It seems that the demon is already starting trouble. The Ogres are now stuck in a dilemma, as the approaching people may be adventurers willing to attack them, meaning that a three-way fight might occur. The dimwitted Ogres will have to make a decision on what to do soon: they can flee, abandoning their friend, or they can, despite their inexperience and naivety, attempt to fight the demon and/or the approaching people.

((below is newly added material))

One of the Ogres, looking back and forth between the demon and the adventurers, rushed forth just as the demon was about to dive his jaws into Ogre flesh, and knocked the demon off. The demon flipped off and landed nearby, clawing into the ground with his hands and feet, all limbs bent with the torso almost touching the ground.

The demon breathed rapidly and audibly, each breath causing blood to leak out its mouth and drool to the ground. The devil’s jaws opened and closed repeatedly, predatory teeth clicking against each other wetly.

The Ogre taken down moments ago picked himself up, and all the Ogres regrouped, perhaps somewhat intimidated by the sight of the odd animalistic skeletal demon. They heard its heart pumping, heard its blood leaking here and there, but the demon just sat there on all fours, like a panther ready to pounce. The demon swayed its head slowly, movement making wet squishy sounds, eyeless meaty skull gazing at nothing. Absent of eyeballs, it obviously could not see. It tapped its clawed fingers onto the ground polyphonically, as if trying to calculate with sound.

The five young Ogres stood where they were stupidly, hearing the devil’s claws tapping, teeth clicking, heart beating, and blood drooling. They then remembered about the adventurers, whoever they were, fast approaching. Suddenly, the demon’s wings outstretched, flicking blood everywhere. It then ran on all fours towards the Ogre and opening its mouth; the Ogres got ready.

The demon leapt, and while midair, flapped its wings powerfully and quickly, taking flight, flying over the Ogres, who watched the demon fly overhead with ridiculously stupid faces. The demon’s flapping wings causing much blood to fall, spatter and flick in all directions, covering the Ogres below in it; off he flew, leaving blood falling behind him. His body seemed to regenerate blood as fast as he lost it!

“Oh? Meat-bat fly to forest. Too bad! He look tasty, me wanted to eat him.” One of the Ogres remarked, wiping blood out his eyes.

*Hey, that where Mugwo is! Me think he was stalking, me think?” The first Ogre who spoke asked himself, trying to remember something.

“Oh ya, we go warn Mugwo!” Another Ogre exclaimed worriedly, looking for an excuse to flee, as the adventurers were coming closer, and so the young Ogres wobbled off towards the forest, which was quite a run, a good distance away towards the horizon, but the Ogres definitely weren’t complaining.

The adventurers did not pursue, probably themselves also a bit nervous to considering fighting multiple Ogres and a demon, and possibly expecting a trap; perhaps more adult Ogres lied in ambush in the forest?

Sometime later, the devil reached and flew into the forest, bursting through the canopy to fly above the trees, covered with twigs, its own blood pouring down onto the branches, leaves and crowns audibly. The demon hovered, as if looking for something, blood showering beneath its wings and body, pummeling onto the vegetation below audibly like rainfall, flowing blood causing the twigs stuck in him to be rinsed off.

Starving, confused, and blind, the demon appeared helpless and lost, but felt that he overheard a statement, a voice like that of the Ogres. It seemed his eyeballs would not be regenerating anytime soon, and unable to see, he does not seem to be dangerous at a distance.

How did he appear in this world? Are there demonic ruins in the underground? Perhaps a lost city forgotten by time and nature? Maybe summoned by someone? Could there be a subterranean portal or gateway to another dimension? Only time will tell, unless the Coven or demonic armies destroy everything first!

Rovaan was satisfied with the damage he had wrought. It was sufficient enough to cut down on the brigand's numbers but there were still a good number running around. From his post flying low in the sky, and with the help of the spell that was cast on him, he could just make out a group of brigands trying to sneak their way around to flank the group down below. A grin spread across Rovaan's horrifying visage as he got an idea. If it worked, the results would be interesting to say the least.

Rovaan dove out of the sky in silence and landed with a soft crunching sound as he landed in the dirt. The funny part was that he was about ten feet behind the group of brigands that were attempting to sneak their way around. In silence, Rovaan matched his steps with those the the brigand closest to him as he sneaked up upon the poor man. Once within arm's reach of the brigand, Rovaan tapped him on the shoulder and whispered "BOO" in the brigand's ear as a grin spread once more across Rovaan's face.

Surely the sudden appearance of a part wolf, part man, and part demon creature would be enough to throw the brigand for a loop. Or at least cause enough chaos to make whatever fight ensued interesting. But though in a way he was having fun toying with the brigand, Rovaan did not lower his guard. Held tightly in his hand Rovaan had his demonic blade ready to run through the brigand at first thought.

But despite the fun he was having, Rovaan knew in the back of his mind that he could not hold this form much longer. Not without doing the unthinkable anyway, and that was a risk Rovaan had the hope he would never have to take. But the way this venture was turning out thus far, he feared even more that he would have to do what he feared doing. But despite his energy wearing thin already, Rovaan fought to keep hold of his current form for as long as possible. But it was clear from the dwindling flames that it wouldn't be much longer before his energy was spent.

Joric Ironfist

Joric grinned as he charged the bandits. One of them, armed with a woodcutter's axe, took a swing at his head, but Joric simply knocked the strike aside with his shield and swung out with his axe, cutting through the man's lower stomach. The bandit fell to the ground, dropping his weapon to try and cover the wound with his hands and stop the guts from pouring out, although it wouldn't help him.

While he was occupied with that engagement, another brigand had seized the opportunity and attempted to flank around him. Joric felt a knife deflect off of his armor's shoulder plating, and so he turned and quickly dispatched him in the same manner as the first one.

"You both seem to be all over the place!" He laughed, before turning to face his next amount, who was stunned by Joric's quick execution of two of his comrades. Joric swung his axe forwards, taking advantage of this distraction, and the man recovered just in time to dodge backwards. The axe cut through the fabric of his shirt but did not reach the flesh.

The bandit then attempted a counter attack, although Joric once again blocked and dispatched him with his axe.

Brodus

"Murdering every powerful entity I see get's pretty boring, anyways." Brodus said, having no problem with Soahc's orders not to kill each other. "Where to next, then?"

-----

Alicia Vendal

Alicia crossed her arms as Karstone looked her up and down, making it clear she was not okay with that. But she also knew that could encourage people like Karstone even more. Why did she have to deal with this?

So, the walk continued, and she was started to get tired. What she would give for a horse, or some form of mount. Of course it didn't help that there was someone who did have a mount riding right next to them. A small part of her wanted to push the dwarf off and take it for herself

And then there was an ogre.

Once it began to rise, and Alicia recognized what it was, she immediately turned invisible. Her companions may wonder where she had gone, but they would have no time to question it as the ogre approached.

Alicia, meanwhile, attempted to sneak around and behind the ogre, even after it was revealed that he was not going to attack them immediately. It never hurt to have a back-up in case something did go wrong.

She approached a nearby tree, and stealthily began to climb it - slowly. It was close enough and tall enough that, should the ogre turn aggressive, she could jump down on top of it and slit the creature's throat with her shortsword.

Henry

Henry caught on to Karstone's suggestive remark and tilted his head, half incredulous and half intrigued. He came here to fight Ogres, not hook up with every young and healthy woman he met, not to say he wouldn't if he could. Besides, Alicia would surely be much harder to entice than her friend Alania. Wasting time on a woman he can't crack could easily get them all killed out here.

They continued forward, Henry maintaining his drilled silence. The path was as eerie as any adventurer's trek, but nothing appeared to openly challenge them. Until of course, they finally encountered an Ogre. Not much of a surprise, though, this was their country.

Henry studied the Ogre's armor as Karstone would look over a maiden's figure. It was an impressive set, and given its sheer size and thickness, he figured nothing short of a cannonball could penetrate it. The Ogre, naming himself as Mugwo, demanded to know their business, suspecting espionage. Alania and Karstone drew their weapons, definitely predicting a fight. Henry's hand came to rest casually on the hilt of his sword, but he didn't draw.

"Pfft. No."

Sileo

Sileo crossed his arms as he listened to the Chaos God's monologue. The part about backstabbing and ulterior motives was obvious, but some of these halfwits definitely needed the reminder. The assassin was here for business, not some sadistic romp. If Soahc wanted a man dead, Sileo would take the pay and do the job. He wouldn't waste his blade on some guiser's scheme.

Zed

As the water turned to steam and then to nothingness, Zed's shield faded with it. He didn't even realize Rovaan had unleashed his demonic fire magic, nor had he even seen the company of brigands landing on the riverbed.

The albino leveled his staff, electricity arcing around its crown, and he released a bolt of brilliant blue lightning towards the brigands. One bandit was attempting to flank Joric, brandishing his arming sword, but before he came within ten yards he was struck by Zed's bolt, his boiled leather sizzling and his body flung from sight.

Zed decided to try another spell. He tapped the bottom of his staff against the ground and focused on a patch of grass by the river, where a few bandits were scrambling to battle. A few blades of grass swayed in an otherwise unnoticeable breeze, but they snapped into an erect position just before a bandit's boot came down on them. Instead of trampling the plant matter underfoot, the grass skewered the man's foot like half a dozen nails. He yelled in surprise and pain, leaving him open to another attack.

Turning his attention back on the troll, he tried to make sense of that riddle. No answer came to him.

"Could I get a hint?" He yelled over the sound of battle.

Annie has some guesses but she wants answers from the troll first before she really guessed. She waited for the troll to answer questions. She hopes they won't attack so they can get some answers from the troll. -Dances-

Once the water stopped coming at the group in a threatening manner Kuro's aura stopped all together.

He fell to his knees exhausted from the amount of power he released. Kuro even fell down towards the ground. Even Kuro was surprising that he could not move his body itself was exhausted to the point it could not move.

Kuro could move his mouth and breath but other then that he was pretty much still. He groaned as he knew he was in danger now that he could not protect himself. Kuro trying to use magic to get himself to stand but could not get enough power together to cast any of his blood magic spells.
and nothing was spoiled :P
