You are right, cars are not airtight. I am not an expert, but since car trunks—which was where I mentioned the lack of oxygen—are not supposed to accommodate humans I am guessing they wouldn't be as welcoming with air. That being said, I myself have faith that they aren't airtight, but would cause difficulty in breathing. Add in Beth's paranoia and faster breathing and you have a recipe for an unconscious teen.

Ah, I see. Okay, thanks for explaining all of that. And, in my opinion, these stories are certainly worth coming back to. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like this kind of work is nearly as appreciated as it should be on this forum.
