It could be the depth that Novelistic stories tend to have. It kinda feels like you don't really know the conflict between Joran and the other guy (the U guy, lol) that well. Kinda like watching the 3rd PotC movie without having seen the first two.

Yeah, that's probably it Para. I didn't really feel much hate for Udevin (or whatever his name was) despite the fact he had attempted to kill the main protagonist.

And I can't wait to see how it unfolds, Guard, and I'm sure that it shall reach novelist standards sometime in the not so distant future.
