Amazed by how many familiar face where in this tavern Kuro then said, "Well with all the familiar faces here I'll am guess and say I am in the right place. Its almost like a Champion's guild reunion it nice to see a bunch of familiar faces."

Kuro then said after hearing Annie say hello to him, "Hello to you too Annie." Kuro confused why Annie said what she did not understanding, he thought to himself, ~Is this what this is all about to find one guy? I don't think that is what the mission is about, although battling a god would need a lot of us but I doubt that is what the mission is about~

He was still hoping that the guild-master wasn't going to mention why he fled before, the last thing he wanted was a big debate about what he did after Azul died. Kuro wasn't going to bring it up if the guild-master didn't.

Kuro then noticed the dwarf he then said, "Hey! Who let the child with a beard in here?!" He laughed then said, "Just kidding, hello Joric." Kuro knew the joke was bad but, it was the perfect way of saying hello to the dwarf Joric. He then said, "Hello to you as well Siera." Figuring it was right to say hello to everyone at least once.

Kuro then said back to the champion's guild-master, "Yeah, but I still need water for my horse, if I can get my horse taken care of everything will be great."
and nothing was spoiled :P

The Leprechaun's Foot

"An extra blade, oui!" Agreed Monsieur Federic* enthusiastically as a man with an awful taste in alcohol, identifying himself as Rovaan du Leon, came to his makeshift booking station. "I am Monsieur Federico Ricardo, and I shall be your lead*-" the masked hagspawn coughed audibly, "I mean, your associate for this journey. This unloveable young lady," he gestured towards Etheldredda, "Will explain the mission when more have arrived, and then we can discuss," the man visibly shivered as he whispered out the final word: " Payment ."

Etheldredda, meanwhile, had stopped her vigorous pacing to stare blankly at a note that had been given to her. "My mother wasn't the teaching type," she explained, tearing the page out of Siera's notebook and handing it over to the guildmaster.

"Oui, sweet Siera!" Purred out the flamboyant fencer, waving the songstress over. "I am a, as you say, intimately involved with this beast-" Etheldredda's metal mask, horrifically disfigured, turned to stare down Monsieur Federico, whose voice whittled down to nothing. Turning back to Siera, she gave a singular nod of encouragement.

"You were at Messia," she observed bluntly. "I saw you take down a dozen demons. I loathe magic, but you're one of the good ones. I'm leading an expedition, and I'd appreciate it if you came along. Demons weren't the only things we fought in Messia, and one of the Dread Lord's old allies is about to get a whole lot stronger. We can't let that world happen again."

It was at this moment that Kuro walked into the inn, requesting to be signed up and to get some feed for his horse. "I will fetch your horse its water!" Announced the monsieur, leaping from his chair in an attempt to escape- Etheldredda grabbing the scruff of his neck and throwing him back into his place. Sighing, Federico instead said, "I will see to it that your horse is fed and watered," and looked to Ethel for any reprimands, but received none and smiled.

"Say, am I not recognising you from somewhere?" Monsieur Federico asked, squinting long and hard- only for it to be revealed that the guildmaster wasn't squinting at Kuro at all, but at a dwarf that had entered previously and was lingering about in the background. "Oui! Joric Ironfist! Come here, my diminutive dwarven friend! You were always generous with your alcoholic purchases when it came to good friends!"

"We're not here to drink," Etheldredda reminded Monsieur Federico.
"It is an inn, everybody is here to drink," the guildmaster corrected the woman, perhaps starting to grow a spine now that more people he recognised were beginning to bolster their ranks.

But the smile that was on the man's face quickly faltered as Annie entered the conversation, spouting about gods and priests and her own heroics. "Not this again ," he groaned, facepalming, but Etheldredda had a much warmer reception for the demigoddess.

"It's good to see you again too, Annie," Etheldredda said as fondly as she could muster. The two had been partners on the long rode from Capital City to Messia, and had fought side by side against the Dread Lord in a now-forgotten time. "I've never met a girl with more potential than you. If you aid me in my mission, then I will certainly help you rescue your friend, and give this Soahc exactly what he deserves."

Gorebucks

Soahc lazily gestured for one of the trapped patrons to come forward as he regarded the dark knight with a sinful grin, eyes roving over the ornate sword which was being brandished against him. When the summoned woman finally made her sobbing, slow way towards them, Soahc signalled for her to get to her knees, before using her as a foot rest.

"I do believe abnormality is a trait we share," the demigod noted, stroking his pointed chin until a menacing goatee grew out of it. Soahc's feet rose and fell with each annoyingly loud sob of his foot rest, which seemed to entertain the man to no end. "And noise is my speciality. You're no knight, probably booted out of the order for being too close to the squireboys, no?" Soahc's smile was a menacing gloat, as if daring Brodus to rise to the bait. "So you're here for a job. Just as he is," Soahc gestured next to the recently arrived muffin-man, with the dark and sinister ambience that could only mark the man for an assassin.

"The coffee's not for drinking," Soahc told Sileo, splashing the hot liquid into the barman's face, who tumbled backwards screaming about his eye. Let the dregs drop onto the table top, Soahc muttered incantations over the dark blobs as they ran freely, seemingly to form some pattern. "Amateurs scry with tea leaves," Soahc told them conversationally as he looked over the liquid markings, before turning to face them properly.

"There's only one more space on my team." He took a large whiff of the air. "And that's smoke, so the person I was looking for is already here. So how about we have a friendly competition, to decide whether you're worth my while?" The sincere smile on the demigod's face seemed to say that they could back down from the challenge if they wanted to, but his eyes seemed to establish they would be killed for turning it down.

The Plucky Hecatonchire

Karstone Greatjohn did a physical double-take when the dishevelled knight entered the Hecatonchire . He'd recognise that man anywhere- Sir Charles of Richton. The two had fought alongside one another, when they were leading a small army of volunteers who wished to avenge their fallen family members. Karstone had been in charge of leading the march, and Sir Charles had been designated as the trainer of the troops, for he had the most formal combat experience.

The last time Karstone saw Sir Charles of Richton, the man had been drowning...

The old adventurer's face turned back to a blank slate before the knight had finished wiping his shoes. That had happened in another time, quite literally, as some godly magic had somehow rewritten history, or at least that's what Karstone understood from it all. Sir Charles must have been given a second chance at life, which made the old warrior grin. A familiar face, so far away from familiar terrain, filled him with glee.

But this coincidence, if it was in fact not coincidental at all, also filled him with dread .

"You there, knigh'!" Called out the bearded soldier. "Ah've go' need of a strong 'and and a good wit, if yer've go' either to spare," he smiled encouragingly at his old friend, showing his half missing, all yellowed teeth. A life of fighting and poverty had done little to perfect his smile.

"Oh, I'm heading north," Alania Clarke said to the loudly speaking, hooded gentleman. She was shorter than the average man, yet taller than the average woman, decked out from shoulder-to-feet in the light blue armour native to Engelain called Amaryte. Lighter and stronger than iron, though still inferior to steel in terms of toughness. Her face was round and slightly boyish, but she wasn't too hard on the eyes and smiled often.

"Off to see the ogres; fascinating creatures. I wouldn't mind some company on the road." She flashed an encouraging grin.

Annie smiled and said to Etheldredda," I have missed you. I will help you on your mission to stop the Great Mother. That's a promise. We are a team no matter what. I learned a lot from you and our adventures and you gave me hope when I didn't. I am ready for this adventure. I help you and you help me because we always have. The guild master don't believe me how powerful I am really am and he doesn't believe I fought many battles because I am a child. Plus he still doesn't believe me after everything that just happened. He doesn't like me that much. Thank you for everything you have done for me and the compliment. Let's kick butt!" She knows Etheldredda was a friend and trusts. She ready for this new adventure. -Dances-

Joric Ironfist

Joric's ears perked up at the sound of his name, and he turned to see not one but several familiar faces. Having been previously heading towards the bar, he stopped and did an immediate ninety degree turn, heading straight for the table.

"Fredico!" The dwarf greeted his former guildmaster with a smile. He looked down at the recruitment sign, at the various faces gathered around, and immediately put two and two together. "Glad to see you've finally... brought something new to the table !" He said, placing a hand on the table to emphasize the pun.

"So what's this about, and what 'ave you all been doing?" Joric asked, curious.

-----

Sir Brodus

Brodus's eyes narrowed at Soahc's comment, but he didn't say anything for it simply wasn't true, and he knew when someone was trying to bait him. Indeed, this man was clearly a master baiter.

He took the time to size up the other arrivals. Judging by the looks of them, they were both highly skilled and highly lethal. So was he. He had spent the past thirty years killing people, after all, taking their souls and setting them aside for later use, which gave him a massive reserve set aside.

"If this competition will let me take part in the slaughter, I'm in." Brodus said simply.

-----

Alicia Vendal

After a few minutes of walking, Alicia had finally reached the inn. She opened the door and pushed it open, stepping inside. She wasted no time, and made her way straight to the bar, bypassing the various travellers and adventurers.

When she finally did reach the bar, she looked to the bartender. "I'm here for food, gossip, and directions. What do you have to offer for either of those?"
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

''It is settled then.'' said Rovaan with a nod and a toothy grin, showing off his wolf-like teeth. ''Oh, by the way, while I am not exactly a cultured man unlike yourself, it is rude to call any lady 'unlovable'. You are lucky she didn't hear you aye?''

With the matter of employment now settled, Rovaan took to looking over the company he might be working with. So far it looked like a menagerie of misfits than anything. Three women, an overly extravagantly dressed man, and now a dwarf. Not the finest company of people Rovaan had worked with but in these times it was better than nothing and starving in the street. Though Rovaan had the feeling that Federico would be cowering behind the rest of the company more often than not.

The dwarf who's name was apparently Joric Ironfist looked to be capable of handling himself easily enough. Obviously battle-hardened and seasoned, Rovaan figured he and Joric would be doing a good bit of fighting, though Ethel seemed like she could handle herself easily enough by the way she kept control of the situation with Federico. The other two Rovaan was unsure about. Apparently one had slain a good share of demons so that was a plus. Then again, without knowing what this job entailed that might not be of consequence. The other girl however was a different story as Rovaan couldn't figure her out at all. But with Ethel's reaction it seemed that the girl could handle her own as well.

While not the most impressive looking company of adventurers, from all that he saw and heard among the others, this was a good troupe. That was all Rovaan really cared about, aisde from the potential payment of course. But Rovaan would rather work with a group that knew how to handle themselves rather than play guard escort.

Kuro then said regarding his horse to Etheldredda, "Thank you" Then he quickly thought of something to say to but when Joric said something he decided it is best not to answer the guildmaster. He did say, "Been doing good, slaying monsters demons and other bad creatures, basically doing the same things I did before I left. "

Kuro then asked, "What is this all about? Are we hunting another demon? Or is this something else? If the everyone from the last job is here that means it has to be big, its that or I was right and this is a reunion that I wasn't invited to."
and nothing was spoiled :P
