"Well, Sevan. I suggest you find something to do so that you don't get bored out of your skull!" Pa*uet winked at Sevan, who had put the ring back on his finger and then turned to Irtia.
"You too, Irtia! You don't have to go with him, you know... Keep yourselves busy and out of trouble! Reldo and I will be quite fine here..." Pa*uet smiled warmly at her and then she shrugged and left the room.
"Indeed, beautiful, but so quiet! I'm off!" Sevan waved to Paquet and Reldo and left the room as well, following Irtia outside.
"Now, Pa*uet... I tell you, it was in Ail'mai that they first showed signs of chemistry!" Reldo's glasses glared in the light of the room, and his brows were furred. Obviously he had strong belief and loved to debate about literature.
"Ha. They weren't even showing glimpses to each other. It was not in Ail'mai, it was in Talbrito! That was where they were more obvious than in the later stages around Ail'mai's outskirts!" Pa*uet was just as heated as Reldo about the conversation.
-
Sevan and Irtia came to the entrance of the castle, where a couple of adventurers were sparring with the guards bare-fisted.
"Need any help there?" Sevan called out to one of the guards, who was holding his own well against the hefty adventurer, who was half a foot taller than him.
"No! I'm fine, Master Sevan! You..." He got hit square in the face before he could finish, and he blocked an uppercut and said,
"...Enjoy yourself! You and Mistress Irtia as well!" The guard winked at them before the adventurer tried a straight punch, which the guard barely managed to dodge.
"Right! Come on, Irtia! Let's go and visit Lowe! I'm itching to talk to him about the new shipment of crossbows... Those things sound great!" Sevan started off towards the archery shop, but when he turned around, he saw Irtia heading off towards Thessalia's shop, which was being rebuilt after the tornado. It was in pretty good shape, and Thessalia had a smile on her face.

Irtia came closer to the clothes shop. It had only been about two days since the tornado had struck, so not all of it had been rebuilt yet. For the most part, the store was basically a bunch of floorboards with a couple of small tables, clothes and the back walls still being built. Thessalia noticed her, and then smiled at her. She was a rare, but very valued customer.
"Irtia... My gosh, this is not really the best time for you to visit... I mean, look at this place! It's all... Not beautiful like you are." Secretly, Thessalia was scared of Irtia for two reasons: One, because she knew the King directly, and two, because she was also an excellent warrior and could kill her if she ever tried any betrayal.
"It's fine. The winds don't care too much for anything but themselves..." Irtia's voice was lower than Thessalia's, and wasn't very loud. It had a lot of breath on it though, as if her own voice was airy.
"So, is there anything I can do for you? I'm really ashamed that I can't really do much as I used to do before the tornado... Accursed thing!" Thessalia sat on a crude, wooden chair that she had found lying around in the aftermath of the tornado. The general store was also being rebuilt across the street, but now another storekeeper and assistant had to be hired, since the other two had died in the tornado.
"Didn't you use to have an assistant? Was her name Sonia...?" Irtia walked over slowly to some of the gloves that were crushed together in a pile on one of the smaller tables, and began inspecting them with a bored look on her face.
"Umm... Yes... But once the tornado subsided, no one could find her anywhere. I think it was safe to assume that she died along with the people that had been standing in the general store..." Thessalia sat frozen on the chair. She didn't want Irtia to know that she had tried to kill Sonia so that she wouldn't weigh her down...

"I see. And you have no sorrow for her?" Irtia's voice sounded bored, and she turned her attention from the pile of gloves to Thessalia.
"Um... Well... Considering all of the people that died, I'm not sure if a funeral could be organized for her..." Thessalia tried her best not to sound nervous, but Irtia could see all too well that something was up.
"Answer my question. Do you have any sorrow for her at all?" Irtia's voice was soft, but Thessalia could tell that she was onto her. Her head darted left and right, and then she nodded to Irtia. If she spoke any more, she may as well just ask to be killed on the spot...
"Really? So I assume your grief is over. Two days... Hmm. I would see that it is necessary. Anyways. I don't think there's anything here that I want. Maybe I should be getting back to Sevan." Irtia went for the entrance of the store, while Thessalia let out a sigh of relief.
Right before she left, Irtia suddenly turned her head around and slightly glared at Thessalia, as if to say,
"I'm watching you... I know you've done something."
She exited the clothes shop and walked over to the archery shop. When she entered, she found Sevan holding a small white dart that Lowe had just given to him. He aimed at a dartboard that hung upon the wall in the shop, and then he let the dart fly. It moved in the air like it was being guided by a whirlpool, because it circled until it came to pierce the middle of the board.
"This is great, Lowe. Where on Gielinor did you ever get it?" Sevan went over to the dartboard and plucked the small white dart from it, and then walked back to find Irtia in the room.
"Whoa! When'd you get here, Irtia? I didn't even notice you come in!" Sevan ran his hand through his hair and handed the dart back to Lowe.
Irtia said nothing for almost a third of a minute, and Lowe broke the silence by saying,
"Well, Sevan. You like it, right? I can get an order in by tonight..." Lowe winked at Sevan.

"Awesome! Get me around 30, if that's possible. Those thieves won't know what hit 'em!" Sevan raised his hand, and he and Lowe did a high five.
"Well, Irtia, I don't usually carry any throwing axes, but I could order a couple of Rune ones for you if you'd like..." Lowe scratched his head and looked at Irtia. She flipped some of her blonde hair to her back, and shook her head no.
"Oh, ok. Just saying... You never know when you might need to pick an enemy off from a distance!" Lowe grabbed a quill and a piece of parchment and wrote down Sevan's order. Sevan turned to Irtia and said to her quietly,
"So, if Pa*uet's going to teleport us there at dawn, we'd better get up a good half hour early. Honestly, we should get there an hour before dawn just to surprise them. Of course, I don't want that to interfere with your schedule... Heh."
"Yes. That's good." Irtia looked at Sevan's face. Indeed, he was a handsome man, but not her type... He did make quite a good friend, though, especially with the random off comments. She wondered for a second if he was thinking the same thing, or something totally different. Maybe he was thinking about the thrill of finally having a good mission... Or maybe he may have been dreaming about her.
"I swear, though. You're always so quiet. ...Why?" Sevan noticed Lowe finish writing out the order, and he whistled for a messenger pigeon. It came quickly, the fat, gray animal. It cooed as Lowe told it where to go, and then he pointed towards the window, where the pigeon darted out, fast for a bird of its girth.
"...It's just how I am, Sevan. It's just... How I am." Irtia's voice was airy and almost sounded depressed, but Sevan was used to hearing that.
"Right-o, and you should come by in around 8-9 hours, Sevan. Your order should be in by then. I've also ordered a couple of throwing axes just in case Irtia decides to take some..." Lowe winked at Sevan again, and then he and Irtia left the archery shop.

When they came back to the Palace Library, Pa*uet and Reldo were still arguing over the book, although at this point both men looked like they were about to rip each other's hair out.
"You haven't forgotten Page 259, have you?! Have you?! It was the fall of Talbrito! The fall of Talbrito!!" Reldo was practically shouting at Pa*uet, whose fists were clenched and his brows curving down angrily.
"Well, if you had a brain, you miniscule--"
"Quiet!!! Get over yourselves, you two bookworms! No one cares but you two! You're gonna kill each other and I don't want you two dying! It's just not worth it!" Sevan shouted over the din.
"Shut it!" Reldo spat out, but in a split second, he realized what he had done, gasped loudly, and then put his hands over his mouth and almost fell down onto the chair.
"I'm... I'm so sorry... Sevan!" Reldo whacked his head against the desk that his chair rested near, but Sevan just sighed and walked over to Reldo.
"It's alright. I understand, Reldo. You were just all caught up in the heat of the moment. I'm not offended, although that was shocking! Just... You know, try and keep your mouth shut when someone tries to calm you down." Reldo was rubbing his head and he looked at Sevan like he was a mere peasant, both relieved and sorrowful at what Sevan had said.
"You mean it?"
"Yes, of course!"
Pa*uet walked over to Irtia and whispered to her,
"If only Reldo wasn't so afraid of us! He may as well be one of us, what with all the paperwork and long nights he deals with!" She nodded in agreement. The poor librarian had always thought of himself as lowlier than the King's finest combat specialists, and he would rather eat a red spider than offend the King and be beheaded, or worse!
"Thank you. Now... I'm going to go to sleep. I need a break from this. Hopefully I'll wake up in time to start the evening records..." Reldo groaned as he left the room, leaving Pa*uet, Sevan, and Irtia in the room together.

"Right. Now then... Where did you two go?" Paquet walked to where Reldo had been sitting and sat in the chair, awaiting a response from either Sevan or Irtia.
"Eh, I hung out at Lowe's for a while. As for Irtia, I don't know where she went. She just popped up in the store at some point in time..." Sevan looked at Irtia and she rubbed her right eye lazily and then replied with,
"I went to the clothes shop. It's still being rebuilt, but Thessalia seems to be dealing with it just fine."
"I see. Well, you know what Reldo and I did the entire time."
"Yep, argue like two old guys over some book that I don't plan on reading." Sevan then walked over to the entrance and looked out into the hallway for no reason in particular.
Irtia chuckled quietly, and then Sevan cleared his throat.
"Well, as I was telling Irtia earlier, we really had better pick a time to get up in the early dawn, if we want to get a start on those thieves. You have the spell down, right Pa*uet?"
"Yes, I know it. Aubury already has given me the Runes for doing so. Going to be quite a day then, right? But the thing is, isn't the event the day after tomorrow...?"
"Oh, right. Sorry, I like to plan ahead for things. You know how it is, Pa*uet." Sevan then turned to Irtia and said to her,
"You're fine with all of this, right? Because I want to make sure we're all on the same page here."
She nodded in agreement, her eyes calm and content like she had just had a nice, soothing cup of tea.
"Alright. If that's all... I have to talk to His Majesty. I'll see you two later." Pa*uet got up from the chair and exited the library, and then Irtia left right after him. Sevan shrugged and used the time to himself to contemplate various things.
First of all, there was Irtia. He had always wondered what kinds of thoughts ran through her head. She never seemed to show what she was thinking, and that type of solitude intrigued him.

Indeed, he wasn't even sure what kind of man she was interested in. But that was pushed aside by his thoughts of slaying many stupid thieves at the Jipalar Deal in two days.
"Lovely, lovely. Can't wait for the day I get to do something really exciting!" He said softly in a singsong voice, and then exited the library, looking for Pa*uet. He didn't have anything to do in Varrock, and besides that, Pa*uet could tell him more about the Jipalar Deal.

Levantris darted past Savlon's cell as fleeting as he did while on a mission, the huge monster not even noticing him fly by and land in front of his room. Since he no longer had the Grether Pen, he had to grab out a strange, golden key from his outfit; in fact, the very same one he had confiscated from Sonia before the Rising Sun Deal. He slipped it into the keyhole and then dropped to hear the tumblers work, and when he heard them click, he whispered something that sounded like gibberish, but after he had said it, the door opened automatically, without Levantris having to pull a handle.
He came to see all his strange, black ornaments on the shelves in his dim-lit room, plus the bed that lay in there. He grumbled something to it, and groaned as he jumped on top of the bed belly-first, landing on it like a black, dirty fish that had just been thrown onto a dock.
"Jipalar, and then we'll see who's the better gang, Straven the Straightener. Two days, two days, and your gang won't bear to show its face here ever again..." Levantris said out loud, yawned, and then just stared at one of the torches that kept his room lit.
The flame was enticing and warming to Levantris, even though it was a good five yards away. It danced around in the torch like it was lulling him to sleep, swirling left and right and even jumping out of the torch and becoming a star for all of two seconds. Levantris felt his eyelids closing over him again as the flame continued to sway its fiery hips for him, a strange servant to a strange man.

Just as the flame was about to explode into sparks, Levantris's vision faded to black, and the flame took a bow before him and settled back to normal in the torch.
He awoke under the spotlight the blackness of the void once again, and he felt a slight wind pulling to the west, or at least to the left.
"Where... Where are you? I can feel you. C-Come out." Levantris's voice sounded scared, as if he knew that something was going to pop out from the darkness.
No sound came from around Levantris. The only thing he felt or sensed was the slight wind blowing.
"Are you even there...?" Levantris was bothered by the wind that kept blowing; it was starting to get cold and he only had a couple of light khaki robes on. He looked upwards into another section of the black, endless air, and then saw the white, hooded figure staring straight into his face only about two feet away. Levantris shrieked straight into the figure's face, and the sound flew and echoed into the void, never to return.
The figure grinned and then chuckled at Levantris. It put a finger to its lips, and then stared down at Levantris's shocked and ignorant face, amused by him.
"W-W-What do you w-w-want?" Levantris couldn't bear to look at the figure, and tried to focus on a comforting spot in the darkness.
The figure swirled around in its place in the air, creating an air current that whirled Levantris upwards into the air, and then he was plunged into the blackness, falling, falling, falling until his back slammed onto something hard and then he fell a couple of yards further down, crashing on another spotlight.
"That? Fine... Um... Um..." Levantris was itching to tell the figure something in the stillness of the place, but he was afraid to say it, fearful of what the figure's response would be.
Levantris felt himself being lifted by wind once more, and then he was face-to-face with the figure.

It turned its head, smiled, and then melted away into multi-colored particles...
As soon as the last rainbow particle was out of Levantris's sight, he awoke to the Black Arms' hideout again, finding him sitting up on the bed instead of laying down on it when he had gone to sleep.
"So that's that." Levantris fell back on the bed, and stared at the ceiling, still immersed in emotion from the dream.
He closed his eyes, and recalled that night. Not twenty years ago when he had saved Sonia, but around eighteen years ago. It was six months before the anniversary of it, when Levantris had begun to rise through the ranks of the Black Arms.
If only there was a way to relive the night from so long ago, and if only there was a way to...
The thought faded from his mind, as the apathy began to set in once more, like a needle full of a numbing medicine. Levantris forgot about the things he was previously thinking about, and he began to think about the Jipalar Deal, as it was swiftly approaching. He also had to look for Sonia, but not until after he had gone over the plans with the rest of the team that would embark on the mission that would change the reputation of the Black Arms forever.

Sonia had been wandering around through the hallways, trying to find any of the group (except O'Hinal, of course) that had participated in the Rising Sun Deal. It came to her mind that she didn't know where any of their rooms were, and she just decided to go to Levantris and ask him where their rooms were.
As she walked down the hallways going down to Levantris's room, she could barely, just barely hear footsteps walking around in the quiet halls. She thought that she was just hearing things, and that there was no one there, but the footsteps grew loud enough to be truly real.
"Who's there?" She questioned the air, expecting a response from whoever was walking around. There was none, and the footsteps quieted into silence again.
