(previous post was a test for something, so that's why it's so short. xD)

The armour that encased him made a strange, high-pitched chinking sound as he sluggishly walked to the island of wood in the sea of majorelle blue carpet. "So little progress has been made," he continued to speak to himself. "It almost seems like I'm chasing after a shadow of the past." His thighs come close to the trimmed edging of the mahogany table.

His upper body bent down closer to the wooden surface with his arms reaching down to the table, placing the tea cup and plate down upon the mahogany earth. He reeled his body back up straight, his eyes drawn into looking deep inside the cup. In his reflection, he appeared almost hypnotized as he gazed into a small little drop of tea left inside the cup.

He stood there silent and still beside the table, not even his breath made a single moment. His mind went quiet like a night of snow falling gently from the sky. "Divus always thought it best to just let go of you," the prince stated to himself, his once relaxed hands quickly clenched together. "He thought that you were abducted by those humans and executed!"

Just as that moment of thought came to Balor, he quickly steered his body away from the small cup on the table. His body turned to the left and then his eyes faced the portrait of the one he so desperately desired to find. He continued to stand there and stare into her beautiful pale blue eyes that gazed out to the prince as if she were there in front of him.

"I never thought that," Balor declared, speaking out loud to Lucia as if she were there. "Divus told me to give up on you, to discard you like you were garbage! He did it so easily to his own daughter, but I... I could never, because I know that you're out there, sister."

The longevity of the night dissipated slowly but surely, behind its echoes of darkness was the warming light of the day. It consumed the sky in a vast ocean of oranges and blues, a beautiful image painted across the heavens. The sun was out and about upon this Autumn morning, the air held at about 55 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind gently passed by people, fiddling with the long hair of any upon this day.

A whole another day was upon the kingdom with the crowning of a new king just around the bend, talk of this spread like wildfire all across the capital. It was just nigh of 10am around the market district, loud murmurs of conversation regarding tomorrow's events took control over everything. A sea of bodies of both locals and travelers streamed through the district like a series of tidal waves.

Stuck inside the rough seas were four hooded figures, the four from the Lumbridge Resistance. Raphael, Elena, Uriel and Malik wore hoods over their heads which covered most of their face. The young silver haired man wore an entire hooded cloak which reached down to his ankles. The four were in a formation that was in the shape of a diamond.

Raphael was walking as the right part of the diamond while Uriel was on his opposite side. Malik was at the front and Elena was at the back. They curved around bodies as the air continued to be hit with word after word. Raphael looked towards Elena who was just behind him. "So you guys do this everyday?" he curiously questioned.

Elena's left hand was tightly clenched onto Uriel's right shoulder, making sure that he doesn't get separated from the three. She quickly shook her head. "Not everyday," she answered. "Just around the times when we come to a city controlled by the Imperial Kingdom."

Raphael raised his eyebrows. "Oh," Raphael quickly realized. "So exactly why are you guys here anyways?"

"Lord Malik believed that Balor was about to make his move," Elena explained. "So we came here to stop him from assassinating King Divus. We were making the preparations to enter the kingdom once we got here which was when you found us. Had we known that Balor was going to...kill the king that very night, we would have stopped him."

"I would have too," Raphael sorrowfully mumbled. "But...I wasn't strong enough."

Elena turned her face to Raphael with a light smile on her face. She places her right hand on Raphael's left shoulder. This took Raphael's attention, he turned to Elena. "Don't beat yourself up about it," the young archer sympathized. "Balor was expecting you."

Two gods were speaking to each other to Raphael's right. A woman that was behind a wooden stall with many different fruits and vegetables. There was a man in front of her, his head approached closely to the woman. "Yeah," said the woman."Can you believe that our "king" actually died to the hands of a human? It's an absolute embarrassment to us."

Elena's head turned to her right where the man and woman were talking. Her pale blue eyes gaze upon them. Her right hand slithered down from Raphael's shoulder as it clenched tightly into a fist. "You didn't hear this from me," whispered the man who was hunched over the stall. "But Prince Balor said that the scum even confessed to the resistance assassinating both Prince Lelantos and Queen Leena before he was executed."

The woman's eyes shot open like a blast from a shotgun. Elena kept her face towards the back of the man. Raphael turned to Elena and saw that she was looking rather angrily at something. "Are you kidding me!?" the woman gasped. "What, are we run by a bunch of pathetic humans?"

The man let out a smile. "Ha ha," he lightly laughed. "Yeah, I thought the same thing when I heard this."

The woman closed her eyes and smiled. "I can't wait for Prince Balor to become king," she stated. "He's going to give our country the glory it deserves."

Raphael looked towards the very thing that Elena was looking at. He saw the two people at the stall. He quickly looked back at Elena with a look of concern on his face. "What's the matter?" he asked, worried. "Do you know those people?"

Elena began to take in air, filling it into her lungs. She then released it back into the atmosphere, letting out all of her angry that she was experiencing in that moment. She shifted her face towards Raphael, her pale blue eyes gaze vaguely upon his pale skinned face. She shook her head. "No," she softly answered. "I'm fine."

Uriel's eyes shuffled left and right like a paranoid man. He looked at every single face in the crowd, even if he looked at them already. His ears caught wind of a voice that strangely beckoned for his attention. It was coming from another stall to his left that sold jewelry. It was a blonde short haired man that wore a gray tight fitting leather jacket with a frilled shirt underneath it.

Uriel knew for a fact that the man was with the Desert Assassins because of his outfit. He was Calvin Albertia, a man that he has seen before out in this public. Calvin looked at the young woman behind the wooden stall with a smile. "Heya," he happily greeted, bowing to the young woman. He rose his body back up to meet the woman's face. "Ya wouldn't happen ta have some luck charms, would ya?"

The woman crossed her arms. "That depends," she replied, her voice tempered. "Are you one of us or one of them?"

Calvin pulls his hands up into the air to about mid-torso length like a pair of crooked wings. "Oh, ya know," the man continued. "I'm like you only with the different eyes."

""Different eyes" huh?" she quoted. "Sure thing, pal. I've got what you're lookin' for." The woman kneels down onto the stone-lined ground to grab a case that housed just what Calvin was looking for. The man slowly turned his upper body to his left while his face stares at whatever was originally behind him.

His face and pale blue eyes gaze upon the visage of the young boy of the Lumbridge Resistance who immediately recognizes him just as he sees the face of the man. Uriel stared angered but overall concerned. Calvin raised his right hand up into the air to about the height of his face and he began to wave it slowly. "Hey," he silently mouthed his greeting to Uriel as a smile rose on his face.

Uriel quickly turned his head over to pathway in front of him. He just focused on the pathway in front of him. The group marched on towards their destination which was a small stone-brick house that they came ever closer to. After thirty minutes of surfing through the waves of people, the group finally made it to the house.

Malik approaches the door into the small house and knocks on the door twice. The clicks are heard like small pecks from a bird. Malik pulls his hand away from the door as he hears footsteps coming closer to the door. The door slowly pulls open, revealing the elderly man that Raphael saw with the three before, Ralph.

The old man seemed surprised but not entirely shocked to see Malik and the others at his doorstep. "Malik," he said.

"Ralph," returned Malik. "Did you get the others?"

"Yes," Ralph answered. "I did as you ordered, sire."

Malik shook his head. "Good," Malik stated. "May we?"

Ralph moved his body aside to his right so that the others may come in. "Of course, sir," said Ralph. The four began to walk into the small house. It was about thirty-four feet long and the ceiling was just under sixteen feet high. The four walked into the house of wooden board floors with two other people standing on the opposite side of the room.

One was male and the other was a female. The man was encased in an armour that resembled the White Knights armour. His head was the only thing not in armour but it was held under his left arm. It was white Great Helm. His eyes were light blue and glowing, implying that he was a god. His hair was black and buzz cut with a scar vertically across his face.

Raphael gazed upon the man with glowing eyes. He seemed surprised to see a god on the side of humans. The woman seemed like the combination of a magic user and a wielder of a sword. She had a pouch of runes strapped to her waist. She wore a dark gray leather hide armour that had no sleeves. Her teal blue sleeves were made of cloth that went like the sleeves of a robe.

She did wear dark gray leather chaps which covered her legs entirely. She wore leather boots and she wore a teal blue waist length cape that covers her back. She also wore a hood over her head. Her eyes were cargo green and her hair was chocolate brown. She wore a stern look on her face as her arms are crossed.

Raphael's eyes began peering all across the room they were in. The room they were in appeared to be the living room, two weak wooden chairs stood at the upper and lower right corner of the room. The floor underneath Raphael's feet was made of wood which tapped as he and his comrades took their steps onto it.

The floor was buckled up in some spots, rusty iron nails stand up like spears from the floor. The walls were made of stone-brinks that had many cracks. They were two tables in the room, one in the center of the room and one to the north of the room. The wooden table in the middle had an unlit candlestick in the center of it.

To the west of the room was a stone-brink unlit fireplace that looks like it hasn't been touched in years. The four stopped walking just as they all are entirely into the house with thick air that shook strangely with intensity. Ralph slowly closed the door behind them as he then tightly clenched his left hand around the doorknob. He twists the doorknob quickly and a faint click snaps into the air.

Raphael, Malik and Uriel began to pulled down their hoods. Ralph turned his eyes towards the young man with silver hair as he began to walk into the middle of the room. His travel was not very fast given his age. "So," the old man spoke. "This is the young man you told me about?"

The buzz-cut man immediately recognized Raphael, his glowing eyes gazed furiously at the young man. "Why the hell is he here!?" angrily asked the man to Malik, turning his face towards his master. "Malik, I thought you knew better than to bring an imperial dog to us!"

Elena's ears caught the harsh comment made by the armoured man. She quickly moved his face towards the man. "Fionnlagh, please," she said. "Raphael isn't like that!"

The stern looking woman closed her eyes. "Oh, would you shut up, Fionnlagh?" growled the woman. "I'm sure Lord Malik has his reasons."

Malik turned his eyes over to Fionnlagh. "Clara is right," stated Malik. "I do have my reasons."

Raphael threw his upper body down, bowing to the three. "My name is Raphael Béla," introduced Raphael softly, recoiling his body back up straight. "I'm sorry if my presence here is a discomfort but I am here to stop Prince Balor."

Ralph got to the middle of the room. He puts his wooden cane in the center of him, placing both of his hands on it. "Who we were in the past has no bearing on who we are in the present." commented the old man.

Fionnlagh shuffled his face away from Malik and away from the group. "I guess you're right," he believed, his words losing hold of it's previous anger. "I still don't like the idea of one of them being among us."

Malik scrolled his eyes from Ralph to the angered Fionnlagh to the irritated looking Clara. "I'm sure you have every understanding as to why I've called you here today." said Malik.

Clara opened her eyes, gazing upon her master. "Because of tomorrow," she answered. "Right?"

Malik shook his head, confirming Clara's answer. "Tomorrow will be our most important mission yet," the master stated. "If Balor becomes the king then humans will be put in a state far worse than the state we're already in."

Ralph shook his head. "Yes," corresponded the old man. "We must stop him."

Raphael looks all around to each of the people in the room. "But..." he mumbled. "We don't have to kill him, do we?"

Uriel, Fionnlagh, Clara, and Ralph turned to Raphael. Some were disgusted by what Raphael had suggested and others were shocked. The armoured man bared a fierce look on his face. "Are you an idiot!?" angrily growled Fionnlagh. "Of course we have to kill him! He has seen people get killed before him and he hasn't shown a single inch of care!"

Clara shook his head. "Yes," she agreed. "He has even killed his own kind without care."

Uriel closed her eyes once again. "What do you expect?" the child asked. "He's been born to lick the boots of his superiors."

Elena moved her head to each of those who have spoken. "Everybody," she spoke out. "Please stop! It's not Raphael's fault that he feels that way!"

Ralph gazed his eyes to Elena. "Are you saying that you agree with him, Elena?" calmly asked the old man.

Elena twisted her attention onto the wrinkled face of the old man. "I don't think he deserves to be killed," she answered. "I think he deserves to be justly punished for what he has done."

Fionnlagh looked away from the group, his face masked in anger. "Of course you do," he spitefully growled. "Because you're too weak to accept the idea of killing someone."

Uriel glares his eyes over at Fionnlagh. "No," he yelled. "She's too strong to accept the idea of revenge, the very tool that drives us all! And we're all too weak to fight for another reason!"

Malik folded his hands together behind his black cassock and closed his eyes. "Enough!" shouted Malik, becoming tired of this argument. His commanding shout froze the voices of all that spoke. Malik's eyes quickly flip open. "What drives us or what we desire has no relevance. What is relevant is what goes on tomorrow and what we intend to do that day."

Ralph moved his head from one side of the room and the other. "When tomorrow comes," he said. "We must fight through hordes of knights who will more than likely be expecting us. Be it the Imperial Knights or the Loyal Knights of the Royal Family, they all will suspect our coming."

Malik shook his head, turning his head to Elena. "I know you don't want to kill Balor," he whispered to Elena, placing his left hand on her shoulder. "And I am not going to force you to do anything. But we're going to need you for that very moment, all right?"

Elena closed her eyes and shook her head slowly. "Yes, sir," she mumbled, acknowledging her orders.

Malik focused his eyes upon the three others. "We will storm the castle and blend with the crowd who that will gather there. When Balor does come out, Clara and Elena will target him from afar. I need you two to make accurate shots. The rest of us will deal with the knights that will surely come for us when the time comes. Everybody clear?"

"Yes sir!" everybody acknowledged, placing their clenched right hand onto the center of the chest. Just as the Lumbridge Resistance acknowledged their orders and readied themselves for battle, the day quickly faded and night came and went as swiftly as a breeze. Finally, the day was upon them, the day of the crowning.

All were prepared to fight, all were ready to die if necessary. At 7:53 am, a surge of people began to flood into the Imperial Palace. The entrance room into the palace looked like a sea of people of all different stripes. A tide of eyes glowing all gaze up at the top of the staircase to the upstairs portion of the kingdom.

Their eyes eager, their hearts full of joy. They were ready to finally welcome a king that they approved. The commotion and talk of people that were extremely pleased that the day has finally come had been invited into the air. A smell of many different people came too. Everyday gods talked to each other, nothing seemed to be wrong for the moment.

As the crowd waited with patience, the peering eyes of the knights gaze with caution into the crowd. Their hands kept to the handle of their swords, they were given the order to attack anyone they found the least bit suspicious. Outside of the Imperial Palace's walls, the Lumbridge Resistance were getting ready to attend too.

Raphael was in the room he had become familiar with, the room where he spent ten days in a life and death situation. He was laying in his bed, prepared and ready for the future ahead of him. He latched his left hand onto the sheets that cloaked his body and tossed them away from his body. He leaped out from the cotton arms of his sleeping place and began to ready himself physically.
