Plot
No matter what your story genre is, there MUST be a plot.
Now, the plot can be introduced in the prologue, or it could be introduced during the main story sequence. First, you must think of the plot. What will it be? How will it happen? Why did it happen? How will it end? How will it start? Once these are all answered, begin to summarize it.
This kid has his parents killed. For revenge, they grow up and terrorize where they live. They like to meet their prey in public, and then stock them and learn about them.
The killer meets the main character in Varrock. During that night, the killer attacks the main character’s house. The plot rolls in. The character is attacked, and eventually escapes and goes to Falador. The character meets up with the killer again, and starts killing more people. Eventually, the main character kills the killer by drowning him.
At the end, the killer comes out of the lake, river, or where he drowned, and this means that there might be a sequel.
REMEMBER: THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE!
Setting
The setting is where the story takes place. It could just be in some random city and have nothing to do with the plot, or it could connect with the plot. The monster might have been created there thousands of years ago, and after thousands of years, the area is built into a city, and the monster terrorizes everybody.
THIS IS ALL I HAVE SO FAR.
