Well Kyle I just read your stories again, this time in more depth, and i relized something. You never have a happy story like "bobby baked his mom a cake. His mom pated him on the back happily. The End" Then again horror is much more horrific and keeps the reader wanting more.
Well Tava, you are partly right. I don't give fake, gut-wrenching, Happily-ever-after, Hollywood endings. Some stories, for example Ghost In To The Net has a rather happy ending in my opinion. She survived, and after a traumatic experience, that is the best thing someone could want. I had planned on doing an after scene with Bethany in the hospital with only one arm—but recovering well, I wouldn't dish out more horror then! For some reason I didn't have the heart to do it. Not sure why, I just follow my instincts. I will be hoping for an after scene in one of my horrors, like letting you see how the character will get on with their life. It would end a much happier ending to my horrific tales.
Other than that, what can I say? I haven't had a true happy ending since I was thirteen—that was when I wrote an awful, awful, terribly awful horror story about two boys who get attacked by a monster in their own house. The monster's name was a man who could transform into a beast and his name was Fred Hanging—need I say more?
Hopefully my stories have improved since my first horror story two years ago.
Some people don't like the essence of a horror story. One reason could be about the endings. Another could be that there is sometimes no moral though in a horror novel their almost is as with any novel. Scariness is also a factor.
When my classmates have asked me question like, 'how could you read such vile things?' I want to point out that the horror is not what attracts me to this particular genre. It is the grieving, and the sadness of a horror story. How you can care for the characters and pray for them they do not die in the book. You can not quite feel for the characters in a action or romance you do in a horror. And that, my friends, is why horror is, and will be, my all-time favorite genres for the ages.
EDIT: One man. One boy. Flynn's Alley. Coming to a compilation near you.

Yes, I actually enjoy your horror stories which is a bit off the norm for me. Like "Jaws" for example makes me dream of sharks eating me. Your stories don't give me that old scare the socks out you feeling, their more of. Well frankly I dont know how to described it other then brillient.
Hmmmm, coming to a compilation near you. Well I suppose this is the closest one but i'm not positive.

The story is done, I just want to start it on the next page so people won't have to flip back and forth. Unfortunately there is still four posts on this page and I don't want to take up that many with mindless bumps. So for now we wait.
I will give you a hint, though. It is longer than Party! but short than Ghost In To The Net.
EDIT: It will be ten posts long so when we get to page 13 please do not post.
