Interestingly enough, this story's rating is MT not necessarily for the battles and gore, but for the twisted ideas of torture and punishment given by Uvedin.

Oh, and I notice two traits in your writing. One, you seem to mimic the same style of fighting that you do in your roleplaying. Two, you have a thing about Hell. I'm not sure whether to call it an affinity or not. :| ...why, exactly, do you have a thing for Hell?

There is a specific reason that the fighting is like that. Don't worry, no other characters will be as 'overpowered' as Uvedin. Once the real plot is completely revealed, you will completely understand why Uvedin fights like a berzerk god on drugs.

And I have a thing for Hell? Hmm... that doesn't sound like a redeeming trait. I'll look over the story this weekend for descriptions that include 'Hell' and change some, if I do seem to be as 'hell-obsessive' as you say.

Well, I don't think it's just you that tends to use Hell somewhat frequently in a story (or in a title). But you're one of the people who does it.

As for the story itself... meh, it's okay. Doesn't score very high on the originality scale with me, but you do well for what you have. You make the story just exciting enough to avoid the cliché's boredom-inducing repetition.

I hope you have some good stuff in store for us, Guard.
