Your stories are always much better than RuneScape itself actually is. It's a pity that they only last a few mins... :(

Also, can we have a little more description on the staff? (unless that would complicate a few things for you)

Oh the other hand... I now wear a fez! :D I'm not sure for how long but it's epic, isn't it?

Bump! Toby, I'll provide a little more description the next time we see it.

I only plan to accept one bio for this story, and it's already been filled (Yes, I'm including him, Toby, but it'll be a little while before he appears)

More adds coming tomorrow!

Chapter Four: Vision of the Seer

"An intruder approaches, my Lord!" barked one of the sentries along the rim of the hill.

Kazla looked out over the makeshift wall, into the shadowy Wilderness beyond. He spotted the two men immediately. "Well, at least it isn't that accursed dragon," he said to the sentry. "Gather the guards. We can dispatch these fools with ease."

The sentry nodded. "Yes, sir!" He took off down the steps into the small cavern below.

Kazla examined the two newcomers. Both were wearing dark cloaks with hoods, but only one was wearing his hood up. The other was allowing his long black hair to show. They were just like any other travelers in the Wilderness. Even though that number had always been small, however, it was increasing due to the ravaging of Zamorakan forces by the silver dragon.

That dragon was the source of woe for the Zamorakans, and it put Kazla in a horrible position. He was in command of a small group of refugees from Xothara, the last site of demolition by the dragon. Dark Lord Kagenzo had died in the battle with the dragon, and so the Zamorakan forces were left without a leader, leaving Kazla the Lord of the remaining forces and making him the Dark Lord in charge of the group that was the smallest and weakest that Zamorak's followers had been in centuries. Kazla had thirty or so survivors in this small cave, but who knew if any existed beyond this shelter?

The sentry returned, four armed guards behind him. "We are ready, my Lord," the guard captain said, holding his blade close.

Kazla nodded. "We shall determine their intentions before we make our move."

"Yes, my Lord," the captain replied.

The two figures approached, and, as they neared the edge of the hill, they stopped. The black haired man looked up, right into Kazla's eyes.

"Ah," the newcomer said, eyeing the welcoming party. "I know that face... What was your name again?"

The captain stepped in front of the Dark Lord, sword bared. "How dare you address the Dark Lord of Zamorak in such a way? He answers to our Lord Zamorak alone!"

The man whose face was uncovered threw back his head and cackled loudly. "Who the hell do you think you're talking to?"

"My Lord," said the hooded man, stepping forward. He removed his hood, revealing the gaunt, pale face beneath. He had his black hair tied back in a ponytail, and his dark eyes looked up at the Dark Lord.

"Karzith!" exclaimed Kazla. "I know him from Xothara," he said in an aside to the guards. "Karzit*, where have you been?"

Karzit* bowed his head. "My Lord, I was sent out on a mission under General Hytha to safeguard the sacred bones of Lord Agaben during the attack."

Kazla gazed deeper, aware of the magnitude of the mission, and said, "What happened? Are they safe?"

"We were attacked by the dragon," Karzit* continued. "And General Hytha and all the others were killed."

"Then who is...?" Kazla began, but the dark haired man cut him off.

"I am Zamorak!" he roared, his voice shaking the wall where the guards and Kazla stood. "Now stand aside and let me in; we have a lot of business to handle."

Kazla and the guards were taken aback by the outburst and especially the pure power it carried. Karzit* looked up to them. "My Lord, this truly is Zamorak. After we were attacked, Lord Agaben's bones were scattered, and then Lord Zamorak put them back together and took over. What he says is the truth."

The men's eyes looked back to Zamorak. He opened the cloak he wore, revealing the bones beneath. The skeleton frame was held together by a pulsating mass of black energy, resembling the style of an Ankou. The three men recoiled at the sight, and, led by Kazla, they fell to the ground, prostrate before their god.

"Forgive us, my Lord," Kazla said, his face in the dust.

Zamorak looked up to them along the wall. "Rise, my followers. Like I said, we have work to do."

They got up, staring fearfully at Zamorak. Zamorak led Karzit* up through the gap in the wall, joining them. "I will claim the title of Dark Lord, if that is alright with you, Kazla," he said.

"Of course, my Lord," Kazla replied, trying to avoid looking the god directly in the eye.

"Good. Karzit*, you and Kazla follow me. As you were," he added to the guards, who scurried along the wall to do something, anything to get them out of the presence of the returned god.

--------

Zamorak took his seat at the round table deep in the underground compound. Karzit* sat on his right, and Kazla took his place at his left, all at equal distances around the table . "Gentlemen," Zamorak began, morphing his face from the dark haired human to a more beastly look, with tan skin and reminiscent of a beat-demon cross. His eyes also changed from jet black to piercing red, filled with the pure, undaunted look of chaos. "Now that we're comfortable, we must get to work. You two are my Generals now, so we must plan for my domination of this world."

"My Lord, we are at your service," Kazla replied.

"Excellent," Zamorak replied. "Now, firstly, what is the reaction amongst the people?"

"Generally, my Lord, they are thrilled," Karzit* spoke up. "They would fight at the wave of a hand."

"That is what I wanted to hear. I need a strong base to begin my attack."

"My Lord," said Kazla, "I have few people here, for not many survived the slaughter at Xothara. We will need many more to formulate any sort of attack, and they will not come with the silver dragon patrolling the skies."

Zamorak scowled. "I am aware of this. But there are many Zamorakans in hiding all over the Wilderness, enough to build an army. We must gather them, and for that we will need larger accommodations."

"Where are you suggesting, my Lord?" asked Karzit*.

Zamorak gave a wide grin. "We are going to rebuild the Palace of Agaben."
