Browsing through these threads I often find conversations such as the above, with two people having simple conversations over the course of several months. It's just a funny recurring pattern that's sad in a hilarious way, if that makes sense.

English! I honestly never thought I would ever hear from you again! These forums are dead. I'm overwhelmed with nostalgia and feel like an old dead ruin as the memories flow back.

All of that seems like good news! I have far too much to tell you, and I'm not even sure you'll ever read this! So... the best way to reach me right now is League of Legends. My account name is PraetorianReaper. Or you could try this mail address fingonelvenlord(@)hot mail . c om I created it for spam, but I'll check it to make sure I can stay in contact with you!

Anyways, I really hope we can reconnect soon!

Ruben, can I first say that I remember you from the few months I used to frequent these forums around 2010, before going on to say that ever since I first got involved with Stories back then these forums have always been dead. ;)

English, I'm very glad that you have found a stable and happy equilibrium in your life. Your stories The Priceless and Brotherly Love are the only ones on this forum I ever come to reread, but the torment in both these works is so obviously autobiographical that I always felt a little guilty enjoying them as I did. I'm not sure if you remember, but in 2010 you were assigned to be my 'mentor' and I am very grateful. I went afk in summer 2010 because of the lack of activity here, but thanks in part to your influence I have not stopped writing. I am currently 1/4 of the way through a novel, which is 22,000 words long so far, as well as having written a few short stories I hope to publish. Please do add me on Tip.It Forums - same name - so that we can keep in touch. Again, best of luck in future endeavours.

Yeah, these forums have always been dead :P .

Since I'm stopping by this forum today, I'd just like to say several things:

Ruben: I'm not playing any of those games aside from SWTOR. Oh, and Rome: Total War 2, I guess. I already sent you an e-mail a while ago but you didn't believe it was me? You suspicious little thing ;)

Crocefisso: Thank you so much for your kind words! Yes, I do remember you and if I must say (very unprofessionally) that you were the most talented 'padawan' that had ever stumbled into that Adoption programme and it was my pleasure to help you in your writing endeavors. The Priceless and Brotherly Love aren't that autobiographical :P - their emotions derived from torment may be, but what is the use of these negative emotions if they cannot be channeled, transformed, and bring enjoyment to others? I would say definitely keep going with your novel. I've finished one myself, at 68,000 words, and a lot more autobiographical than the ones you described :P . It is of course, outside of this forum that our imaginations can be unleashed to its fullest potential, and where the real adventures begin. If you have any mail addresses for spam, you're free to leave them here like Ruben did and we can keep in touch that way.

Nice seeing you again :) .

Crocefisso, I was indeed roaming around the forum in 2010. However, I cannot recall who you are. :/ I apologize, as I believe it is my fault, seeing as I tend to post on a lot of threads and to have random spikes of activity. I usually remember the people who I was most involved with concerning the Novelist Guild activities. But any padawan of English must be a worthy friend, so I'd be glad get to know you more or to help you in any that I can, if ever you do require help for any reason of sort on these forums. I'm known for my stupid perseverance at bumping inactive threads... :P I tend to regard myself as the silent gargoyle, ever unmovable, but keep guard over the threads of my friends with an ever watchful eye.

Hey English, good to see you again! I did respond to your email! :O I must have gotten lost. I asked you to let me know what time would be best for you to play a game of chess with me on Funorb (or any chess website for that matter). But yes, I am very suspicious as to emails I get when I posted an (phony) email address on a public forum. :P Can't be too careful.I'll try to check that email address once or twice a week, to be honest I tend to forget about it, since it is an email address I use for spam. :/
