The journey was long across the bleak landscape. Thega met them on the edge of Lora, and the five of them departed into the wilderness. The cold gray hills of Freneskae came one after another in their way. There was no clear path; therefore, Souga and Thega seemed to wander aimlessly between them. The voyage continued for hours on end, until Sliske surmised it to be close to noon. Then, out of nowhere, Thega announced, 'He knows we have arrived.'
"Telepathy?" asked Zaros, and Thega nodded.
'He is ready to meet you,' Thega added.
They finally approached a hill that stood much taller than the rest. Half of it was cut off, however, so when it reached its crest it simply dropped off vertically, forming a smooth wall. At the base of this wall was a doorway, and in this doorway stood a figure. He stood tall, his head almost reaching the top of the frame. His hair was white, and his skin was as pale as any Mahjarrat. He wore long emerald robes with a silver insignia on the front. His eyes were equally green, and they stared calmly up at the approaching party.
'Here, we will leave you,' Souga said as they saw the Green Lord.
"You aren't even going to talk to him?" asked Sliske.
'We have already finished our pleasantries telepathically,' Thega explained. 'We shall return to Lora. If ever you wish to return, we will always welcome you with open arms.'
They all nodded and bid their farewells. Then, Thega and Souga turned and departed into the distance.
The group then turned and walked over to the door. The man smiled. "Greetings, Emperor Zaros," he said.
"Greetings, Green Lord," Zaros replied.
"Please, I can do without that title," he responded. "Call me Tsugon."
"The true Tsugon of Thida?" asked Azzanadra, curious.
The man's face darkened. "The very same. The infamous thief of the Khanu orbs and brother of Thaduka. Now please, come inside. I will answer your questions before we begin."
"Begin what?" asked Zaros.
"Why, your training of course!"

*whistle* haven't checked for a while and there was a few adds :D though you'd think that as a god Zaros would still be able to pull off miracles, and doesn't need more training... unless Godhood's overrated =/

"Training?" asked Zaros, confused.
"Of course!" Tsugon replied. "Is that not why you're here?"
"We came to gain knowledge of Khanu," Azzanadra said. "But we did not know you planned to train us in it!"
"Well, not all of you," Tsugon said. "I thought only Zaros was interested."
"Who told you this?" asked Zaros, and even as he asked he knew the answer.
"One called Ihrba*ka. He claimed to be an emmissary of yours, and he told me that Khanu was your only chance to defend yourself."
Zaros lowered his gaze. He grimaced, and then he replied, "He's right. I want your training."
"Good! Let's go inside first. We can discuss things there."
Tsugon led them into the hillside home. The inside of his dwelling looked very much like a Xinadi house, with the walls adorned with green tapestries and silver. The corridors were carved from the rocky hill in a maze, and Tsugon led them through turn after turn until they finally arrived in a small room with a stone table in the center. The table was affixed to the floor, and Zaros saw that it was part of the same stone of the hill. When the builder of the cave had created this home, he just carved the room around it, leaving the tabletop untouched. Zaros was blown away by the artistry.
Tsugon sat them all around the table, and then he gave them all some drinks. It was, of course, green, but it had a taste that most closely resembled tea. "Ah, this is ethira, a favorite of the Lora tribe," Tsugon said before he took a sip of his own. "I picked up a thing or two from them."
"May I ask you something?" asked Azzanadra.
"My story, right?"
"Of course."
Tsugon sighed. "My story is not a pleasant one. I've had my fair share of tragedies."
"We know," Zaros interjected. "A storyteller Sendoa told us about your exile. We were just curious about how you've been around here for around eight thousand years."
Tsugon nodded. "I see. That does need some explaining. I'll start from the beginning."
