Concerned over the well being of his comrade, Raphael's eyes were forced down Daevarro's way. Investigating the sounds of struggle, he saw as Daevarro was almost to the top. But the young man had found a plateau, being now nearly exhausted of all energy. His leader above realized this in him, able to see as the moonlit sweat exuded from his pores.

Attempting now to regather himself to try again, Daevarro opened his eyes. But he took notice of a change in his scenery, finding a new rope offered to him. His hazel eyes fell upon a hand reaching out to him, following the arm of the hand up and seeing Raphael outstretched towards him. He wanted to help him out, assist his rise.

The dark-robed young man took ahold of that kindness, very grateful for the help. Raphael then pulled Daevarro up to the top, somewhat requiring muscle behind it. Daevarro's body was fairly light, exerting not a whole lot of strength. He had been pulled to safety, able now to see a ceiling spanning so wide and far that it appeared limitless.

Daevarro rose up from his knees, feeling them sway due to his fatigue. "Thank you, Master Raphael," the young man expressed his appreciation, his voice drained and quiet.

Raphael's purple eyes to him, responding to Daevarro's gratitude with a nod of his head. Doing so without an order, Calvin quickly began disassembling the complex knot he had once constructed. Like a manual referring to the destruction of this knot had been integrated into his brain, he easily ripped apart that which many would consider a puzzle to unravel.

With the rope quickly apprehended, Calvin briskly jogged over to the other side of the wall. His previous actions reenacted but in reverse, tossing the rope down. The moment of its departure, of its nestling into place, he tied the rope to one of the many decorations upon this castle overwhelming to the eyes.

He then turned his torso around, giving his comrades the thumbs-up as confirmation of the rope's successful attachment. They then moved forward, trying to get away from this place as quickly as possible. One-by-one did the group haul themselves down the wall, a rather precarious descent given all the gaudy hazards to avoid.

But the climb down was not nearly as taxing as the scale up, feeling much less strain upon their biceps and forearms. Each individual made it down safely, but Calvin remained up above. He wished to be the last down, wanting to preserve his rope. He quickly knelt down, his fingers flying to untie it once more.

Once finished, he reattached his rope to his belt and proceeded downwards. He threw his body at the scaffolding to his left, scaling down its wooden boards to reach the bottom. He descended as swift as a breeze, a near walk-in-the-park. His feet were solid as they crushed the grass below, turning to his allies who had begun their rather dangerous travel across the tightrope.

Such danger seemed not to draw near, but everyone was just praying that their eyes tried not to wander too far from their heads. They were getting across at their own discretion, in their own fashion. But they couldn't take their time, they had to be carefully fast. If someone even began exhibiting the symptoms of falling, Libitina would quickly spring into action.

Daevarro would be among those unfortunate enough to lose balance in the rush, an exclamation mark flying above his head. His eyes widened, feeling as his body began to sway like a scale unsure of which way it wished to tip. His arms frantically attempting to regain balance, prompting a sign of worry in certain people.

Libitina launched herself off of her feet, zooming across the air and toward the young man. She caught Daevarro in her arms as his body had begun to drop, landing safe-and-sound on the other side. Once again on solid ground, Libitina allowed Daevarro to stand on his own two feet.

He stood there, embarrassed that he had failed to cross the rope. "Th-thank you," he nervously thanked, stuttering.

Libitina flashed a meek, but gentle smile at him, trying to fight off his negative feelings. "Of course, Paladimri, " she softy responded to his expression of gratitude, loving and tender. Eventually did everyone's feet touch the other shade of grass, finding sanctuary upon the other side. So greatly did they miss this soil, kissing it would be entirely appropriate.

Now that they resided there, they began to cautiously make haste. They had to get away from the castle, as far as possible if need be. They began to take to motion, quietly sneaking around this city littered with nothingness. The skilled eyes and ears of Libitina always peeled, making sure nothing caught them.

But such a task was proving somewhat easy, the deadly assassins having swept effectively across some parts of the city like a sandstorm. But once they got to the eastern side of the city, they had begun to see guards popping up again. This was the residential side of the city, the group able to hear as Solasúian citizens laid asleep in their serenity.

After a bit of a very uneasy travel, the group stood now nearly on the other side of the city. Telvern stopped, looking to the backs of his comrades. "This place should suffice," he stated. "There is no more a need to press on any further."

"Righty-o!" Calvin acknowledged with a cheerful twist in his tongue. "Kereske 'n' the others should be makin' their rounds 'round 'ere any sec now, so..."

A minute or two, the group calmly awaiting that noise. It felt almost as an eternity, but yet the time flew by. The pain of their wait would finally cease, a powerful explosion erupting. The sound was almost like cannon fire, but far more amplified. It hammered at their eardrums, stopping everyone from doing anything, even thinking. They stared toward the source of this sound, and absolutely no one could believe their eyes.

The assassins sliced through the eastern side were not expecting this, paralyzed just as much. The soldiers watched with eyes as wide as baseballs, their jaws suspended low. The source of the explosion came from the Earl's castle, but it was not the sound that truly ripped the very air from their lungs.

They watched on utter horror, unable to stop it. Their vision able to capture as the castle's structure rippled and swayed, the small island that it sat upon could not take it any longer. As Telvern believed, the explosion was well enough to completely decimate the foundation. The castle began to falter piece-by-piece, literally collapsing inside of itself, a thick layer of dust engulfing the place.

Those inside the castle sleeping were awoken quite rudely, finding large portions of the ceiling raining upon them like a hailstorm of stone. The castle began to fail, and absolutely none of those inside knew how to react. Some attempted to dash out as fast as they could, but the ceiling would cave in on top of them. They were flattened, crushed under the massive, heavy stone.

What a horrible sight for those inside, seeing the broken bodies of their comrades reduced to massive puddles of blood and insides, squashed like they were a bug under the heel of a titan. People panicked, so completely terrified, finding their surroundings turning against them. Those much-despised lead pipes seeking their revenge, dropping from the ceiling and splitting open heads.

Desperate shouts of those inside calling out to their allies filled the air, followed shortly behind unforgettable, blood-curdling screams of absolute fear. The archer towers failing, dragging archers down into the abyss. They frantically cried, trying to keep themselves from falling down with the floor. But they failed, plummeting straight down to their deaths.

The overly massive, overwhelmingly decorated structure fell completely apart like it were made of building blocks, one single push tore the whole thing down. The group was at a pleasant spot for the destruction, a panned-out view like the back-row seats in a theater. They stood here at the eastern square, surrounded by a multitude of buildings varying in purpose.

Looking on, Raphael, Daevarro, Calvin, Shinon, Shakir, and even Libitina were rather stunned by the pure power as it completely tore the castle to shreds, rendered breathless, speechless. Telvern had a rather callous outlook upon it, lacking any emotion that the others acutely possessed. It was necessary course-of-action in his mind, and that's all that needed to be said of it.

In a matter of moments, the castle was there and gone. Those inside laid hopelessly beneath the rubble, smashed under hundreds of tons of stone. Those who fell unconscious awakened to find their world torn, the intense ringing in their ears pushed their way into their heads. Some enduring so much suffering that they outright cried, desperately begged for death, broken whimpers and groans whispering such desire.

Some who survived took quite a while to try to grasp just what had happened, finding their eyes looking down and finding parts of themselves -- limbs, halves of their bodies -- pinned under heavy debris. They felt themselves almost normal, feeling a tolerable amount of pain even as their bodies were stuck under the rubble. Using all their might, they pried themselves out quickly, wanting to get out there and find the perpetrators of this most heinous act.

But such an action would be their undoing, suddenly feeling the most excruciating agony beyond anything they could ever imagine. They let horrific screams so loud and painful that their vocal cords felt like they could rupture, tears cascading down their face. Their lungs pushing out rapid, shallow breathes as an immense tidal wave of confusion crashed overhead.

Beyond them, they could see others trampled under the debris, could make out the moans and pleads. Some perhaps fortunate souls killed almost instantly by the attack, those around able to see their bloodied, smashed visages soulless and without the light of life. Such sights and sounds instilled a hysterical panic in them, a combination of their injuries and the situation upon them sending them into shock.

Back with the group, Telvern then heard something, the thoughts of others demanding to know what just happened. In this moment, Libitina's ears had begun to catch the sound of multiple doors bursting open. Multiple folks blasted open their ways to the outside, their glowing eyes finding the group standing there, out-of-place.

But these weren't just ordinary people, but soldiers off-duty. They were Solasúian soldiers who lived in Ormemel, not requiring to forfeit their homes or stay in the castle in order to perform their duty. They had no time to suit up in their armour, grabbing their weapons and demanding their loved ones stay indoors.

Their eyes widened as they took in the view, a lucid picture of utter mayhem depicted before them. Their jaws hung open, unable to believe or even fathom what exactly was going on. But they were soldiers through-and-through, they mustn't let such matters distract them. "There!" shouted one of the off-duty soldiers, lashing his finger at the group. "Kill them!"

Each party removed their weapons from their hiding places, putting them to work. They called upon them, requiring the wage of battle. The off-duty soldiers then stormed towards the group like lightning, coming in as hot and as deadly. Their steps the thunder in that storm, booming across the night air.

Being shrouded in soldiers, Telvern very quickly reached his hand for the bag at his waist. They needed to fend themselves, quickly dispose of these soldiers. For the most part were the soldiers of the city taken care of, so the genius went without concern. A familiar that can dispose of the soldiers, intimidate them, so he knew exactly which one he wanted.

The battle had rapidly begun in earnest, the overwhelming chaos of steel upon steel echoing inside the skull of each participate. The Lamians did their best to defend themselves, but they weren't exactly the grandest of warriors. Regardless of such a restriction, they had to try. The soldiers waltzed with the black robes, each cutting down the ranks of the other in near equal measure.

The soldiers and the assassins took swings at each other, some proving fatal while others didn't. Many of the Lamians stood beside Raphael, knowing well of whom resided beside him. Daevarro stuck by him as well, trying to best to fight off a rather hateful thirst for brutal murder upon all soldiers surrounding them.

Putting up a fight against the Solasúian soldiers was a bit precarious, some of them still rather intoxicated from the party. Their movement swaying and stumbling, their behavior unpredictable as they took risks that most normally wouldn't take. Some risks actually bore reward, catching their opponent off-guard. But such a tactic was simply foolish, most being punished.

Shakir and Calvin stood closely by Libitina, guarding her with their lives. They knew that their brothers and sisters could handle themselves, allowing their minds to worry over Libitina. The grim, grit faces of those touched by the blade scarred the memory of those engaged in this battle, bodies struck down and fallen.

They laid upon the white stone-brink, staining it once more with the familiar shade of red. It was a color that tainted the name of the glorious city of the White Knights, so usual did it become that those around had begun to accept it as a part of life. Screams and wails infiltrated the atmosphere as the group did into Ormemel, a discreet, but incredibly brutal fashion.

The smell of death hung as if it wore a rather putrid cologne, a grotesque smell of the disembowelment of a person as their guts hit the floor in a horrible, stomach-turning, squishy sound. Even as the fight intensified, Telvern was still rummaging through his bag. One of the soldiers took notice of whatever it was that Telvern was doing, quickly choosing him as his first victim in this conflict.

The genius wasn't even concern with defending himself, knowing that he wasn't going to get hurt even as the footsteps of the soldier increasingly grew in strength. The soldier gunning for Telvern was intercepted, Raphael's body quickly dove forward and tackled him down. He wasn't going to let Telvern die, he needed him to give the answers which he sought the most.

The soldier slammed into the ground, feeling the combination of his weight as well as Raphael's drop solely upon his right side. But that truly was not the thing wrong here, feeling a sharp pain stabbing into his left side. His teal blue eyes terrified, looking down and finding his own blood creeping up alongside him. Raphael had pierced him, his sword Falcon finding a way through him via his left side.

The silver-haired heir then twisted his blade around inside the wound to inflict more damage, then quickly ripping it out. The minute of Raphael's attack upon the soldier would finally see Telvern retrieve his pouch of his seemingly bottomless bag of other pouches, pulling it up before him. He put his thumb to the extremely frail cloth encased the power, very quickly swiping it across.

His thumb severed the pouch, a radiant white light erupting from inside. Twin flames of whiteish-blue suddenly appeared from behind the genius Telvern, but those flames began to spiral upwards. It seemed to be making a figure, a strange, towering, humanoid shape. The brilliant fire became conjoined the moment that it appeared to make a lower body for something, moving up to create a bulky, heavy upper body.

The Solasúian soldiers knew not what to think of it, their lungs fully occupied with breath. A head was formed from the flame, and a pair of terrifying, gleaming yellow eyes beamed down upon the unfortunate souls caught in its way. A being was forged in the bright, billowing flames: the massive Steel Titan. It was a fifteen foot, armoured menace, its cold, soulless eyes peering across the battlefield.

The genius crossed his arms the moment of his familiar's birth, gazing upon the dazzled faces of his enemies. "Go, my titan," ordered Telvern. "Kill our enemies."

Abiding the command of its master, the still giant then took to animation. Its large legs stomping down upon the ground, a strange metallic creak crying out from its joints as it moved. Its face turning from left to right, apathetically scanning the battlefield.

Seeing this creature take form, one of the off-duty soldiers -- a female Solasúian fair skinned with long, dirty-blonde hair -- pointed towards Telvern. "The summoner!" she hollered out to her comrades. "If he bring him down, then the monster shall fall with him!"

Everyone around digested that information, trying their best to fight off their opponents to get to Telvern. The genius himself was quite surprised of this Solasúian's words, having not expected any of them to understand where exactly his creature came from. Regardless, he had to proceed on with caution.

The struggle cropped up everywhere upon this fighting plane, the collision of metal ringing out in the air. One somewhat drunken soldier took the female Solasúian's advice, dropping everything and just foolhardily aiming for the genius. He threw caution to the wind, taking up a devil-may-care tactic, bolting for Telvern with sword in hand.

The titan took notice of this upcoming attack, turning its attention to that soldier. Seeing as the titan appeared distracted, the female Solasúian who shouted out the command took advantage. She used her comrade like bait, allowing him to lure the titan's attention. She dashed forward, coming for Telvern now that he was no longer under the protection of his titan.

From her left, she could make out the view of her stupidly headstrong ally get absolutely smashed. He had attempted to evade, but his feet weren't swift enough, stumbling. He got planted into the ground like a seed, completely flattened. She drew in close to Telvern, her speed making her rather difficult for the genius to keep up with.

From a slight distance did ireful hazel eyes take notice of Telvern's plight, watching him have quite a dance with this soldier. Many times did it cost him, getting cuts and fists thrown his way. Daevarro's mind like seeing through red, something whispering inside of him. Its voice so captivating, so sweet to his mind, yet the things it spoke to him were so iniquitous, so savage. That Solasúian was quite capable, that inclination selling it to him like a salesmen pushing his wares.

Daevarro believed in his heart that he needed to intervene in the genius' affairs, not desiring the death of an ally. This almost sinister impulse dealt him a reasonable price, but he didn't truly know if it were a great deal or just a scam. The young man quickly looked up at Telvern's Steel Titan, his eyes meticulously dissecting every detail upon that creature.
