On its own, though, the building was still a dump.

And then Alicia laid eyes on 'The Big Fat.' Well, Karstone was no longer first on her top ten list of most disgusting creatures. Still, that... thing... was surprisingly well spoken for a creation of the ogres.

"We have questions." Alicia said simply, forcing herself to look at that... disgusting abomination. "What caused your war with Ogrin? And why did your people decide to unite?"

Mechanical Spirry

Ryokin liked the answer. Although the two did not look like the best friend-material, they did seem to have a natural accepting nature to one another, even though they both probably only needed the other for a grander scheme of some kind. Mechanical nodded, then looked up, not knowing where to go. Ryokin asked the phoenix where Soahc would be, sarcastically...

“Yes, great Soahc, I must see him, for something...” Mechanical mumbled, blood gargling out his mouth.

Kira had realized that Mechanical seemed to be highly resistant to flames, he withstanding two mighty lances of flames that even broke through walls. His internal machinery, or whatever it was, probably had something to do with it, a device that absorbed flames so that it could keep itself red-hot. On the bright side, Mechanical did not seem aware that Kira had cast magic at him. His shadow-chains by this time wholly disappeared from the portal he came from; the prospect of being hooked by many sizzling chains of shadowy qualities was not a nice one to imagine.

* * *

And at that, began whatever transpired, until the next day, when Soahc seemed to be notified that a demonic automaton was looking for him, guided by Kira and accepting Ryokin's agreement. Why Mechanical wanted to see Soahc was anybody's guess, but this demon of flesh and machine, knew what he wanted to do, by blending two... plots... together, and kill two birds with one stone. Could Mechanical really be trusted?

March of Darkness

Meanwhile, Soahc had someone do something for an expendable person to do said something by someone for something, and some idiot singing some dumb song. With the mercenaries, hags, cultists, Kira, Ryokin, and the others in place, things seemed tense, albeit the singing eunuch.

Irritated by the annoying voice, Mechanical Spirry, who happened to be standing around despite being a very tall, sizzling, blood-gushing gargoyle (but then again, such men with Soahc probably were accustomed to such things), decided to do something, and began his grand appearance by spitting a thick mass of hot blood at the singing eunuch's mouth; hopefully, that'll shut him up, as the bloody projectile arched forth, eagerly wanting to plop down the castrato's throat. Still being absent of eyes, Mechanical managed to look at Soahc's direction, and clasped his hands behind his back, not caring about what happened to the singer.

"I take it Soahc is here? Or nearby? He is not in as a humorous mood as I expected him to be. Whatever; Soahc, I told you how you could defeat that, that, that Newborn, the other me, the one who is without iron... Magic, necromancy, pyromancy, of a powerful kind obviously. I hoped that would have been a hint enough to make the dreamers know how to kill Newborn in my mind, a mind I have that can connect to other minds. I wanted to destroy the Newborn in his spiritual form as that would have been enough, but some rather annoying music got in the way and ruined everything...” He said, tilting his head, but he kept his feet planted firmly in the ground, red-hot machinery sizzling in his body; bubbling blood leaked down the demon's frame.

“...He wants to meet you at a mountain, as you told him, but I take it you have not yet met him? No matter. I don't know how much you know of this world, but the flow of time is, shall we say, coiled, and when the coiled parts overlap, the past and the future... adjust. The Newborn plans to awaken a monster capable of deicide, to set it against you, I think it is referred to as an eldritch or something. Newborn goes to the east, to a special area of the east, one you may remember, where the brutes use bones of giants to build their holy huts. I do not know this world, but I sense a well of immense magical powers, and I speculate that that is what the Newborn is after. If he gets his paws on it, and then awakens the Eight-Legged One, well, I think it'll lead to a barbecue of gods.” He continued; a puddle of boiling blood formed where he stood.

“But I have yet more to say. Before my realm was destroyed by that most unpleasant voice, there is something you may know about, but I do not remember what it was, some sort of vial. If I came from the future, but appeared from the past, I must have acquired a vial of some kind sometime, containing something special inside. I feel it has not been destroyed by the realm or the realm-breaker, but that it was taken by someone, I think, from behind the scenes. I am with Ryokin, an army of demons, and you and your followers, will be enough to kill the Newborn once we find him at this mountain, and stop the arrival of the eldritch. If you think your path of destruction is impressive, you know not the Eight-Legged One.” He finally finished, and he began shaking a little, head and shoulders writhing upwards, mouth opening, steam, smoke and blood flowing out his jaws, eye sockets and nostrils.

It seemed Mechanical simply wanted to tell Soahc to go east, and prevent Newborn from doing something, perhaps speaking correctly, perhaps not. Would Soahc trust him?

Sleep came a went quickly and it had not been a peaceful one. As the ship arrived to its new destination Rovaan departed along with the others. They pushed through the oncoming crowd of panicked villagers trying to get on the ship they just arrived on. But none of that mattered in Rovaan's mind, something still plagued his thoughts. The look in Etheldredda's eyes back at the bed and breakfast haunted him. It had been the same look a young maiden back in Acaria when she had discovered his demonic heritage after he had been injured in combat.

It was only the sudden almost humorous arrival of an armored warrior that snapped Rovaan from his deep thoughts. It looked as if he had stumbled into a hag's trap. Considering the fact that the hags used humans for experiments and breeding, the fact that they launched an armored warrior away from their forest meant one thing. The hags didn't want whatever they were doing to summon the Hagfather to be interrupted. Once more Rovaan was brought away from his thoughts when Joric decided to go talk to the warrior that fell from the sky even after he had punched a villager out cold. So rather than turn back to his thought's with all the interruptions and commotion, Rovaan turned to Etheldredda.

''Seems the hags don't want to be interrupted if they let a strong warrior of that one's caliber be launched into the sky. Meaning we would be hard-pressed to get in ourselves unless you know of a way to get through. If not it is best we make a stand here where we can fight rather than waste time breaking through a magic ward of traps.'' said Rovaan before a long pause between the two of them.

Finally with a heavy sigh Rovaan spoke once more. There was something he needed to get off his chest and a doubt to relieve in his mind.

''Etheldredda. Do you afraid of me for what I am? Or do you hate me for it? Either way know that it doesn't change my thoughts on the mission at hand. The hags need to be stopped lest they bring about a catastrophe. I simply wish to know your thoughts as a team that cannot learn to trust one another cannot function properly. If we are to overcome these odds we need to know that we can rely upon each other and our own abilities and strengths knowing that others are behind us so our work is not hindered. Even if you are frightened of me or hate me, I can deal with it for I have dealt with it my entire life. Even my own home exiled me, turned me away like a common beggar infested by plague. I have lived through it, so one more person hating me or living in fear of me will not make a difference for it no longer matters.'' said Rovaan as he turned his gaze away from Etheldredda and towards the forest where the hags dwelt, his eyes filled with a fierceness like any other yet also in those glowing yellow eyes was the pang of sadness almost completely hidden by the burning ferocity.

~I was once a king in my own right. Now people live in fear of what I have become. A king without a throne, without a kingdom to call his own. How far I have fallen but I promise I will return to Acaria one day and liberate it from its curse.*

Annie understood they had to leave but she was in no shape moving on her own because using so much power at once. She was also in shock that Judy betrayed them. They were going to put her on Kuro's horse but he left without a reason. So Rovaan carried her instead out of the town. She felt very comfortable in his arms. She wasn't very aware what was going on even when they get on the boat. She heard that Siera had left the group and she didn't understand why.

The next day they got off the boat and was infront of the forest. Annie was laid under a tree where Rovaan had put her. She just listened what was going on. She saw Etheldredda look at her and could guess what she was thinking. She said in a very weak voice to Etheldredda," I am not leaving the group to go after Soahc. I can't defect him alone and I know I need help to fight him. I made a promise to you and I am going to keep it."

Judy had escaped the group that she was traveling with and the guards of that city. She was so exhausted from running all night. So she sat down under a tree to rest and hopefully get some sleep. That's when a man came up and started to talk to her. The man also told his name. She repiled in a tired voice,"Yes I did. Nice to meet you Cadmus. My name is Judy."

Zed

Zed, along with the remaining members of Etheldredda's party, disembarked at Darkreach. He was immediately wary as soon as he set foot on the morassy ground. The albino mage eyed the forest of Myrkvior distrustfully. The sight of those tainted woods made him miss the town of Copperdale and even Hamstead. Back there, one could find safety in feather beddings and a warm home, comforted by the thought of a dozen neighbors in their cozy cottages. One could scream in the face of bloody murder and summon their fellow townsfolk to their aid—few would dare violence for fear of a vengeful mob's wrath. But out in the countryside, in the plains, in the grasslands, in the mountains, and in this wicked forest... One shudders to think what horrors only the trees bear witness to.

Then his thoughts returned to frustration at the fact that he had missed out on smashing Judy an epic battle against a briefly returned Azul, using Kuro as his demonic vessel. They had quite a few of their number after that—Judy had turned cloak, and Kuro and Siera had fled from the scene. All three were in the wind now.

Etheldredda seemed nostalgic about returning to this place. As they entered the village, everyone seemed to be in a state of panic. As Joric went off to recruit some sinister-looking armored stranger, Etheldredda offered two plans. Either plunge into the forest and wipe out the coven before they could complete their ritual, or stop the Hagfather here before it reaches the forest.

"I don't know anything about this Hagfather, but if it comes through this village, it sounds like we have another Copperdale on our hands. Can't let that happen."

Hunt for Spirry - Henry was totally here this entire time

"I suppose you'll want mine as well?" Henry, seemingly appearing from thin air, offered his sword to the soldier Enrael. He assumed he would want his mace as well, so he took it from his belt and handed both his weapons to the Tyrannian soldier. He kept his dagger unless asked to hand it over.

He had been quite confused by his fellow adventurers' visions. He himself had slept like a bear hibernating for a months-long winter.

Sileo Umbra

As Beatrice the Bard sang his merry hymn of bloodshed, Sileo tossed a gold coin his way. "That tune was fire." He winked towards both the pyromistress Kira and the fourth wall.

He had done his share of plundering in the town - fifty pieces of gold and half as much silver. It was a bountiful sacking indeed, with plenty of gold, ale, and daughters for Soahc's depraved followers to take as they pleased. But now they progressed toward the demigod's sinister endgame.

Kuro's Flight

'Hail' , the words he heard Kuro thought someone chased after him. Kuro needed to give his horse some rest so now seems a bit the best to start a conversation with this stranger.

Kuro then politely introduces himself,
"Greetings I am Dalton Kurstag. Just leaving the city heading to the next town. Its nice to see someone on the roads, what would you want with a wanderer such as myself?"
A bit of lying with his name he figured giving a false identity was simpler then coming out and saying his real name. Knowing the destruction of the place he just left was caused by a lot of magic he wasn't willing to take the chances if anyone else caught his name.

His sword in his bags on the horse so he wasn't fully armed at this very time which he believes he could pass off as just a wanderer none of his friends seemed to be following him so all is good here but yet he felt bad for leaving them in the middle of their quest while at the same time he believes it isn't safe to be with that group not after what happened with Azul's attempt to escape. To prevent Azul from harming them he felt it would be best to leave until he found a more secure way of keeping Azul from escaping again. He needed a way to permanently bind Azul to himself.
and nothing was spoiled :P
