"When I touched the, dragon, there was a pop and some light and I was thrown on my back. Do you know what happened", Mathew asked, hesitating at the word dragon. "To your first statement, most dragons were not killed they simply left this area flying over the boundary, the ones that stayed had troubles surviving without the protection of their brethren and most died off, obviously not all. Tea?", the half elf asked Mathew while putting a pot of water over a small fire. Before Mathew could answer the half elf continued. "The mother of that dragon is most likely dead because they almost never leave their children alone. To your question, I have no idea what it is but it is unlikely to happen again." "So I should be able to safely touch it", Mathew asked. "Theoretically yes but I have told you my full some of knowledge on dragons. If you wish to learn more, you should go to the city of Bentarin", the half elf replied rising to get some cups. "That city is only full of thieves", Mathew said. The elf wipped around holding two cups with tea bags and said,"The city of Bentarin is full of honorable men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting fouls like you from the dangers of the very monsters that were able to kill and scare away the dragons.", the half elf responded with a furious tone. Mathew took a step back from the fury in the half elf's eyes and said carefully,"I am sorry for speaking about what I do not know. Were is this city of Bentarin and how far is it?" The half elf seamed to calm down and began to pour the water from the pot into the cups and handed one to Mathew. Afterwords he responded saying,"It is an eight day journey to the east." "I don't have eight days. I have a farm to run", Mathew said worried."That dragon will grow quickly. If you want to keep it with you, and I don't think you have a choice, then the people of Bentarin is your only hope for help. (continued four posts down)
