“My lord, an emergency!”
Taiyama looked up from the documents on his desk and asked, “What kind of emergency?”

Caihoc looked around the interior of the so-called “base” he had just broken into. At least twenty soldiers were facing him. All had either drawn their weapons or begun grasping their runes. Caihoc noted that all the warriors were well trained, and the base seemed well built. This group was significantly more organized and prepared than the several others he had already dealt with.
“Who are you?” demanded a warrior as he walked out from a nearby hall.
Caihoc studied the warrior carefully; he was a bespectacled young man with shoulder length brown hair and dark brown eyes that nearly appeared black. He wore a suit of rune plate mail, but Caihoc could easily tell that the warrior’s body was well-muscled underneath his armor.
“You must be Taiyama,” commented Caihoc, as he looked at the warrior. “I’ve heard of you… you were a former Brigadier General in Misthalin’s army, were you not?*
Taiyama bit his lip. This man was well informed, and also… Taiyama could feel the immense magical energy radiating from him. “It seems you know who I am,” said Taiyama, “but you have failed to answer my question.”
“In good time,” replied Caihoc, “First, I have a question I must ask you. Taiyama, do you really think that you and your group can aid Zaros with your current activities? A nobleman killed one day, a bank robbery the next, a couple Zamorakians butchered a day after that. Tell me, has any of this sped up the return of our master?”
“So you are a Zarosian as well,” said Taiyama, “Then why did you kill some of my troops?”
“They got in my way,* came the blunt reply.
Taiyama’s brow furrowed in anger, but he did*’t pursue the matter, “Very well, how would you propose we aid our master’s return?”

Caihoc smiled broadly, “I have been sent by Zaros to gather all the groups of Zarosians scattered across the land for just that purpose. If you would pledge your loyalty to me, I will…”
“Hold it!” shouted one of the Zarosian warriors, “Why should we pledge our services to you? What proof can you offer that Zaros sent you?”
“You desire proof?” asked Caihoc, “Very well.” The warlock pulled back his hood, allowing those in front of him to see his face. It was obviously ravage by time, but what caught the eyes of the other Zarosians was the black symbol of Zaros on Caihoc’s forehead. Shortly after the Zarosians were shown this symbol, it began to glow in an eerie red light.
*It can’t be!” exclaimed one of the Zarosian mages.
“A geis?!* exclaimed Taiyama.
“That is correct,” replied Caihoc, “I bear a geis- a magical contract which binds Zaros and myself, this symbol is my pledge mark. Now, do you all understand?”
Taiyama dropped to one knee, and his men followed in his example. “Give your orders and we shall obey, my lord!” he said.
“Very well,” said Caihoc, and he began to relate what he had learned at the Black Pentagram.

“Well, this is a pretty sight,” commented Iban as he walked around the crater in the southern section of Varrock.
“Conflagration of chaos…” said one of the soldiers with Iban, “Was it the girl?”
“No,* commented Iban, “It’s meant to look like we Zamorakians did this.”
“Sir, why is that?” asked the soldier.
“To throw the Saradominists off,” commented another Zamorakian, this one in red armor.
“I assume you’re Soul,” Iban said to the new soldier.
“Yes, it’s a pleasure to meet you, Sir Iban,” the new soldier replied.
“There is no need for formalities,” said Iban, “Do you have any information regarding the girl?”
“She was definitely here,” replied Soul, “She met with two people; a mage and a bounty hunter. Neither was human; the bounty hunter was an elf, and we are still trying to figure out the mage’s race.
We also believe that the girl left with the elf, and that they were headed west.”
“The Zamorakian Red Guard is as well informed as ever, I see,” mused Iban, “What of the mage?”
“He used a short-range form of teleportation to escape us," explained Soul.
“Sounds like a certain mage I know of,” commented Iban, “Anything else?”
“A small group of temple knights was eliminated by the mage,” said Soul.
“Good for him,” said Iban, “Unfortunately, it appears we have to head west, and an elf will be hard to sneak up on.”
“I assume you want to leave immediately?” asked Soul.
“Of course,” replied Iban.

Selene was keeping watch when Rose suddenly awoke, shouting “Orcris!"
"What?” asked Selene, surprised by the sudden outburst.
“He is my husband,” said Rose.
“You’re married?!” exclaimed Selene.
“Well, it’s not official, but I just saw him in a dream, and I know he’s my husband,” explained Rose, “I hope I can meet him soon.”
Selene was dumbstruck by the girl’s sudden decision.
“Anyway, I should go meet him soon, so I will be going to the elflands,” said Rose.

Selene inwardly groaned, she was not eager to return to the elflands, at least not while Lord Iowerth lived.
“Well, see you later,” said Rose, getting up to leave.
“Hold it, do you even know how to get to the elflands?” questioned Selene.
Rose froze in her tracks. “No,* she admitted sheepishly.
“In that case, would you like me to show you?” asked Selene.
“Oh, that’s right, you’re an elf!” exclaimed Rose, “Take me to your homelands, Watson!”
“Watson?” asked Selene.
“Yes Watson, I said your name,” commented Rose.
“My name is Selene,” Selene pointed out.
“No it isn’t,” replied Rose.
“And you know because?”
“Because… Watson… I… am… your… grandfather!” exclaimed Rose.
“What you are is insane,” sighed Selene.
“Thank you for the compliment,” said Rose.
"It wasn’t… oh forget it,” said Selene, “I seriously hope my sanity survives this trip.”
“You’re sane?!" exclaimed Rose, “Oh, Guinevere, do not worry, for I shall cure you of that sanity!”
“What the he- wait, Guinevere?” asked Selene.
“Yes, that is your name Lady Cypher Kaine,” explained Rose as if this were the most obvious thing in the world, “To think, you can’t even remember your own name, tsk, tsk.”
Selene closed her eyes. She could already feel a massive headache coming on. “Just come with me,” she sighed.
“Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, where are we going?” asked Rose.
“To the elflands,” sighed Selene.
“Oh, that’s where my husband lives!" exclaimed Rose.
“Yes… we’re… going to see him,” said Selene.
“Oh, wonderful,” said Rose, “Lead the way, Poppycock!”
Selene just sighed and tried to block out as much of Rose’s chattering as she possibly could.
