He immediately tried to summon some of the rocks from over there to defend himself, but it was too late, as Levantris held his sword in a stabbing position, and then thrust it as hard as he could into the earth warrior's chest, striking his heart.
"This is for everything..." Levantris said in a gloomy voice as he stabbed the red, bloody, beating heart again and again and again, until he managed to cut it out and send it flying to the floor, where it shriveled up, turned black, and died.
The earth warrior screamed in a deafening, booming voice as he fell into the steel walls, crushing them like a potato chip as he fell. Levantris fell off of the giant and landed on the floor, hands over his ears in pain from the loud, desperate cries of the defeated guard.
He couldn't hold the illusionary world any more, and the black light was retracted back into the scar as the roaring subsided, and the regular whitish-orange light returned to his sight.
The steel walls were still crushed, although not totally downed. Levantris figured that the ceiling would be definitely lowered due to the giant's fall, and that anyone wanting to get in might have to crawl underneath the crushed steel that was hanging out from the room like an untucked shirt. The beds were completely crushed as well, and feathers were scattered everywhere from the beds and the pillows. There were only about two beds that weren't crushed, and that was the one Sonia was lying on and the one next to it, where the sack of Runes remained untouched by the battle.
He didn't care about the fact that the beds were destroyed, or the wall bent. He was grateful that the lights hadn't been touched in the battle, but when he turned around, he saw that the Falador portal was completely shattered, and that the Varrock portal was half-broken, and barely flickered with energy.
"That's not good. But, if neither of us can warp back, it would still make a fair chance." Levantris shrugged, his voice calm.

I still kinda owe you people for that extended load earlier, but it's ok now... this segment was kinda short too. Here's another resting point. Although you gotta admit, that power Levantris has is something else, right? :P
Don't worry... you're almost done. Almost...

"Still, before any more idiot guards come over here, which I'm sure they will after hearing the wall bend like that, I'd better get the team and get whatever loot we can, before we all die." Levantris looked at Sonia, who was finally beginning to wake up, yawning and then groaning as she noticed that the arrow was still in her stomach.
"What... what happened?" she asked, noticing the shattered portals, destroyed beds, and bent wall on the other side of the room.
"Five words. One heck of a battle. Now, don't mess with that arrow. You pull it out, and I don't have any bandages or whatever to stop the immense bleeding that'll result. Of course you'll die if that thing's embedded in there too long, but it's better to keep it in there than ripping it out."
Levantris looked quickly at the entrance, which had a piece of bent, spiked steel protruding downwards and making it so that whoever wanted to get in or out would have to crawl to prevent being cut open by the huge spike.
"Oh. But I don't understand how--" she started, but Levantris cut off with,
"It doesn't matter how it happened. You don't need to know. It's pretty dangerous out there, what with all the Jipalar Guards running around and such. In fact, I wonder..." Levantris walked over to the guard that was lying on the floor, breathing hard and crying silently, tears already soaking his face.
"Yes. Indeed. Well, I may as well just put this one out of his misery." he took out a Runite knife, squat down, and quickly cut the man's throat.
Sonia looked away at the moment that Levantris killed the guard, and then looked at him and asked,
"So, exactly how are we doing? Do you know?"
Levantris turned around as he was proceeding to leave, and he said:
"Well, let's just hope we have enough to get by, ok?" Levantris walked to the entrance and got on the floor, crawling under the spiked steel that bent over and lowered the ceiling from the giant's fall.

"Hey, you have *any* idea what that groaning sound could've been? Didn't sound human to me." Kalron asked in an upbeat voice as the newer party of five walked through the warehouse, looking for Nelson.
The crew had found Rob looting from a room, where a Black Arms member was lying down, and dead with a Runite knife in his throat. Rob had explained to them the strange tale of how the man ended up killing himself after looting from the crates that were filled with all sorts of knives. Apparently, the man had thrown it at an angle to try and kill Rob while he was busy taking out the knives from the crate, but while Rob was holding one of the knives, the thrown knife hit his and unfortunately landed in his neck after he tried to dive off to the side.
"I think something's working for us tonight, because other than that guy, I haven't seen a Black Arm member *all night*!" Rob exclaimed. His white skin was easily spotted through the red mask, but he couldn't help it. He was on the left side of Pa*uet.
"Speaking of which, what time do you think it is right now? Do you think it's past midnight yet?" Odis asked, scratching his head as the five came back to the junction where Kalron, Odis, Clyde, and Pa*uet decided to find Rob first.
"I don't know. Does it matter? It's going to take days to get back to Varrock unless we can find some way to teleport or warp back..." Pa*uet remarked as they began to look into each room on the longer corridor for any signs of Nelson.
"Yes, but what about the accursed groaning sound that drilled a hole in my mental head?!" Kalron shouted, breathing heavily again.
"Well, we'll have to figure out what that was later. I think Nelson is more important at this point." Pa*uet replied calmly, and the five came to the last room in the corridor.
"Look!" Clyde exclaimed softly as he pointed into the room. Crates had been busted open, and the treasure inside made Pa*uet's eyes light up with joy and relief.

"My goodness, they're... they're Runes! I knew they must've been hiding somewhere in here!" Pa*uet broke away from the square-shaped barrier of thieves surrounding him and ran into the room, and noticed that one of the shattered crates was completely empty, and that the one next to it was partially empty.
"Hmm, not bad. But it wouldn't have killed them to at least sort these little beauties..." Pa*uet remarked disdainfully as he sifted through the box, picking up any missile Runes he could find.
"Would you hurry up in there?!" Kalron shouted from outside the room.
"Yes, just a minute..." Pa*uet shot a small earth barrage to the nearby crates, making head-sized holes in them.
He managed to get enough Runes to perform at least a hundred casts of Holadia Scatter, and possibly enough Runes to create a group teleportation spell that would reach to just outside of the Barbarian Village.
"Ok, I'm done. By the way, one of the crates was empty when I got in. Do you think Nelson might've looted some and then tried to look in other rooms?" Pa*uet asked as he got back in the middle of the formation.
"I think so. C'mon, let's go around the corner. I'm itching to know what caused that groaning sound." Kalron said, calm again.
"We really *must* find a way to cure that disorder of his..." Pa*uet whispered to Odis as the five rounded the junction, that seemed to be a corner in the warehouse.
"What was that?" Kalron asked.
"Nothing." Pa*uet and Odis said in unison, and then half a second after they said that, Rob shouted,
"Man! Look at that! The wall's... it's, it's bent out! How is that possible?" he pointed in the direction of part of the steel wall that was torn and horribly bent, so much that one would have to crawl under it just to be to get through unscathed.

"It could be from the guards'... no, even all ten of them firing their guns at once couldn't have done that. Only if they had the very strong guns, could they have done something that powerful. And even then, the wall wouldn't be bent out like it is! There's no scorch marks, or..." Pa*uet stopped as the group got close enough to reveal that Beraw's body laid on the floor, a huge steel spike in his foot. The ceiling got low enough so that the group had to hunch themselves over, except for Clyde, who didn't have to hunch over as much.
"Who's this guy? Is he a Jipalar Guard?" Clyde asked, approaching Beraw and noticing that the cuts in his neck and the drying blood indicated that he had been dead for some time.
"No. The guards are larger and wear different-colored armor than whoever this is. I honestly don't know who he is or why he's here, but look at the way he died. There's holes in his neck and in other various places. Look, there's even a Rune Dagger." Pa*uet stepped out of the square and used a bit of his magic to pull the dagger out of Beraw's stomach.
"Yes, this must've belonged to Sevan. This poison is a glue that prevents the weapon from being removed except by any kind of magic, combat or non-combat. He must've killed this person. Good on him. Now, as for the matter of this spike and this incredibly low ceiling... We'll have to crawl across one at a time. I'll go first. You four follow behind me." Pa*uet got closer and then got down to crawl under the crushed steel.
--
Levantris scurried along the steel, lit corridors of Jipalar Warehouse, quickly scanning the rooms for any signs of Black Arm members. After scanning each row of rooms that he could, he would place a knife at the start of each one to remind himself that he had already done that row.
He had remembered that he had brought along about fifteen, not including himself, and with the exceptions of Sonia and Reitar, that meant he had to find thirteen thieves as fast as he could.

He wasn't paying attention to the Phoenix members anymore; if he saw one, he ignored him and moved on. He came to the corner that was completely blown away from the Guards' group attack with their bazookas, and remarked:
"So that's where that huge boom came from. Interesting. Let's see, that's got to be at least two or three rooms completely annilhated... and I see one dead body." Levantris quickly rushed up to check the clothing on the blackened body, and noticed that it wasn't the Rogue uniform that his team wore, so he assumed it was a Phoenix member.
"Okay." he scurried off further and came to a room that seemed brighter than the others, by just a little.
As soon as he noticed the black in the room, he rushed in, and saw five bodies of Black Arm members, scattered on the floor. They were beaten in numerous ways: two were burnt to a crisp, while two others had broken bones and bloody noses.
"Ralph..." Levantris said as he came upon Ralph's disembodied head, staring at him madly, the life drained from his mud brown eyes.
"The guards couldn't have done this... the blood is too dry for the kills to be that fresh. And as far as I know, none of the Phoenix members are mages. Which probably means either the guards did it, or the Birdies got themselves a little cheating *mage* to help them. That might explain how they *got here* so quickly!" he sneered, and left the room as quickly as he came in.
--
Pa*uet was the first to crawl under the steel ceiling that hung so dangerously low above him. He carefully weaved his old bones around Beraw's body, which couldn't be moved due to the spike through his foot that was pinning him to the floor. He saw a touch of black on the other side of the spike, and he looked farther to see, curious if it was a Jipalar Guard or a Black Arms member.

However, when he had gotten far enough so that he could sit down under the low steel ceiling, he hoped that what he saw might've been a cruel trick of his eyes, as the tinge of black that he saw on the lit steel floor was part of Sevan's black dragonhide outfit. He lay with many cuts across his torso and on his legs, and he looked like he had been crushed and bruised a little from something heavy, although Pa*uet doubted it could've been the ceiling.
"What is this? Sevan... why is it *you*? If you're gone, I can't show you that Roald was a fool. You won't ever know the truth." Pa*uet's voice was trembling and it cracked as he spoke, bowing his head down.
He softly reached out for a clean spot of Sevan's body, and found that he was beginning to wet the dragonhide with tears that he wasn't even aware of until he felt them drip off of his face. He no longer cared that he was bloody and slightly misshapen, and he hugged Sevan's corpse tightly, sobbing quietly as the dead body failed to return the love that Pa*uet was giving it.
Odis had gone straight behind him, and noticed that there was a strange, brick floor that led down to another lit room in the warehouse. He would've gone down to explore it immediately, but he noticed that Pa*uet was mourning what was obviously the corpse of the interesting, skilled ranger that lay on the floor underneath the torn steel.
"Hey, what's the hold up? C'mon!" Clyde called impatiently from behind Odis, and Odis shook his head quickly and began to crawl through the tight tunnel down to the Jipalar Guards' room.
Clyde, Rob, and Kalron, who was last and (luckily for Paquet) calm, followed Odis into the strange, new room that went down instead of being level like the rest of the warehouse.
'Whoa, that's crazy... he just lost probably what was one of his best friends.' Kalron thought as he stopped for a moment to watch Pa*uet look into Sevan's closed eyes, which looked peaceful.

His face was smiling, as if he had been thinking of the haven that he was probably destined to go to in the afterlife.
'Indeed, friend, you shall be at rest now. You did well, Sevan Erleana. You did well.' Pa*uet thought as he hugged Sevan for one last time, remembering everything that they had done together as a tribute to him. He hoped that even though he was gone, he would still return to them in spirit, protecting them somehow from a distance as he always used to do in their rare, but precious missions that they did together.
Kalron silently crawled down the pathway to the guards' room, where he found the other thieves in the room already, noticing that there were two crushed Phoenix bodies.
"What in the name of rightly placed trinkets is going on here?!" Kalron shouted in anger, his mood suddenly switched to a furious, irritated setting.
"That's what I want to know. Check this out..." Odis said solemnly, his words a little distant and tired. He stepped to the side to show Nali's crushed body, his body parts scattered about in a small radius from being crushed by the leader guard's rocks.
Strangely enough, his head had been spared the brutal and gross treatment that the rest of his body had suffered. It was still, and the eyes were closed and the lips sealed together. Nali looked asleep, and a little worried at that.
"Oh yeah? Well, I think our search for Nelson is over, guys... look at this other person who got crushed to pieces along with these beds." Rob pointed to Nelson's mangled body, which was compressed and twisted in ways it shouldn't have been.
"Ok!! That's it! I want to know who did this, and I want to know now!" Kalron shouted, his nostrils flared and his dark brown eyes alit with fiery rage. He was slightly stamping the floor, the bricks making a quieter sound than the clanking of the steel.

"Something insane happened here. I mean, look at all these beds. They're made of steel, and are crushed and bent like they were twigs! Look what happened to Nali and Nelson! Do you see one of those portals over there? I mean--" Rob started, but Odis interrupted with,
"Hold up. Look a little more to your left. There's a Black Arm apparently sleeping in one of the two unharmed beds. Also, there's a bag of something next to that bed."
"This is getting weirder and weirder..." Rob whispered as he looked at Sonia's back and the bag of Runes, and then over to Clyde, who stood squatting over a huge body of a Jipalar Guard.
"Hey! Look! Look at what Clyde found! And we didn't even notice it!" Rob pointed to the body on the floor, grabbing Rob and Kalron's attention.
Kalron was still fuming, and he immediately walked over to the guard and kicked him as hard as he could, but it didn't even do so much as to push him upwards; he was like a huge rock situated on the floor, with his throat cut and still bleeding out onto the bricks.
"Grr!!" Kalron said through his teeth as he hopped on one foot for a second or two.
"Yeah, well, this guy looks pretty ruthless. Whatever killed this big fella probably did all the damage in here. Don't you think?" Rob looked at Odis questioningly, and Odis noticed that there was a creepy, little, shriveled black thing in the shape of a crumpled piece of parchment next to the guard's side. He picked it up and it immediately turned to ashes as soon as Odis squeezed it even the slightest bit, and he asked:
"Ok, I'm not gonna even *wonder* what that weird thing was. It's possible. But why should we care?"
'So that's eight. Hmm, I wonder where Vinnin is... other than Ralph and myself, he's the strongest member of our team out here. Hopefully he didn't run into that mage.' Levantris thought, as he began his descent down the next four rows of Jipalar Warehouse.
