Thanks, I did this on microsoft word, and although it catches most of the spelling mistakes, it doesn't always get the grammar mistakes. (As you can imagine, after I type out 45 chapters of text, it isn't easy to catch every single mistake.)

By the way, it surprises me that you replied so fast after the post on the clan forums. Have you read it all already? Hehe maybe you're a speedreader like me...

@ScriptMak3r: Wheeeeeere are you?

Chapter XXXX

Lumbridge was saved, as was Camelot, but Falador, Varrock, and Yannile were on the verge of defeat. Ardougne was still lasting, but it wouldn’t be long before they were overrun by numbers.

Zemouregal had been badly beaten by Gregory in the end, and had fled to the Wilderness to regenerate.

“King Arthur, I need your help.”

“What is it Gregory? Have we not won victory?”

“We have... here. But four other cities are under attack, and we must save them. I need the aid of your knights to save them.”

“Where are we needed?”

“Varrock is under attack by Lucien, Falador by Khazard, Ardougne by Hazeel, and Yanille by an army of ogres and an army of undead creatures. I need Merlin to go with at least five knights to Varrock, and the rest to go to Yanille.”

“I will help you. Merlin, Knights, go to the aid of the lands of Runescape! I will come with Merlin to Varrock.”

“Thank you for your aid.”

“I will fight to the death!” roared Eric, “and no force of yours will cause me to despair!”

“You are a fool,” growled Lucien, “for you know what awaits you. I will not kill you, and I will torture you in the abyss until you despair. Then, and only then, will you die.”

“So be it!”

Lucien paused for a moment, and as he did his entire army paused as well, as if their actions were directly controlled by his will. Then he cast back his cloak, and his flaming skull was revealed. His height grew as well, and he rose to be eighteen feet tall.

Raising the Staff of Armadyl, Lucien gave out a roar, and a twirling ball of purple energy rushed through the air at Eric.

Eric was not entirely untrained in magic as Lucien thought, for as the ball of energy was about to touch him, Eric muttered an incantation, and a white glowing shield formed itself around him.

The purple ball did not have its desired effect, but it was still lethal. As it hit Eric’s shield, the shield burst, and the weakened ball of energy hit Eric. He cried out in pain and fell to the ground, but the energy had been weakened enough to not destroy his will and teleport him, as Lucien intended.

“Hahahaha, you have survived my first stroke, but what about my second?”

Lucien raised his staff once more, and cast the spell again.

At that moment, there was a huge thunderclap, and a flash of light, and all the evil creatures inside the city began to cry out.

Merlin jumped up to the wall beside Eric, and held his staff out to the purple ball of energy which Lucien had cast. The ball was sucked into the staff, and Merlin cast it back at Lucien.

He then whispered an incantation over Eric, and he was relieved from the great pain received by the spell. He jumped up, and cast a fire spell at Lucien. Lucien, after absorbing the spell which Merlin had reflected back to him, began to do battle with Merlin.

The tall and destructive Mahjarrat against the small and insignificant wizard: an unfair match to the unknowing eye. But in this hour, Merlin revealed his true power.

“Lucien, son of the Mahjarrat, have fear!! You are fighting a power far greater than yourself. I am an agent of the power of Saradomin, and he channels his abilities through me.”

Merlin suddenly began to radiate, and the sky became dark. Merlin’s feet came off the wall, and he levitated up to be eye-level with Lucien.

“Surrender, Lucien, for you know not what you fight.”

“I will never surrender!! You forget that I have the staff of a god, and I can channel its power into you!”

The battle began: flashes of power went back and forth, as the sky became darker and darker. The knights in the city finished off the rest of the evil creatures inside, and the guards on the walls held back the rest of Lucien’s army, but the battle was far from over.

Khazard, we know your power. We know that we will die this day. But we will never give. If we surrender, you will kill us anyway, so far better to die in battle then to die in a prison.”

“You are a courageous fool. I will give you gifts and glory if you surrender and join my army. You will be lords over the lands. You will have great power. Haw can you turn this down?”

“You know that is a lie. The Mahjarrat never share their power, so why should they start now?*

Khazard stared down at John. John’s mind was being invaded by thoughts of surrender, likely enchantments of Khazard. The knights were beginning to waver, when Khazard made his final decision.

He drew his sword. It gleamed with a purple and green flame, getting brighter every moment. He swung it up, and as it came down, there was a flash of lightning.

The lightning bolt came out of a clear sky, and struck the ground just between Khazard and the last line of knights. As their shock and vision recovered from the immense amount of light, they saw Gregory standing there.

“Khazard, this is not your hour. Not... yet.”

As he said this, Gregory raised his swords into the air and closed his eyes. There was a tremor in the earth; the sky grew dark as if clouds were forming out of thin air. The winds began to blow a gale, and the water in the moat rose.

Khazard looked about with an alarmed look in his eyes, and swung his sword at Gregory.

“You cannot kill me that easily, Khazard.”

Gregory swung one of his swords up to parry, and at the same time jumped up to Khazard’s chest, stabbing him in the chest with the other sword, which had been charged to such an extent that is was as bright as the sun.

Khazard let out a roar, as the now black sky began to rain and let loose lightning, and a hurricane sent objects flying about. Khazard teleported away, screaming as he vanished.

“Come on!” yelled Gregory, and as he turned his head towards the knights for a moment, his friends saw his face for the first time since the start of the Mahjarrat’s attack.

His face was set in a furious grin, with his eyebrows down and all the muscles in his face flexed. But most alarming of all, his eyes were like two red-hot coals, flaming with rage and blood-lust.

Gregory jumped, and the hurricane, by his direction, drew him up two hundred feet into the air, and he cast spells like rain down upon the tens of thousands of remaining foes. The knights that were formerly trapped in the castle charged out, and slaughtered the fleeing enemy. As they ran north, away from the city, suddenly there was a quake, and the earth split right in their path. A few hundred fell, several hundred more threw themselves in to avoid getting killed by their pursuers, and the rest turned, to face their enemy.

Gregory flew down, and landed thirty feet away from their line.

“I will wash the filth away from this place as I wash mud down a drain.”

Opening his hands, water poured forth, and little by little, the entire army lost their grip, and fell into the earth.
