Darn, Verac smokes again. The Full Helm didn't stop him.

Have him go to this website (just googled how to quit smoking and this looked like it might work for him) so
he can quit once and for all and be completely perfect
(my favorite Barrow Brother).

Verac is my favorite because I love flails for some reason, have since I first got into swords and sorcery kind of stuff. Then when I started RuneScape and as a noob stumbled upon the Barrows in the Knowledge Base, I loved flails even more because I saw what Verac's set's special was. I'm a very poor kinda-not-really-noob and have 1.1m, saving up for the set. And a whip. And maybe Ahrim Set after that. Maybe Infinity for until I get 70 mage. Probably a Cannon too. Before the Ahrim. To get up my 56(?) range.

Ahrim is my second favorite because I like magic more than any other combat type, the Flail Category of Melee being the only exception. Ancients FTW, even though I only have 54 Magic and haven't done Desert Treasure.

Guthan next, probably. I like the whole HP drain concept.

Then Dharok, but if RuneScape was exactly as your story, Karil having wings, Karil before him. Strong=cool/good, Slow=very bad, so that's why Dharok is down here. Range=not that cool when it's 1-use ammo and a c'bow weaker than a normal one, but FAST(er than a normal c'bow)=good.

Toe Rag last. Tiny little hammers. And two of them. UGH! I despise the name almost as much as the weapon special. Tor-ag. Toe-rag. Dummy. Energy drain.

Karil the tainted: Set special. Temporarilly grow wings making you immune to melee damage, range damaged increased 10%.

Hehehe..

Verac will never stop smoking, if he did his nerves would go through the roof and he'd go on a killing spree, it'd be a very sad day. Also, it's ironic you fell in love with veracs armour, it was always a side goal i had, boy when i got it i was so happy, i sold it earned more cash and now i have it, plus a whip, plus extra armour for everything else, so it's nice to have.

Ahrim is one of my favourite characters as well, ruthlessness has always been something i've liked, don't ask why, because i don't know myself.

Anicent magic is lovely in castle wars, i was addicted to ice burst, it was soo fun, and for a time there i had myself a nice system, i barrowed and used all my chaos runes on ice burst and all of my extra cash for better maging gear, i ended up with full ah w/ staff, it's pretty awesome.

Guthan happens to be the only barrow set i don't have, i'd love to get it though.

Dharok is pretty sweet, thoguh i've never hitten over a 40 or so with it.

Toe-rag, lol. His special and weapons may fail hard, but the cheap and effective defence it offers is unmatchable.

Thief, i'll let you know this much, i do indeed have a plot worked out for "Story of da barrows 2" but beyond that i'm not telling anything else about it.

Also guys, i'm tierd, there might not be a chapter tonight, but hey maybe there will be? <.<

Chapter 35: The last assault.

As the brothers looked around they noticed eric was bloodied and battered, so was most of what was left of the army.

The brothers lulu eric akane and clare gathered togather.

"So, how many more men do you have left eric?" lulu said as she gasped for breath.

"Oh, about 6500, that includes the ones back at the palace and castle.." eric removed his helmet and felt his his head, as he looked down at his hand it was covered in a thick layer of blood.

"6500? We can't win fredericks fortress with that.." guthan was totally unscratched, and still bursting with enegry.

"Time to use the forbidden 10." lulu said as if she had no other options.

"Who?" asked ahrim, although he didn't actually care.

"Come we will speak about it back at my palace." the army slugishly dragged themselves back to the horses and carts for the ride home.

Eventually they made it without any interruptions, the soldiers dragged their bodies towards the dinning halls to feast a feast of kings, however, our heros made their way to lulu's throne room.

"The forbidden 10, were my 10 most elite and loyal soldiers, they pulled themselves through the ranks quickly, but practially demanded to remain privates so they could remain frontliners, they had a thirst to serve me that they could not satisfy, they've never fallen through on a order i've given them, infact i could probably tell them to drown them selves and they'd do it.." lulu paused and looked blankly at a wall.

"The reason i've stopped using them for such missions of certain death and danger is because what they once did, because i commanded them too." she rubbed her eyes and stared at the wall again.

"I had given them an order to assassiante a daimyo who was slowly gathering power to overthrow me with, when i had went to his palace to see if they had did as i told them too me and my small guard were shocked to see."

"That they had not only killed the daimyo, but they burned down the small palace he and his family lived in, they had also written in his daughters blood "Do not disobey the grand one." all over the quiet village, oh, they also burned down most of the rest of the village too, i don't know how they managed it but they did. After that day i figured they were too loyal to keep in full service, but once again i have no one else to turn too, so i've summoned them."

The door to her throne room opened up and ten men wearing full suits of black dragonhide stepped through, they made no noise as they walked, they all wore black dragonhide facemasks as well, and they all sounded the same, emotionless. "It is an honour to be in your service once more your majecty." they all said at the same time as they bowed down before lulu, they practically kissed the ground they bowed down so low.

"It is a honour to have you under my control once more.. now listen carefully, another thing i deemed to powerful to use will also be used in this last attempt my comrades." she almost sounded as if she was lying.

"Show them." lulu said as she frowned.

A barrel appeared infront of the ten, seemingly out of no where. "With a spark it becomes more powerful than most spells, if we could place a few of these by the support beams of fredericks fort than it was go down and kill most of everyone inside of it." the ten said, again, emotionlessly.

"Ok, so hod do we sneak that many barrels into fredericks fortress without being noticed?" asked dharok as he stroked his small beard.

"Well dharok, with the cover of night, and a mule like you, anything is possible." lulu said with a wicked smile, dharok slapped his forehead.

"Clare, dharok, karil torag guthan ahrim torag and my ten will be the only ones attempting this, if it fails clare and ahrim will teleport out at once, i suggest you rest until it's late, we'll send you out at around 4:00 AM.

It was around 2:00AM and ahrim although tierd couldn't sleep, although his brothers were like rocks, the rice paper door to the brother's room quietly slid open and clare dressed in a simple nightgown walked through.

She tip tip-toed her way over to ahrims bed, once she was standing next to him ahrim whispered. "What?"

Clare jumped and said "I'm sorry did i wake you?"

"No, so what do you need?" he whispered kindly.

Clare bit her lip and said "I'm a bit worried about this whole, special ops mission, what if we get caught?" she asked him as she sat down on the end of his bed.

"We tele-other everyone and then we teleport, but we won't get caught." he said with a fake smile.

"What if we can't teleport intime?" she almost sounded like a scared little girl.

"Then we die a memorable death?" ahrim joked.

"I guess you're right, but we won't get caught huh?"

"I sure hope not, death didn't seem very appealing last time i was there." ahrim said with a slight giggle.

"Well i guess i shouldn't keep you awake, thanks for talking with me..." clare said as she started to get up.

"Well i can't sleep, if you wanna stay and talk that's fine." ahrim put on a wear smile, and the two began talking about, well just about everything you could think of, they talked with eachother until..

"It is time milords and ladies." one of the ten said, he was hardly visable in the darkness, and he spoke not emotionlessly but happily.

Ahrim woke his brothers, who quickly armed and armoured themselves, clare ran off to get ahold of her battle robes.

"Ahrim, you were trying to take advantage of the fact you know her mother isn't awake weren't you?" verac said with a laugh.

"Verac, if i said i no it might be a lie." ahrim replied with a smile.

"Alright i guess we'll just group up in the court yard with those ten "elites"" mumbled torag as he stumbled through the castle.

After about 10 minutes of waiting clare returned from the palace in her lunar battle robes and the group was off, on dharoks back was a large sack filled with the barrels of explosives.

"Why, am i, always the mule, torag is pretty buff, so is guthan, and verac, so why me?" dharok said as he wiped sweat from his brow.

"Because you're the tallest." karil said as he poked dharoks face.

"I swear karil, i'll beat you when i have both my hands free." dharok said with a slight giggle.

"Don't hurt him too much dharok, remember karil is a married man!" ahrim said with a cackle.

"Oh yeah that's right, how is she by the way, karil?" torag said with a grin.

"I haven't been able to speak with her since the party." karil said sadly as he put his coif on.

"Aww, poor karil." guthan said as he poked him with the end of his spear.

"Do you guys do this, all the time?" asked clare.

"Yes, we do, actually." verac said with a grin.

"There it is." said one of the ten. "Be quiet now, follow our lead."

They moved like hungry cheetahs, and seeing as there was only a guard comparable to a skeleton crew patrolling the wall they easily slipped past the sight of normal men.

The rest of the brothers and clare followed, even dharok managed to slip by unseen with his sack of doom.

"Alright clare, we'll place and light a barrel by the wall, you'll block out the noise, if you can, and dharok will have to hold the wall up as we slip through." said the ten, at once.

"I've only done that once or twice..." she said with a total lack of confidence.

"Try." the ten quickly dug a hole about a foot deep and stuck a barrel inside of it, "Ahrim force field, clare remove the noise." one of them pulled a flint and rock from literally out of no where and struck them togather, the fuse of the barrel began hissing, but soon it was too muffled to hear.

"Get ready dharok."

"Pop" was all that was heard, dharok quickly placed his hands in the hole and lifted the wall up high as everyone dashed through.

They quickly forced the sack to fit through the hole and dharok was finally able to sit it back down, with him on the other side, of course.

"Alright according to our intelligence there is a celler right along this wall some where, they report the most important support beams are in this room, so it should be a cake walk."

"Boy, you guys really get 'r' done eh? Heh, i might start saying that more often." karil said with a laugh.

I would say they used immense amounts of stealth abilites to sneak to the celler, but like i said, it was a skeleton crew patrolling the walls, a half awake one at that.

The noticed four guards sleeping in this wine celler, 4 of the ten quickly removed this potential threat via broken necks.

Dharok sat down the the sack and they began spreading them all about the celler support breams, this celler was large, and it took them at least 45 minutes to move them all around this dusty poorly lit room, none of them dared to speak for fear they'd alert their enemies of their presence.

"Sack is empty." dharok said to the group. The ten took horns filled with 'gunpowder' and made a trail of it from each barrel to the staircase.

"Alright ahrim, one spark and lets get out of here." the 10 replied, you could see smiles behind their masks.

Ahrim's hand bursted into a blaze and he grabbed the tip of his staff, and held it there until it was red hot, he then poked the trail of gunpowder with it and it caught flame. "Alright guys, this is burning slowly, so teleporting isn't smart, lets just walk out." ahrim suggested, and as i said, they all feared the being stuck inside a fortress with an army of freaks, so they climbed the staircase.

"Hello and good mouring, step aside and we'll have you killed quickly, ok?" it was frederick, his zweihander was slung over his shoulder and about 1500 breedlings stood ready to assault.

Clare slowly shut the trap door leading to the celler, and that was all it took to make frederick say. "Kill them all."

The breedlings lunged themselves forward with the immense strength of their legs, ahrim casted a powerful gust of wind sending the first wave of flying soldiers flying backwards, and crashing into stone structures.

Torag held both of his hammers, but in his mouth was the handle of his meteor hammer, he swung his hammers forward, gave his body a spin and jerked his head to the side whipping the meteor hammer forward and smashing into another breedling, where he learned this, no one really knows.

Veracs flaming flail seared through them like they were nothing, and although they were agile, the heat being put off by the flail was so great they melted from afar.

Guthan spun his spear around and although it was hard to see exatly how he was moving his spear, you could see limbs flying and heads rolling where ever he chose to fight.

Karil stayed on the ground, and not one of his brothers was ever cut by the blade of a breedling, they never got the chance too before a barrage of bolts met their bodies.

Dharok finally had free room to swing his axe, he jumped about 4 feet off the ground and slammed his axe into the ground, it sent a crowd of about 20 breedlings flying through the air.

Clare casted spells here and there, but she wasn't much of a warrior.

The ten elites were obviously very elite, you couldn't see them moving, but around them you saw bodies dropping constantly, it was a sight to behold.
