"Eh? Oh, naught much, little mistress." Havoc makes a face. "Somethin' I learned to make as a lass. Sauced greens. Scrambled eggs. Fired apples." They scrape at the pan. "Come to think of it, you reckon the ghost wants anything? An offerin', or the like? They say the ship's haunted, you know."

Annie listened Havoc speak. She replied with a smile,”Please just call me Annie. I don’t know if ghost even eat. If it this ship is haunted I would like to talk to it.” She wasn’t afraid of ghosts. She’s still very excited to get this adventure going. -Dances-

Havoc curtseys. "Annie, then." He drowns the chopped half-roasted apples in the buttery rum glaze and slides their dish over the coals to cook. "You can't always talk to ghosts. Some of them don't as much care to talk to us, an' others..." He shrugs. "I've heard of marsh spirits as'd steal the words from your throat and leave you gasping for breath."

Annie watched Havoc cooked as she thought what he just said about ghosts. She replied with a smile,” Thats true. I didn’t think about that. I don’t think that marsh spirits would steal the words from your throat and leave you gasping for breath." -Dances-

"Oh, aye. Han't you ever wandered out in the marsh in the late hours and seen lights bobbing out in the mists? It's the spirits aimin' to lure you out into their clutches." Havoc cracks an egg one-handed over the skillet. "Han't you ever heard the cracks and hisses and whistles from the gloom, lass?" She grins. "It's those already drawn out to their dooms, still tryin' to gather the words to cry for help."

Hraldmir didn't step too far into the galley, remaining by the wall as the human cooked and the pair talked. He listened, looking over the interior hull with a careful albeit casual glance - the carpentry work decent given the state he saw the ship in before it was repaired. He tuned into the talking after a moment, recognizing that of all things they were discussing ghosts and spirits - the ship supposedly being haunted, and things such as marsh spirits that would claim your breath.

" Spirits are fickle, " The dwarf chimed in, having been quiet up until then. " Many are benign - never to be a bother, never wanting for anything. Some wish to help, to be needed and appreciated. Others... allow negative emotion to claim them, and they become the stories you hear of. "

Annie listened to Havoc and respond,”No I haven’t. I heard stories about it. I hope this ship doesn’t have those kinds of ghosts. The food that Havoc was making smelled very good. She said to Havoc,”The food you are making smell so good.”

She heard Hraldmir voice talking about Spirits being fickle. She replied,” I think if we give them respect I don’t think they were hurt us.”

Annie looked at Havoc and said,”I don’t know much about spirits. It was really a guess. I am always like learning new things about anything around me. Please don’t think I think I am smarter than you. That was not my attention.” -Dances-

Hraldmir stroked the braids of his beard as a look of thought crossed his face, nodding slightly to Havoc's question.

" Of spirits I know more than most, " He admitted, eyes idly trailing to something to one side of the room - where there was only wall and shelf. " I've walked the path of a shaman for many years now, heard enough whispers of things long forgotten from nameless spirits - and done a share of ridding the plane of the more malicious ones. " His eyes returned to the other two in the room, his age showing momentarily in his face. " Respecting a spirit is not as simple as showing modesty. To some spirits, respect is giving them one of your eyes - or offering up your life as forfeit for simply stepping foot in their territory. It won't get you far. "
