Anger seemed to radiate from Armadyl at this statement, but his composure did not falter for a moment. “Those who persist in evil, and turn away from every opportunity of redemption, have already pronounced a grave judgment upon themselves. You should remember this Zaros.” With these words, Armadyl vanished, and immediately afterword Zaros reverted to his Parsis form, leaving the stunned Zarosians below pondering if they had really seen the two gods conversing, or whether they had dreamed it all.
“Evil, huh?” said Parsis softly, turning to walk down from the wall. “Good and evil are relative, Armadyl, there is no objective good nor objective evil as you claim. And as such, they are arbitrary and can be defined at whim. Something is good because the gods command it; that is what you and Saradomin do not understand. I have given my command; to honor and worship the Great Lord Zaros is good, and all who do not are evil, and must be converted or wiped off the face of Gielinor.” Pausing for a moment, Parsis added in a mocking tone, “This is the Law of Zaros, which is greater than the Law of Armadyl.” After this, he remained silent as he returned to his temple.
“Tsk, the gods and their games,” sighed the old lady, watching as the sky returned to its normal color, “I swear, one day they will get their's.”
“They do seem to like toying with us,” replied Nick, as he sped up his pace to keep up with the lady. Despite her advanced age, Zenevivia was still more fit than many women in their prime, and traversed the rocky terrain before them with ease.
“But,” added Nick, “Aren't we about to be helping one of them?”
“Help?” laughed Zenevivia, “Not on your life. We're simply making use of Saradomin to get our hands on the Weapons of Destiny. You get the sword Armadyl made, we get one of the bows for your friend, and Dissy and I will take the staffs.”
“And how does this temple we are going to help us do that?” asked Nick.
"He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."
