Chapter XXXV
“A trainer you say? A trainer... Well I just got a man who joined us as a sword specialist, by the name of Ronden Sentathame, but we just call him Ron. He is a very skilled fencer and swordfighter, and can work admirably with any weapon, be it a rapier or a heavy two handed-sword. If you want him as a private trainer, however, then you will have to pay a heavy due, because he gets a very, very high rate here. What do you say?”
“I can pay any rate, what do you pay him here?”
“Here, at the Warrior’s Guild, we pay him 50k a day! He trains people all day long, and I have to say, he does very well. He is not as good at fighting as me, but he is a better trainer.”
“Very good. Tell him I am willing to pay him 75k per day for training only 19 people. I’m sure you will want him back, but I will only need him for a few months. I’ll be back tomorrow.”
“Ok then, see you soon.”
Gregory had just been at the Warrior’s Guild, in the guise of a random young man, talking to the leader of the guild. He needed someone to train him and the rest of his group how to use a sword. Gregory himself had been training his group how to use magic, permitting them to use the runes, and helping them in their strategy. However, he needed to learn how to use a sword well.

“Hello, I have returned. Will Ronden come with me?”
“Yes, he said he would. Ronden, come, this will be your new employer.”
“Hello,” said Ronden, “ It is nice to meet you. I was quite surprised at your high wage, especially for so few people. I frequently work with over 50 people a day.”
“Yes, it is a very special training, and we will need the best possible help in a very short time. Are you ready to come?”
“I suppose I am. How will you pay me?”
“At the end of each day, I will supply you with your wage for that day.”
“Very good. Let us go.”
