black pigment from his youth. He has green eyes, a scar on his left eye that are the remnants of bear attack from when he was a teenager. Vyras is hunch-backed, a result of bad posture from when he retired from the resistance for a peaceful life. He wears a black robe which covers his face. He uses his staff as a walking stick to keep him from falling down, which causes his long beard to hang low to the ground. He is 5’5


Personality: Vyras is foul-mouthed, crotchety, greedy, miserly and extremely hateful of vampires. He almost always uses vulgar language when speaking. He is extremely irritable, especially if he is waking up, and he is miserly. He has a pathological fear of water that manifests as an outright refusal to bathe under any circumstances. This has caused many people to joke that his stench alone could kill off a vampire from one hundred yards away. He loves literature a bit too much. If he is being nagged when he is reading, he snaps at the person nagging him and then goes back to reading. He is however a really good teacher, and has taught mages of the resistance for years. Even in his “retirement.’


Vyras’ is very fond of children. A result of regret for killing one out of petty hatred, and coming to regret it Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Bio: At 89, Vyras has lived a long rewarding life of hunting vampires. He was once a celebrated commander, until he retired to raise an orphaned girl as his daughter. Born to a blacksmith father, and a sorceress mother who fought in the resistance, Vyras would grow to idolize his mother who during her pregnancy, was sidelined from missions to protect her child. As the child grew, his mother told him stories about her adventures, usually when she was drunk, about her adventures. Such stories filled him with the desire to join himself. His father hated the idea of his son joining the resistance, instead wanting him to learn to smith the weapons the resistance uses. It was safer.


When he was 7, however he began showing magical talent, when Vyras accidentally resurrected a baby crow from the dead when he was wandering the premises of the resistance


At 14, that training nearly came to an end, when he resurrected a decaying dead bear. Unable to control the rampaging beast, the bear clawed him in the face, and knocked him into the river. The current dragged him off into the rapids, and he was sucked underwater. Vyras was able to swim up but after being sucked down twice. Vyras needed help. A stranger watched all this unfold. He jumped into the river, and fished the young man out. Vyras has been afraid of water ever since. His hatred of bathing also stems from this incident. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Vyras can be considered a relic from a time when there was not much resistance to Clan Gern's advances. When he was barely 20, It was generally considered by the elders at the time that resistance to the Gerns was futile. Vyras and the younger generation believed that the only path forward was through resisting the Gerns. The argument at the time was "you cannot resist with passivity. And Vyras, an eloquent speaker at the time stood atop a table in a tavern in Vilnius and roused up the younger resistance fighters, folks who were 13, 14, or 15 against the weak elders who constantly argued for passivity against the enemy. After a great struggle, Vyras and the youth took over the resistance headquarters ( Not the one the Rpers are currently at) Rumors swelled around for years that Vyras had them eventually had them killed.Vyras became a legend overnight among the young resistance fighters, eventually becoming leader of the resistance for a time

Vyras has a controversial history as a leader, when Drowish refugees came asking for safe shelter, Vyras ordered archers to fire upon innocent drowish women and children, out of fear of them being vampire spies As an old man, he adopted Belar a drow out of guilt. Everyone in the resistance gave him flack for his decision. Vyras also negotiated trade deals with drugal merchants, which were needed, but also controversial as Drugal only think in terms of monetary reward. Nonetheless the resistance had access to good quality weapons.

Vyras had a good tenure as leader, though he was not as effective of a leader as they hyped him up to be. Vyras was most effective in leading a squad of troops and executing strategies on the field, not leading the entire resistance force. He remained leader for a period of four years, before deciding that he was not the leader they needed. That job ended up going to Vyras' successor. That title was passed around until it was given to Lensa Thrice-Bitten. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!
