This wasn’t the perfect day to be outside, the sky was dark and gray. Wind swiped over our bodies like it did through the trees. Through my YEARS of military experience, I had surmised that this wasn’t a regular army, how could I tell? Well, none of their clothes matched! It was a fashion disaster! But any who back to the thickening plot.
We were taken to this underground passage under white wolf mountain and thrown in what I think was suppose to be a jail cell. But it had both of the necessities of life (BEER, and . . .Amy *drools*). I ran up to a beer mug, and started stroking it lovingly, “I love you..” I said with tears in my eyes. So, after “rotting” in our jail cell for a few hours, a big, old, important looking man walks in. He did*’t pay any attention to us at first, and talked over his shoulder as he was walking in. “This better be important! You interrupted what could’ve been my last chance to see *Cats” the musical!” Then the man stopped right outside the cell, peered inside, squinted, and then looked straight at Oreo and gasped. “Oreo. . . that can’t be you.” The old man walks closer to the cell. “By Zamorak, you haven’t aged a day!” Oreo looks at the man, confused. “Release us!” I demand. The old man nods to a guard who comes up with a set of keys and opens the iron door. “Haha!! Freedom!” I yelled. “Yo*hi, quick, activate plan delta!”
“On it!” Yoshi collapsed to the ground. “WE SURRENDER!!!” He cried. “Psst…” I whispered, “The ‘other’ plan delta.” “Oh, right.” He said. Yoshi drew his sword and thrusted it into the belly of the nearest guard. The man was shocked for a few seconds, then turned to his other 3 guards and gave a quick nod in my direction.
“Oreo, come with me, we have much to discuss.* The man said in a loud whisper. The remaining guards threw Yoshi and me back into the cell, and closed the door.

Hours, upon hours of waiting, tick tock goes the clock, is the clock mocking me? A man could go mad down here, even. . . Kill *menacing look at Doodle*.
Lucky for him though Oreo walks back in the passage with a stunned look on his face. Oreo walks into the jail cell and sits down on a bed. “You won’t believe me when I tell you this guys. . .”
*end of day NINETYONE*
Nah only kidding!
“You won’t believe me when I tell you this guys. . .” Oreo starts, but the words get caught in his throat. “What is it Oreo?” asked Amy. “For one thing, that man is my father.” Oreo looks up from the ground and stares at me, and sees me looking at the door. “Wow, I guess that’s good news Oreo, what’s the rest?” asked Doodle. “Well, you know how we all went to ScapeRune right?” he stops and receives a a nod from Doodle and Amy, “We only stayed there for a few weeks, but..but something happened, it’s been. . . It’s been. . .”
“Spit it out Oreo!” Yoshi barked. “Fine.” he says, “it was three weeks in ScapeRune, but it was 50 years in Runescape.” Everyone GASPED, everyone execpt for me, whose attention was still on the door, “are you telling me that door has been unlocked this whole time??”

DAY NINETYTWO -....Glome anyone?-
This was all a lot to take in. It’s been 50 years since we’ve gone away from RuneScape into ScapeRune. And I think I left the stove on!!! I’m not paying that electric bill! As I was saying, a lot of thing must have happened to make this place almost as bleak as ScapeRune. In the distance, every once in a while, you would see smoke rising from a distant fire into the colorless sky. This wasn’t like ScapeRune though. ScapeRune sky looked naturally grey, while RuneScape’s sky seemed to be bleak only because of the heavy clouds overhead. Our sky still seemed to have the same effect of hopelessness though.
We kept ourselves entertained in our cell, hour after hour, by playing rock, paper, scissors. I won every time! I had a secret weapon called the “instant win” throw down! But they kept saying stuff like "Noob, that symbol means a rock,” but I knew better then to fall to their tricks. “No! It’s an instant win one! You’re just jealous that you did*’t think of it first!” I yelled in Response. As I said, before, I never lose… NEVER. *Demonic stare*
Oreo was still shaken up a bit and had his head in the clouds. “Oreo, that’s the 19th time you threw down paper, what’s wrong?” Amy asked. Oreo signed and shook his head. “It’s my father. Even in our regular time, I did*’t see much of him.” None of us got what he was getting at. Looking at our blank faces, he continued. “You don’t understand! I never told my parents anything about my life! They don’t know I’m a rogue, a bounty hunter, and assassin, a killer…” His eyes went blank. “I’ve killed men, Amy, without a chance for them to plead, without mercy. What will my father say?” He asked. For the first time since I’ve seen Oreo, it looked as if he might cry. His voice cracked from the strain.

Amy, Doodle, and Yoshi were all looking onto Oreo with pity. I wasn’t as lenient. *Gees lighten up will ya? So you’ve killed a few people, big whoop.” I said. I loved killing the mood. Amy gave me a shocked look, wondering how I could say something so blunt. I saw this and sighed. I knew this would take a lighter touch. I stood up and walked to Oreo and put a hand on his shoulder. “Listen, Oreo. What you were doesn’t matter anymore. We have been thrown into a world that seems a bit more hostile then the one we had before. Your dad won’t mind if you’ve killed a few people. Heck, I’d be willing to put money on it that he’s killed a few men to that he isn’t proud of.” Oreo thought about this for a few moments. He opened his mouth to respond when the padlocked door to the outside clanged open.
In walked in Oreo’s dad and came up to the cell. “We have concluded that you are not spies. I am weary, however, that you how you showed up with my son, who looks as if he hasn’t aged at all since he went missing.” Oreo’s dad suddenly looked upon me and studied my face. “You look familiar. State your name.” he said. I cleared my throat. “I am the Noob, here to…-” I was cut off.
The guards murmured look and Oreo’s father got a surprised look on his face.
“Not…THE Noob…right?” He gave me a closer look. “Oh dear lord, Hail it is!” He gripped the bars madly. “You’re the one who saw this coming! You tried to warn everyone, but no one listened! You saw this coming…”
“Oh yes I did!” I lied, no clue to what he was talking about. “That’s not possible though! The historical lore said you died 50 years ago!” He sputtered. Historical lore? I liked the sound of that! Amy approached the bars. “We have not been dead. Somehow we were sent to another dimension via a portal. What was a month to us, was 50 years by the time we got back.” She said. “But that would mean… You don’t know what’s happening or what’s going on?” Oreo’s father asked. Amy shook her head.

“Then you must be informed at once! Follow me to my quarters.” he said, nodding to his guards to let us out. The guard with the keys eerily eyed me suspiciously before unlocking our cell and standing aside so we could get out. “We shall get to my quarters by Glome.” He said, as we walked outside. Doodle looked confuse. “What’* that? A new type of teleport?* Doodle asked. Oreo’s dad looked at us weirdly, as if we asked “Is bread edible”. Then he remembered where we were from. “Oh, that’s right! In your time the Glome hasn’t been invented yet! It** a type of quick transportation system to get us from one place to another.” He said. “Sooo… It’s a type of teleport?* Doodle asked again.
“Not exactly.” Oreo’s father said. “It’s actually closer to what you know as… the catapult.”
The next few things happened in a heartbeat. The ground below us glowed and if on a spring, thrusted upwards, unfortunately with us on it. We flew forward at unimaginable speed. Me and Yoshi were screaming our lungs out, air rushing past us, Blurred ground far below us. I looked to my right to see Oreo’s dad looking calm, if not impatient, twiddling his thumbs. I gave him a “Are you insane?!” look. He did*’t catch it.
Then I saw a platform rushing towards us, which looked like this was going to be a head on collision. Just before hitting, though, it jutted in the opposite direction, the way we were going, at about half a mile per hour less then we were going. Because of this, we hit the soft platform gently. We then started lowering vertically with the platform under us like an elevator. IT started fast and slowed as we got lower in elevation.

We lightly hit the ground with a small thud. All our jaws were on the ground. Oreo’s dad saw us and said “You get used to it. Actually it’s quite enjoyable once you get used to it.” We pulled ourselves together and continued onto a small manor. More like a the remains of an old manor. The roof had gaping holes in, nearly all the windows were smashed, and the ones that weren’t were so filled with dust that it looked like the glass rusted over. As if reading my mind, Oreo’s dad said “There are no more builders. Everyone must be a fighter, a soldier, to live. Nothing worth noticing has been built in 40 years.” I nodded.
We stepped inside and walked through a few rooms. People scurried by us as we walked through the manor, doing who-knows-what. Finally, we entered a room lit by a fire in the fireplace, and a comfy looking chair accompanied by a desk next to the wall, just in the right spot so the flame light lazily reflected off the worn wood, but just enough in the dark so you could be mysterious when you wanted to! Oreo’s dad moved the desk away and sat down in the chair.
“Gather ‘round, children.” Oreo’s dad said. “For god sakes dad, we’re not children, we’re-” Oreo started to say, but was interrupted by Yo*hi.
*STORY TIIIIIIIMMMMEEE!!!” Yoshi squealed and sat in front of Oreo’s dad, crisscrossed his legs, and put his hands in his lap while staring intently at Oreo’s dad. Amy sighed, and beckoned for the rest of us to join Yo*hi. We obliged, begrudgingly. I was less then elated.
“STORY TIIIIMMME!!!” I echoed Yo*hi, and sat right next to him.
After we all settled in, Oreo’s dad took the pipe out of his mouth (wait, he had a pipe?), and began. “It all started 50 years ago, the day of collapse, they call it…
“Oh boy, a flashback!” Yoshi said as we faded to black.

Long ago, the god wars were being fought on our mortal plane. The gods, who are mostly known by us today, were each given a name in turn for their behavior at the time. Zamorak, the chaotic. His name comes from the Elvin words meaning “To bring distress”. Saradomin, the serine. His name came from the first native human settlements, from the man who was the first to make contact with Saradomin. The man named Saradomin after his daughter, Sara, and his son, Dom. Guthix, the balanced. His holy name came from the Gnome ancestry, his name literally meaning “To bring balance”.
The god wars were mostly fought by the supporters of Saradomin versus the supporters of Zamorak. Every now and again, the gods would fight in person against one another, by after a while it was seen to be pointless because neither could die. Instead, they rallied more and more human supporters. One of the main restrictions to being a god is that a mortal couldn’t die by your hand. So, instead, they made the humans fight for them, leaving the result of the conflict down to the weaker, short-lived humans. This wasn’t good enough for Saradomin, he wanted to save the land from eternal peril. The world was begging for Saradomin’s protection, and he was going to answer it. We now know this was no longer the case.
Finally, about 48 years ago, it had seemed the wars had found its victor: Saradomin stood the triumphant one, and cast Zamorak, and his followers, into a room said to be invulnerable and impenetrable, even for a god. The world of RuneScape rejoiced! Their savior had won. They were safe…
They couldn’t have been more wrong…

Our of nowhere, every single stronghold, town, city, encampment, village, and castle in RuneScape was attacked by Saradomin’s forces! No one could have believed it; their god had betrayed them! It was also because no one could believe it that lead to no one being prepared for an attack. Saradomin’s forces cut through everyone like butter. One by one, all the nations fell: first Morytania, then the Kharidian desert, then Karajma, then Feldip hills, then Kandarin, then Asgarnia, then finally, the great Nation that was Misthalin had fallen, leaving the world to anarchy and chaos.
Saradomin’s forces took, and still take, 90% of all goods and products in RuneScape, leaving the rest of us to fight over the remaining 10%. People started working together. Small clan started forming. Some clans united to form bigger clans, until finally there were 5 huge, main clans that came unto the RuneScape world. There are hundreds, maybe even thousands, of clans, but these 5 were the biggest by far. They are nameless, and are only known by a number. I am Blue X95, Oreo’s father, leader of the first of five.
The clans wage wars and send raids to one another. No alliance can form, because no one can be trusted. An offer of an alliance can be taken as an insult, and the man who suggested it would probably be killed on the spot. My clan found this out the hard way. We were the ones trying to make peace and bring down Saradomin. The response was bloodshed. Every single one of my emissaries were killed or returned, forever mortified and scarred, to give me a message of their answer. All the clans only recognize one man when it comes to Saradomin: You, Noob. Everyone knows that you knew the truth, and were foolish not to believe you. Everyone thinks your dead though.

It is known today that the historical text was wrong. Zamorak was never evil! He was a tool for Saradomin, under mind control! For eons, he would make Zamorak make a mess of things, then he would fix the mess and come out the hero until finally he gained all the people’s trust. A few, brave individuals caught on early, and saw right through Saradomin. These people became Zamorak’s followers. At least they found a way to release Zamorak from Saradomin’* clutches, and Zamorak was finally free. Zamorak wanted to right what was wrong in the world, by getting rid of Saradomin, but after eons of destruction, the thought of Zamorak being good was just to far-fetched. The people reacted to Zamorak with severe retaliations against him, aiding Saradomin, until finally Zamorak was defeated and thrown into the invulnerable room.
We stand today, a broken society, barely grasping at the edge of survival. Everyone must fight to survive, it is a way of life now. What we can’t get ourselves, we steal from other clans. We have been… forsaken…
*End story*
It was all a lot to take in. In fact, to much to take in! Yoshi and I got bored halfway through and decided to play ping-pong! Don’t ask where, and how, we managed to get a fully-functional ping-pong table, ball, and paddles; we don’t know either. Any who, we got the gist of it: I WAS RIGHT! Saradomin WAS evil! I knew it from the first time I saw that statue of him in Varrock.
5 minutes into my I-was-right dance, Amy interrupted me. “Is there anyway we can beat Saradomin?” She asked. Blue shook his head.
“To even reach his palace, we would need an army, the size of which RuneScape hasn’t seen in decades."
I thought about this. Then Yo*hi got his monthly light-bulb-in the-ol’-brain moment.
“What if the clan united? I mean, would that be enough people to get us in?” Yoshi asked.

Blue put his hand on his chin. “I suppose, theoretically. But you don’t understand: every clan are blood enemies. I doubt many will see the greater good in killing Saradomin. Many would die before working with another clan.”
“We have to try though!” Said Yo*hi, turning to us. “It’s our only hope of making it inside the castle!"
We turned to Yo*hi, not used to him taking charge. I stood up next to Yo*hi.
“He’s right! This could be our only shot.” I said. I then turned to Blue. “Will you help us find the clans? I might be able to convince them to join the cause, being THE NOOB and all…” I said, rubbing my chest modestly.
Blue coughed and replied wearily, “I know the locations of the 4 other major clans. If you manage to convince any of them to help us take down Saradomin, tell them to come here.” “Where is ‘here’ exactly?” I asked.
“We are in the forgotten ruins that you once knew as Seers village, though just tell the clan leaders to go to the main base of the first of five encampment, they known where it is. Most people alive haven’t ever seen or heard of a Seers village…” Blue said, sighing. “Oh, and if you die, it’s not on my head.” He added.
“Excellent! Where will I need to go to find the clans?” I asked.
Blue approached his desk. “Here, I’ll write the locations down for you. Here you are.” He said, handing a slip of paper to me. "Oh, and you'll need a guide. Someone who will make sure you won't get lost, or won't run into any trouble on the way back. I wouldn't trust anyone but my best warrior as your guide." Blue said and nodded.
"Great!" I exclaimed. "What is this warrior's name?"
"Jayaster." Came the reply.
"Ah, good. Sounds like a strong man! Nothing but the best for us, eh?" I said, grinning.
"Yes, but Jayaster isn't a g-" Blue started to say.
I pocketed the piece of paper “Ok, it’s settled then.” I said loudly, turning towards my fellows. “Tomorrow we give a little visit to the second of five.”
